Stephanie's POV

" Jellal? Meredy? What are you guys doing here?" The whole group of Fairy Tail members asked. I saw Erza looking at Jellal and Jellal only and gave the evil shipper's smile, making a mental note to remind Jamila-chan to write it down in the notebook later.
" Erza? Fairy Tail? What are you doing here?" The tattooed bluenette asked at the exact same time, making the whole thing sound like a bunch of words jumbled up together. I didn't miss the way he said Erza and then the rest of Fairy Tail. Which means...HE CARES FOR HER!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Oh well. Just another thing to add to the list of things to put in Jamila-chan's book.

" Well, we came here to do a mission," Levy told the two newcomers..
" Oh. Well Meredy and I sensed some evil presence here just now, so we came to investigate." Jellal explained.
" Well then. You guys can tag along. We'll complete this mission in no time! I'm all fired up!" Natsu yelled while the rest of the guild sweatdropped.
" No, wait," Meredy said. " This is too much of a big deal to have us all bunched up in a group. Jellal, you stay with Fairy Tail, and I'll scout around the area," she said, giving Jellal a wink that made his face go like a tomato ( geddit?)

" See ya later then!" Meredy said, skipping off giggling like a young girl. Jellal looked dumbfounded and had no choice but to stay with the group.
" This is good!" I whisper-yelled into Jamila-chan's ear. " This way Jerza can happen!" Jamila-chan's eyes lit up like when I had bought the donuts for her.
" Aye sir!" She whispered back. I'm pretty sure everyone was looking at us now but meh who cares. MY OTPS ARE MORE IMPORTANT!!!

" And who might you be?" Jellal asked us.
" Oh they're some newcomers to the guild. This is their first mission," Erza told him. He nodded. I was practically dying of fangirling already so I'm pretty sure that if Jamila-chan hadn't given me a good judge I would have exploded.

" Okay! Just like Meredy said, we gotta go in small groups to cover more ground! I'm gonna pair you up! So first off, it's-" Mira was cut off by Natsu scoffing.
" Okay, so first off, who made you boss? I bet all your pairings are going to have something to do with your ' OTPS' or something-" Natsu started.
" Um, Natsu-san, I don't think you should do that," Wendy said, sweatdropping but it was too late. Mira had already turned into her Satan Soul.
" And who made you the boss?" Mira asked, with a dark aura around her. Natsu immediately retreated behind Lucy and didn't question the she-demon.
" Okay! So, back to the pairings!" Mira said cheerfully, returning back to her normal form in an instant, making the rest of the guild who had tagged along sweatdrop.

" So first, it'll be Nalu- I mean Natsu and Lucy, you guys can go in that direction," Mira said, pointing.
" I'm all fired up!" You-know-who said, rushing off in the direction where Mira had pointed without hesitation.
" Natsu! Wait for me!" Lucy ran towards the direction Natsu had ran to and disappeared.
" Okay! Next up is Gruvia! Gray and Juvia, go in that direction!" Mira exclaimed happily. She was obviously excited about getting her ships together. Jamila and I even heard her say something about how her OTPS were going to get together.
" Gale! You're up!" Gajeel sighed and went off in the direction that Mira had pointed him in, while Levy blushed furiously and tried to hide it under her angry face.
" Rowen! Go that way!" Mira said cheerfully and both Wendy and Romeo blushed at her choice of words before running off together, happily may I add, leaving a fuming Carla behind.-
" Okay, lastly, Erza, you go that way," Mira said, pointing. Erza nodded and strode off, leaving a group of five people and the exceeds in the clearing.

" Jellal, uhhhh, you follow Erza," Mira giggled evilly. Jellal just plonked on his emotionless face and trod after Erza.
" Exceed squad, you glance from up high!" Mira told the three, who immediately sprouted wings and headed up into the sky. Jamila-chan and I grinned at each other. This was our chance!
" Uh, if you don't mind, Jamila-chan and I will be going that way," I stated quickly, turning around and leaving Miraxus behind.
" But isn't it your first mission?" Mira shouted.
" We'll manage somehow!" Jamila-chan yelled back, leaving the dumbfounded Mira and Laxus behind.

" Yes! Hi-five!" Jamila-chan and I slapped palms.
" Okay, now it's time to get down to business. Hold on..." I stood still as a realisation hit me. " We don't even know what to do." Jamila-chan and I facepalmed and continued walking cause what could we do?
" Hold it," Jamila-chan said and I looked at her. " I smell something," she said, sniffing. I wrinkled up my nose in disgust and was about to berate her for being revolting when I smelt it too. I lifted my nose and sniffed like a dog. Somehow we turned to face each other...

...and burst out laughing because the other person looked ridiculous.
" Okay, back to business," Jamila-chan said, after our laughing fit was over. " So what were we doing?" Oh, yeah. So what were we doing again?
" Uhhhhhhhh..." I said, making Jamila-chan facepalm. Just then, I caught a sniff of that strange smell again.
" Oh yeah! We were trying to find out what that smell was!" I exclaimed before going back to sniffing again. There it was again. That strange smell that didn't blend in well with the surroundings...
" I wonder what it is-AHHHHHHHH!" Jamila-chan screamed, because something had just appeared in front of her. A big, scary thing that had a menacing face, sharp teeth and pointed ears. It was a...
" MONSTER!" Jamila-chan screamed, finishing my thought for me.

That ridiculous thing towered over us, easily nine or ten times our size. I mean, we're teenagers, what can you expect? I shivered in dismay. Jamila pulled out her flute and I got into my ' battle stance', summoning a violet music note in my hand. She nodded at me.
" GO! Roar of the Music Dragon!" She yelled, her breath attack hitting the monster, but it didn't back down.
" Iron fist of the Music Dragon!" I yelled, hitting the monster with my fist. It didn't work. The monster just flung me back and I hit the ground.
" Steph-chan! Okay, now you got me pissed. MUSICAL WATER!" She yelled. Uhhhhhh new spell? Meh.
A swirl of water and music notes surrounded Jamila-chan, before hitting the monster. Cries of agony could be heard from the monster but it still didn't back down. How crazy is this thing?
" My turn," I said, determined. " Dark Music: Musical Darkness!" I honestly have no idea what I just said. Meh. Pretty sure instincts does all the work for me cause yeah I'm too awesome. Nah just kidding. Anyways I casted the spell and immediately, bolts of fast darkness collided with the pure, innocent music notes, causing an explosion to occur and the two elements to fuse together, creating...

Music notes with a dark aura around them( yes I know, I'm so creative XD). The attack hit the monster, sending it back a few paces. It isn't working! The monster got back up and roared at us. Ewww. Its teeth was dripping with what looked like slime, and had decaying brown teeth.
" Yo! You big, slimy guy up there! Yes, you! When was the last time you brushed your teeth?" I sassed, making the monster growl. Oops, obviously hit a soft spot.
The monster breathed out heavily, making the leaves of the trees next to us fly. I glanced at Jamila-chan and saw that she was rummaging in that never-ending bag of hers. I sighed, trusting that Jamila-chan would have something in that bag of hers that would actually be useful to us. For now, I needed to make a distraction until Jamila-chan could find something.
If Jamila-chan has an instrument, then I should have one too! I concentrated and pulled something out from my back, which coincidentally was a harp. I didn't even know how to use it so I just followed my instincts. I started playing a song. The Monster was enjoying it until...

It screamed, holding its head. I smirked. Seems like this instrument can do the same thing Jamila-chan's flute can do. The monster struggled, dropping down onto the floor and staying down for good. I was going to hi-five Jamila-chan when the unthinkable happened...

A roaring came from behind. I swiftly turned and nearly collapsed when I saw three more monsters of the same kind.
" Jamila you better be finding something in that bag of yours!" I yelled as I kicked a monster, which obviously didn't work, but what can I say? I tried my best right?
" Hold on!" She yelled, trying to pull something out from the overstuffed bag. I used my breath attack on the monsters but they just kept coming back and not being defeated.
" Aha!" Jamila-chan finally exclaimed with a yell of victory as she pulled a red translucent orb out from her bag.
" A signal flare! Genius, Jamila-chan!" I yelled as I continued fighting the monsters. She threw the orb into the air and it exploded into red, pulsing light ( just like the one from the S-class exam). Jamila came beside me and started fighting using her flute while I was using my harp.
" Jamila-chan it isn't working!" I yelled, playing note of my harp furiously. Don't ask me how. I have no idea.
" Hold on!" We both said at the exact same time and looked at each other.
" Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" We said in unison again. "Steph-chan, I'm counting on you!"
I closed my eyes and gathered up the power inside me. Strong winds started to blow, making my red hair fly. I then started to chant.
" Dear Godness of All,

I seek your power,

Grant me my wish,

To control the dark,

The monsters inside,

May be set free.

Summon the demons,

MELODY OF DARKNESS!" Music notes suddenly burst out from no where and collided with darkness that had started to flow around randomly, turning into monsters and demons made of it. They started surrounding the monsters. I nodded at Jamila, and she summoned water. The water suddenly started boiling and made steam, which mixed with the darkness, becoming thick fog ( SCIENCE PEOPLE!!!). The fog surrounded the monsters, leaving them helpless and unable to see, and also sapping their energy and will to fight from them. When their figures emerged from the fog, their eyes were full of shadows and despair, so it was child's play for our creatures to defeat them.
Jamila-chan and I high-fived as the monsters fell from their sheer height, making a huge thump on the floor which made several trees snap.

Suddenly, we heard clapping and cheering from behind us and turned around to see...

All the Fairy Tail guild members that had come on this mission, including Jellal.
" Are you sure they just learnt magic?"
" Jamila-senpai! Stephanie-senpai!"
" Nice work there!"
And the cheers went on. Well, that is, until Erza got annoyed.
" How long are you gonna stand around wasting time? Let's get back to the guild!" Erza said with a tick mark on her face. Everyone obeyed, even Jellal, who wasn't even part of the guild in the first place. Guess he just likes following Erza's orders...*evil shipper face*.

" Jellal! We got to go! The evil presence moved its position again! It's now in the West forest!" The pink-haired girl came running up to us, panting.
" Really? Then I guess we've got to go," Jellal said. " It's been a pleasure working with you Fairy Tail members," he said before going off with Meredy. I bet by this time the whole guild was creeped out by our evil shipper smiles so we got back onto the train back to the guild. The Dragon slayers were obviously begging for help and stuff while their *cough* *cough* girlfriends *cough* tried to help them. Tried.
As the guild went about their usual chatter, I looked out of the window and sighed a happy sigh. I could get used to this guild after all.
