After that surprise attack we became very alert especially with our surroundings. We still go to school every day and we practice in secret. Zhao Yunlan started to get stronger as Shen Wei trained him. He can already control the wind element.

Lan Zhan and I started to grow much closer we couldn't even sleep without the other. We always act lovey dovey. And I was feeling happy even though Lan Zhan hadn't yet recovered all of his memories.

The six of us are now heading to the cafeteria to eat lunch. Once we arrived Zhao Yunlan and I looked for a table while the others ordered our food.

We were happily talking when one student excused me. So I followed her and we walk out of the cafeteria. The girl looks shy so I started to flirt with her to make her relax.

'So what do you want pretty lady?' I asked teasing her which earned me a blush.

'I... I wanted to give you this. I made it myself please try it.' She gave me a box and when I opened it it was full of sweets. I quickly took one and ate it. The sweet taste melting right in my mouth.

'Thank you. This is actually pretty good. Well then I better get back to the others.' I was about to walk away when she stopped me.

'No please finish it all first before you go back. I don't what you sharing my sets with others.' She shyly said. I chuckled lightly and agreed to what she wants. I finish the sweets quickly and thank her again.

When I entered the cafeteria again I spotted the others sitting in our table but Lan Zhan wasn't there.

'Where's Lan Zhan?' I asked Zhao Yunlan.

'He left when he saw a girl feeding you in the hallway.' Jiang Cheng said while glaring at me.

'What then where did he go?' I asked as I immediately stood up only to stagger a little. Xiao Xingchen immediately held me and stabled me.

'What's wrong?' I can see Zhao Yunlan's face full of concern.

'Hey I'm fine don't worry I just got dizzy standing up so fast. Now tell me where did Lan Zhan go?' I asked again and this time Shen Wei answered me.

'We don't actually know but maybe he's in the rooftop or somewhere.' With I ran out of the cafeteria. I kept running around the school trying to find Lan Zhan but soon I stopped when I felt my chest tighten.

Pain started to make its way to my chest. My breathing became shallow as I felt like my chest is burning up. I started coughing hard until blood came out.

I look at my hands that is now covered in blood. I started to tremble when I felt the pain again but immediately controlled myself when students started to come out and walk pass me. I hid my bloody hand and continued to walk around, enduring the pain.

Giving up I went to the rooftop again and this time I saw Lan Zhan their sitting alone while playing with a bird. I tried to go near him fast but my vision was getting blurry. Sounds started to dim as my ears lost their hearing.

My feet gave up and my eyes closed the only thing I saw before fully blacking out was meeting with the hard ground.

•LAN WANGJI•

I was staying at the rooftop trying to cool down. My mind was still remembering the scene earlier. Where Wei Ying is being fed by a girl who looks like she likes him. And he was happily eating the food she gave him.

It makes my blood boil and I wanted to kill that girl. She was trying to steal my Wei Ying from me.

Birds started to come near me so I decided to play with them. I didn't know what time is it and I don't care either I say yes their silently playing with the birds.

While playing I suddenly heard a loud thud coming from the entrance of the rooftop. And when I look, what I saw made my heart broke.

Wei Ying was lying there motionless while blood was coming out of his mouth. I immediately ran to him checking his pulse only to find it weakly beating.

I send a message through my kind to Shen Wei. And soon the others arrive, faces full of worry. Once they saw me sitting on the floor with an unconscious Wei Ying, they immediately surrounded the two of us.

'What happened to Wei Wuxian?' Xiao Xingchen  asked in panic when he saw the blood that came out of his mouth.

'I don't know I was silently playing with the birds when I heard a this and when I look Wei Ying was lying unconscious with blood on the side of his mouth.' I explained as I looked at Wei Ying with a pained expression.

I shouldn't have left the cafeteria. This wouldn't have happened if I stayed. He wouldn't have kept looking for me if I stayed their.

'We have to bring him back!' Xiao Xingchen said while still panicking. I was puzzled back to where?

'Where are you taking him back?' Zhao Yunlan asked the question that was on my mind.

'To Heaven. He's clearly been poisoned but I can't tell what poison it is. We need to hurry now or else he will be in more danger.' With that Jiang Cheg opened a portal and we all went in.

I carried Wei Ying with gentleness trying not to make his condition worse. As soon as we arrived in Heaven, we quickly flew towards the main palace. Where the King greeted us with a worried look.

'Brother! Please help Wei Ying!!!' I said as I stooped in front of him. He gave me a shock look before looking at Wei Ying.

He check his pulse and his face was full of worry. He quickly ushered me in and I followed with the others right behind me.

We went to a room and brother asks me to put Wei Ying down on the bed. I gently placed him on the bed before gripping his right hand tightly.

'We need his mother here. Xiao Xingchen fetch Cangse and Lan Qiren for me.' Brother gently said. I can see that he is panicking as well.

'Wangji, I need you to keep on passing your energy to him to help keep the poison from spreading some more.' I nodded and concentrated on giving my energy to Wei Ying who looked more dead than alive. He was too pale.

A while later a woman ran in crying Wow Ying's name.

'What happened to my baby?' She cried as she gently hugged Wei Ying.

'He's been poisoned and the poison is a strong one. We nerd to detoxify it immediately or else he will die.' Brother said before he started to chant the two who just arrived started to chant as well.

White energy began to surround Wei Ying's body making him float. Xiao Xingchen and Jiang Cheng did the same as well. While Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan just stood at the side.

I kept my hold on Wei Ying's right hand. I'm afraid that if I let go he will not make it.

While the angels continued to chant I notice Zhao Yunlan who's eyes began to change from born to a glowing golden one. After I saw him change to his nephilim form he started to walk towards Wei Ying.

White energy immediately went to Zhao Yunlan instead of going to Wei Ying. I was about to yell at him when a gold energy emerge from him and it went straight to Wei Ying.

Wei Yings body started to absorbed the golden light. Soon his pale skin turned back to normal. His cold hands became warn again.

After all the golden light was absorbed Zhao Yunlan turned back and collapse due to exhaustion. While the angels took a sit to regain their energy.

I check Wei Yings pulse and glad that it was back to normal. As I kissed his forehead I felt him move a little then I was met with those beautiful dark eyes.
