But I think an album is anything that is a collection. Perhaps it is your journal, collecting tearstained entries written at 3am. Perhaps it is a stamp collection, the little squares with their marked edges faded by time and of hours thumbing at their corners with awe and pride.

Perhaps it is your collection of footprints over a sandy shore, even if the waves wash it away without a single trace.
