Matenou opened his eyes next morning, finding himself sprawled out across the couch. He let out a little hum and looked to his side, seeing a note. He picked up the slip of paper and read it.

'You fell asleep against the door, so I moved you here. I'm out and about, you can help yourself to the fridge I guess.
                                           -Arthur :P'

"..He signed it with a silly face..." Matenou couldn't hold back a dorky grin as he got up off the couch. He left the house, trying to find Arthur so he could ask his question.

                                . . .

Arthur was going on one of his usual walks, on his usual trail. He didn't expect to see Matenou when he turned the corner.

Matenou grabbed Arthur's hands. "There you are! Listen, I want to ask you something."

Arthur chuckled. "You don't got to grab me, it's not like I'm gonna run away or anything. What's your question?"

"Would you go out with me? Like.. Could I take you out on a date?" Matenou smiled and rocked back and forth, being patient for what seems like the first time in his life.

Arthur was surprised he had been asked a question like that. He blushed. "Yea-.. .... Yeah, I'd love to!" He smiled.

Matenou's smile turned into a grin. "Great!! Be ready by 2:00 P.M.!" He teleported off to wherever to get ready.

Arthur looked down at the ground, then at his watch, which read 11:59 A.M.. "Better go home and get ready." He made his way back home.

                                 . . .

Matenou ended up in his kingdom, and immediately rushed into his palace.

Groupus Khan looked over and saw the King flying around. "There you are! You need to sign this, Your Highness!" He waved around a scroll.

Matenou put his head back and let out an audible groan, turning around and taking the scroll, reading it as fast as he could manage.

"Okay, you're always in a rush, but what's with the rush today? It's only noon." Groupus Khan crossed his arms.

Matenou scribbled his signature on the scroll and threw it on the floor, along with the pen. "I got a date at 2:00-"

Groupus Khan bleated. "A date?! With who?! I know you well, and there's no one around here you're interested in!"

"Well, I found someone I like, and lets just say he's from nowhere around here." Matenou flew off.

"Oi! Get back here, you didn't answer my question!!" Groupus Khan ran after the fallen angel. He opened the door to Matenou's room, where clothes and items were being thrown around everywhere. Groupus Khan let out a sigh and walked over to the closet, pulling out a clean tunic. "Wear this."

Matenou looked over at what Groupus Khan had chosen. "That's not..." He looked to the side and saw one of the servants of the palace roaming the halls. Matenou snapped his fingers, catching the Yo-Kai's attention. "You! I need your help!" He looked over at Groupus Khan. "And I need YOU to get out."

Groupus Khan growled a little as he left the room. The servant came in, shutting the door behind him.

Groupus Khan tried eavesdropping through the walls, but the conversation was too quiet for him to hear. The only bit he could hear was the shared laughter between the King and the servant.

Matenou flew out of the room and down the hallway. The servant popped his head out the door. "You can come back in now, Groupus, sir."

Groupus Khan went back into Matenou's room, and the servant pointed at an outfit laid out on his bed. It consisted of a dark grey dress shirt, black dress pants and black dress shoes. "This is what he was going for. As we both saw, the King flew off down the hallway. He wanted to talk with the Prince."

                               . . .

Matenou barged into his younger brother's room and flopped down on the empty half of the bed, launching a poor, little screaming K'mon-K'mon into the air. Luckily, Matenou caught him. Unluckily, K'mon-K'mon kicked him in his weak spot.

Matenou screeched and dropped his brother onto the bed, his arms tucking in between his legs. K'mon-K'mon crossed his arms. "Don't DO crap like that!!! What do you want?!"

"i just wanted to tell you i'm going out on a date.." Matenou recovered, propping himself up on an elbow and looking his brother in the eye. K'mon-K'mon just looked at him back, thinking about what his brother just said.

Matenou noticed the look on the prince's face and gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, he's nice. And.." Matenou scanned the room to make sure it was just him and his brother, then leaned in and whispered into his ear.

K'mon-K'mon's eyes lit up in interest, but he was also confused. "Really? I mean, he could see you and others? Would he be able to see me? ...Wait, how'd you even meet him?!"

"You know the S-Rank Forest?" Matenou scratched his chin. His brother nodded. "Well, apparently he found himself walking through it. I was standing around, mad at something... I can't remember what about, though... But yeah, I'm guessing that he used his watch and could see me then. I noticed he was there when he grabbed my wrist-"

K'mon-K'mon interrupted him. "Why did that guy grab you?"

"I was so mad and lost in my own thoughts that I didn't notice a dead tree was falling. He pulled me out of the way and when I turned around, that tree was exactly where I was two seconds ago.. So basically, he kind of saved my undead life."

K'mon-K'mon eyes widened when he heard that a human stranger saved his brother. "wow..."

Matenou nodded and looked at the time. "I got to get ready to go, kid, it's 1:30." He stood, patting his brother's fluffy head of curls before flying back to his room.

                    . . .

Groupus Khan knocked on Matenou's door before entering his room. The fallen angel was examining himself in the mirror. "Matenou, who even IS this guy you're going out with?"

"Ha, you don't want to know. You'd just flip out, anyways." Matenou fluffed his hair a bit, then turned around, facing the sheep Yo-Kai.

Groupus Khan frowned. "I'm your top servant! Your most trusted, your most loyal! And we've been friends since childhood!! You're supposed to tell me these kind of things!!"

Matenou sighed, hanging his head and looking at the floor. "Fine..." He looked back up at him. "I like a human. I asked him if I could take him out on a date, he accepted, and it's where I'm heading now."

The sheep looked shocked at first, but then his expression changed, and you could read on his face that he was mad. Matenou frowned, because he knew this was going to happen if he told Groupus Khan. "Three, two, one..."

Matenou teleported away a mere second before Groupus Khan yelled so loud, it could echo the palace's halls for hours.
