Third Person Pov

Manvi coughed badly, Sameer picks up the water jug pours the water into the glass and makes her drink it. She glanced at him and asked "Why Sameer? why did you ruin him? Why you used me?" I asked

Sameer laughed and pointed the gun towards her temper. "You are about to die so I can reveal everything to you! college days are best Manvi.. I am really surprised you didn't recognize me..  oh yeah you were madly deeply in love with that orphan Aarav that you broke my heart!"

She looked at him in confusion "Sameer you were in our college?" She couldn't remember seeing him. 

8 Years Ago

Manvi and Aarav had taken part in the annual function. They were rehearing for it but Manvi couldn't get the steps right. The organiser scolded her and she mimics him when he left. He laughed at her antics as he find it cute. She glanced at him and he hide seals his lips.

"what is funny?" she asked

"nothing! don't worry you will get the steps I can teach you" he said

She nodded and he teaches her the steps. Aarav and Manvi kind of developed a soft corner with each other during the rehearsals. They performed and won the first prize and since the day college tagged them as the "cutest couple". Manvi saw him playing basketball and admired him. 

He looked at her and she turned away. She began to speak with her friend she turned but didn't find him. She turned to right and he was in front of her. He whispered in her ear "I know I am hot! wanna go for coffee date?" he asked

"no.." I denied and moved but he grabbed my wrist.

"come on Manvi! we know we like each other so let's accept it" Aarav said. She removed her hand and run away from there. She finally went to meet him at the coffee shop and they began to get to know each other.

Aarav informed her he is an orphan "I was raised in an orphanage after my parents death.. desire to become a police office serve the country and have a family"

She was overwhelmed hearing him "wow! that's ambitious and I want to have everything in my life" 

Slowly their friendship turned into love and Aarav cleared his exam. He was shortlisted for the training along with one more person from the college. Aarav was tensed regarding something and Manvi noticed it. She asked "what happened Aarav?"

"I need to pay for my training otherwise I won't be able to become police officer" he informed.

"so what's the problem??" she questioned

"I am not giving any bribe!" he refused.

"Aarav but it's your dream" she said

"I know but I won't bribe them Manvi I don't care how much that other person had given to the selection officer but I will be honest" He declared. Manvi can't see him compromising because of such small matter. 

She inquired the staff about other person selected for training. She read his name "Maan Singh Khurrana" 

She thought about Aarav "if he finds out than he will be hurt! I must not hurt his self respect" 

She knocked at his door and slides a letter under. She runs away from there and Maan opened the door. He picked up the letter and reads it "hey handsome! I was wondering if you want to go on a date with me tomorrow? I will be waiting for you at Hard Rock Cafe in blue dress.." 

A smile curved up his lips reading it. The next evening, he came to the cafe and saw a girl in blue dress. It was Manvi's friend Sneha, she signaled him to sit and they began to talk to each other. 

"well Maan.. how confident are  you that you will be selected?" she asked

"I am well confident I had paid so much to the selector for this.. " he confessed. 

Sneha records his confession and left from there promising him to meet later. On the selection day, Aarav performed a few stunts and training acts while Maan performed a few. The two selectors gave more points to Aarav but the other who was bribed gave double their points to Maan so Maan was selected. 

"But Sir I think Aarav should be selected.." the other selected argued.

"Maan had more points he will be going!" he said

"Oh no officer before that you must hear this!" Manvi comes to the ground with her phone. She shows the recording and glanced at the two other officers.

"Miss Manvi Thank you so much for this.. I never knew this was happening behind our back no wonder every time why such brilliant trainee are left behind.. and the undeserving are trained" He said.

Manvi smiled and said "I just wanted a deserving candidate should be selected Sir.. not the one who bribes after all money can't buy everything!" 

The selector calls the police and Maan is arrested along with the corrupt officer. He glanced at Manvi fuming in anger and promised to take revenge for this. "I will show you what money can buy Miss Manvi!" 

Aarav gets his letter and tears slips down his eyes. He just couldn't believe it. Selectors praised for his honesty and dignity "You refused to give bribe still came for test knowing the result will not be in your favour! really appreciate it young man.. you will achieve the heights and make our department proud one day!" he tapped his shoulder and left from there.

Manvi hugs him tightly "Congratulations Aarav.." 

He parted the hug and kissed her lips. "Thank you for always being with me. I know you have exposed them.. my genius" 

Manvi laughed "yes yes.. I know I am the best now go and start packing" 

He came out trance of his thoughts. "You and that bloody bastard sent me to jail! I couldn't became police officer after that... my dream everything ruined! what did you say that day? money can't buy everything but I bought you.. expensive gifts, your desires everything I gave you.. and that Aarav I snatched his honest officer tag from him" he was proud of his victory. 

"You were wrong Sameer! Aarav deserved more than you and you knew it" she said 

He shouted "oh really? who the hell are you to decide that? so now you know everything let me just kill you" 

Manvi closes her eyes seeing the death in front of her eyes. She remembered Aarav, how beautiful her life was with him but she ruined it with her own hands. A bullet sound was heard and she heard the firing. She opened her eyes and found Sameer lying on the floor with his hand bleeding. 

He gets up and glanced at the door. He gets shocked to see Aarav standing before his eyes. A smile curved up Manvi's lips seeing him. 

There were injuries on his head and other places. Sameer was confused seeing him and how the hell he reached his hideout. Aarav smirked and pointed gun on temper "Sameer Khurrana didn't I warned you.. You are playing with fire!" 

"how the hell did you reach here?" Sameer questioned him. 

Aarav smiled, the goons surround him and Manvi fears of his life. Aarav took a deep breath "so you really want me to fight with them?" 

"If you want to see her alive" Sameer pointed towards Manvi who was held on gunpoint. Sameer snatched his gun and settled down on the chair. 

Aarav fights with most of them. Sameer shots on his arm and Manvi screamed "no Aarav!" 

He glanced at her and she looked at him with guilt in her eyes. Sameer punches on his stomach and he lands on the ground. He was about to shoot him but Aarav grabbed the gun and pointed towards him. He gave a hard kick to him to which Sameer had a hard pushed. Aarav stands up straight and passed deadly glare to him. 

"Maan Singh Khurrana or Sameer Khurrana! what should I call you?" Aarav asked

Sameer glared at him. Aarav grabbed his collars and gazed at him with anger "A criminal will be always be a criminal thank god you were not in our police department" he beats him up badly that he comes in his semi-conscious state. 

The police comes and everyone is arrested. Commissioner orders him to stop "Aarav I said stop!" but he doesn't listen. 

He signals his team and a few officers pulls him back. Shinde tapped his shoulder "Sir the truth is in front of everyone! Calm down please"

Aarav takes a deep breath. The officers leave him and Sameer is handcuffed by Shinde. He laughed "Aarav I had given you a wound for life and snatched the love of your life! she has my baby in her womb.." 

Aarav folds his palm in a wist in anger. Shinde takes him away before Aarav lose his control. The lady constable opens Manvi's rope and helps her get up. She had been losing her consciousness due to the mental stress and the wounds. She glanced at Aarav who wasn't looking at her even for a second. She walked passed him and Aarav closed his eyes with a painful tear escaped down his eyes. 

He opened his eyes and looked at commissioner. "Aarav you need to come to police station till the formality is cleared.. I promise I will clear your name and with the same dignity and respect will give back your job" 

"Sir, I had always been honest towards my job. It was affecting my marriage still I fulfilled my duty as a police officer but at end this department couldn't trust me. I am sorry Sir but I will not join back the force after facing this humiliation from my own people" Aarav declared with heavy heart. He walks out of the place and sits into the police jeep heading towards the police station.
