"Babe are you ready to go?" Linden asked as he stood by the door to my office, he still looked as beautiful as the day I met him despite the lack of medium sized glass at the bridge of his nose.

"Do we have to go? You know how mom steals you away from me every time we visit them." I argued though it came more as a whine, Linden chuckled and walked toward me on the swiveling chair.

"I promise that won't happen unless you just don't want to go, but I need to remind you that you promised today is the day you rest, we agreed on that." He asserted sternly and I felt nervous for doing something he obviously didn't like, he had his cruel punishments which included me not getting food.

"I'm sorry babe, I forgot, got brain fog, yeah got brain fog and totally forgot today I promise I would take it easy, please don't be mad." I pleaded walking to him and closing the distance, he sighed shaking his head.

"Be glad I'm in love with you, now that you don't want to visit your parents, what do you suggest we do?" He curiously asked and I remembered the amusement park which recently opened.

"I have a great idea mama munchie." I teased knowing the pet name made him laugh all the time. "What is it papa munchie?" He questions with the same curiosity and amusement.

"Amusement park, rides, cotton candy, and games, just a date for the two of us." I bashfully suggested and he chuckled. "Okay charmer you got me hooked, let's go." I nod to him and place a kiss on his forehead.

"Now now or?" I tease and he glares at me. "Don't make me do that thing." I flinched remembering he had a way of making my arm numb for an hour. "Okay okay I'm sorry baby let's go." I responded and he smiled victoriously whilst strutting away.

"Good afternoon Luna, Alpha." Linden turns to wave at the pack members that had greeted. "Morning, how was patrol and how is your arm?" My mate asks one of the wolves and I groan, being the apprentice doctor always has him doing this for long periods of time.

I groaned again but immediately stopped when he glared at me. "Come on munchie, I didn't forget." He asserts and I grin toward him. We walked outside to the parking bay, it was basically a large garage for wolves who had cars and lived in the packhouse.

"My gentlewolf." I chuckled as Linden teased me for opening his door and buckling him in. "You have been naughty lately and extremely mischievous, tonight you're getting punished." I nibbled on the mate mark and he moaned.

"Somehow I can't wait." He replied with a smirk and I shook my head in disbelief of his obvious excitement over punishments and sex, I created a monster.

After buckling in, I drove out of the bay and headed toward the west side of St Maine where the amusement park was located, as we got closer Linden was even more excited. "I want hash browns, or is it dumplings, maybe sushi." I frowned as his unusual eating habit started to pick up again.

"Are you okay, you smell different?" I had begun to notice the intense change in his scent, it was definitely something with his body and I didn't know what was wrong. "Totally fine?" He replied with a smile but I wasn't convinced.

When we arrived I felt this intense pressure to just hold him, protect him, and what was inside him. "Babe what the—." He was stunned into silence when I crushed him in my arms. "Oh boy." He muttered lowly.

"It just had to happen now, don't know why I didn't know it." He mumbled to himself confusing me but no matter what I felt, everything within me  just told me to me to hold him and my wolf agreed with that.

After an hour or more, the intense feeling finally disappeared. "I know you don't pay attention when I tell you things, so I'm not even going to ask you if you know what happened except listen to my heartbeat and another." He suggested and I obliged.

It was his first then when I kept listening the tiny yet strong heartbeat reached my ears. "Is that? Are you? Are We?" I questioned wiping away the tears on his face. "Yes we are I guess, your mom told me that when you do that thing it's called a bonding process and I researched everything I could on pregnancy." He sniffled as he explained.

"Woooh Emric put me down!" He demanded as I twirled him around by the parking lot. "Yes, I'm going to be papa!" He laughed when I kept twirling him around and the other people around us were gushing over us.

"Thank you, thank you." I held him in a crushing hug again as I thanked him. "It's ours papa munchie, you and me, we'll go to the pack doctor to get me checked out, I already know some of the things I need, but for now let's go drown in candy." He asserted and I couldn't resist treating him.

He had given me the one thing I yearned for as alpha and I would never disappoint him or fail him. "I love you, Linden." I whispered in his ear whilst he dragged me to the gate. "I love you too babe." He replied as we entered.

Today had been one of the best days of my life, one of many I knew I would have with Linden. As we walked through the maze of people, I was highly alert now more than ever, I had to protect my mate, even if he could protect himself.

"Come on munchie let's try that one." Linden excitedly pointed to a stand with rings and bottles, we walked there and paid to play. It was amazing watching him enjoy himself and smiling. Though he and his mom along with his brother haven't talked in months, it was refreshing just watching him being happy.

We played several more games until he got tired and I added another stuffed toy to the other two he already had. "Now it's a family." He grinned looking at the little wolf stuffed toy. "It is." I replied with a smile.

"I'm hungry, I was grateful for the nearby burger joint." So I led him there and drew back his seat as always. "Thank you." He mumbled as he sat down. "Anything for you babe." I replied sitting opposite him. I waited for him to order everything whilst I told my father through the link to meet us later at the packhouse, I wanted him and mom to know the news first.

"Today was amazing though you won't let me get on the Ferris wheel." He whined with a pout and I sighed. "Babe you know why you can't go on, I might have let you on everything else but the Ferris wheel is a no." I replied sternly leaving no room for argument and he resigned from it with a smile.

"Thank you, now eat up mama munchie we have fireworks to watch then we head home so the  pack doctor can check you out." I asserted and placed a kiss on his finger, the ring there reminded me of our engagement, something in me just loved knowing he was all mine and everything he did was just magic.

After we finished eating I paid the bill and we headed to the open grounds for the fireworks. A quick run to the car for a blanket and back, we finally settled on the grass. The first burst of light ignited in the sky, flashing across the darkness with mesmerizing colors.

"We should do this more often." Linden spoke and I chuckled when he leaned on me. "Yes we should." I added. After watching the bright flashing lights for an hour I decided to get my baby home, I was no longer watching out for him only, I had two.

"Did you tell my parents in law?" Linden asked resting his head on the seat. "Yeap, don't worry I didn't tell her." I knew he wanted to know if his mother knew and I had no doubt that he didn't want her there.

"Good." He replied with a sigh, I didn't say anything just kept driving with his hand in mine. When we got to the packhouse my thoughts strayed to the fact that my family was growing, we needed a home to raise the little munchie on his way.

I didn't voice out my thoughts but I would work on it silently, I led my baby to the packhouse infirmary, it was at a larger part of the whole building. "Hey champ." My dad greeted me and before I could reply Linden was in his arms.

"Yes!" He cheered holding on to Linden and I facepalmed. "Honey we're going to be grandparents." My dad cheered and just like that my parents had taken Linden from me and gushing over him.

After groaning and prying my mother away from Linden, we finally got to the pack doctor. "Do you need a sonogram done now or later?" The doc inquired. "Definitely now." I demanded and Linden nodded to the doctor.

He did the process of applying the gel on Linden and the wand. "Okay, let's find the little alpha, ah there they are." It was bigger than I expected. "I'm shocked you didn't know earlier Alpha and Luna, you're already a month into your pregnancy." He stated and I was surprised as well.

"Pregnancies differ and remember I'm human." Linden supplied and the doctor chuckled. "Oh right forgot about those two facts." Linden rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"No need for me to tell you that you need vitamins, let me get you the print outs." I nod toward the doctor and turned to Linden. "So we are pregnant." I chuckled finally grasping the fact.

"Yeap, we are." I smiled toward my mate and kissed him. "You're beautiful you know that." I teased and he blushed. "I do now munchie."
