I woke up pretty early as I felt my bed moving like someone was jumping on it. I groaned out loud before opening my eyes.

The sight before me made me jump awake. A-Ling and Jingyi were jumping up and down on my bed along with Yunwei and She Lan.

'What are you guys doing? It still early in the morning.' I groaned some more. Flopping back on my now mess of a bed.

'Come on A-Yuan todays the last day of preparation and tonight will be the start of the Lantern festival.' Jingyi yelled before finally going down from my bed. A-Ling still continued jumping around.

I grumbled before throwing a pillow on She Lan who stopped jumping on my bed. That leaves A-Ling who's still jumping up and down. I was about to throw a pillow at him when Jingyi suddenly push him hard. Making him fall towards me.

I close my eyes as I heard A-Ling yelped before a soft thing landed on my lips. Since my eyes are close I couldn't see what that soft thing is.

After a minute or so I finally decided to open my eyes slowly and what I saw almost made my eyes pop out. A-Ling and I are kissing, his lips are on my lips. We both stared at each other for a while before A-Ling quickly stood up and run out of my room.

'Well that was awkward.' I glared at Jingyi and She Lan who immediately ran out of my room as well.

I slap myself wondering if I was still dreaming or not. This can't be happening, my first kiss is actually A-Ling and not a girl ag that. I groaned before flopping back down on my bed.

I decided to stay in my room doing nothing for who knows how long. I decided to try and ignore the others for a while and maybe try to forget about the kiss. I only went out when it was time for the Lantern Festival to begin.

'A-Yuan where have you been?' Mom asked as he came over and gave me a hug.

'I just stayed in my room all day Mom.' I half lied and half told the truth to Mom. I didn't really want him to worry much.

'Alright let's all go to the huge clearing. The villagers are already there waiting for all of us since you, your father and I will be the ones to start the Lantern Festival.' I smiled at Mom before we all headed towards the huge clearing near the lake.

I saw Jingyi along with Zizhen but A-Ling was no where to be found. The side of the lake when the huge clearing lies is now fill of lights from the lanterns. The lake was now full of different colors coming from the sirens deep under the water.

As we stood in the leveled platform all the villagers surrounded us. Mom said a few words before the three of us all at the same time released our lanterns to the sky. The other followed soon making the dark sky light up. Dire wolves howled into the night as dragons began to shoot for balls at the sky that will explode like fireworks.

It was a beautiful sight to see. I squished myself in between Mom and Dad who laugh before hugging me in return. As I began to look around I saw A-Ling with his parents happily looking at the lanterns. I smiled at that before I look at Jingyi who's also looking at me.

'Mom can I go to Jingyi for a bit?' I asked as Mom kissed my forehead before nodding. I quickly made my way towards Jingyi who happily gave me a hug. My heart skip a beat at that.

'It truly is a beautiful night right A-Yuan?' I laugh at Jingyi who's happily looking around. Soon we made our way towards the town that is now full of stalls selling different kinds of street foods.

Jingyi and I roamed around while A-Ling and Zizhen roamed as well. I busied myself with looking at things that caught my interest while Jingyi busied himself by eating almost all the food he can see.

I stop when I saw a store that is selling cute animals. I went over it and began to look around. I saw a very cute puppy sleeping all alone at the very back of the store. The way the dog look like mostly reminded me of A-Ling since the dog also has a red dot on its forehead.

'Welcome Young Prince. What brings you to my store?' An old woman asked me as she held a cute bunny in her arms.

'Nothing ma'am, I'm just looking around. Pardon me but why is that puppy in the far back?' I asked as I petted the cute bunny in her arms. She turned and look at the still sleeping pup.

'Well that dog has been here for who knows how long but no one has ever wanted to buy it. I think it was around 30 years ago when that dog came here.' I was shock at what I found out. The puppy is far older than me.

'That long?'

'Yes. That dog is a demon pup which grows far slower than other normal dogs. As of now he is just 3 months old if you consider it in the Mortal World.' I gave a sad look at the puppy that's now awake and looking at me. After a while I finally decided to buy the dog.

'Then may I please buy the dog?' I asked as I made my way towards the dogs cage. The dog barked a couple of times while wagging his tail excitedly.

'Alright Young Prince I will prepare the things you will be needing in taking care of him.' I nodded before letting the dog out. He was pretty excited and being a lot jumpier. I laugh a little as he tried to jump up to me.

'What should I call you?'
