Manvi's POV

It was the day of our engagement, Aarav hadn't met me for the past two days because he was in Delhi for some work. I was getting ready for the engagement, I wore my earrings and glanced myself into the mirror.

I smiled seeing my reflection, just then my mother image reflected and she kept her hand on my shoulder. "pretty...." she said

I turned to her and said "really?"

"yes and a mother never lies" Nandini replied kissing my forehead motherly. I moved out of the room along with her.

I sat inside the car and headed towards the engagement venue. Within an hour, I reached the venue. I stepped out of the car, lifting my lehenga a bit and started walking towards the entrance of the hall.

As soon as I entered I was mesmerized seeing the decoration, it was so perfectly done keeping in mind my taste. I saw a pair of eyes eyeing with emotionally, it was my father standing near the stage.

I moved to him and smiled "Dad.. it's just engagement"

A smile curved his lips and he replied "you won't understand a father's feeling"

"come on Dad.. I love you" she said and hugged me. He smeared my head. After a minute, I parted the hug and looked around.

Aarav was not here yet, his best friend a girl 5 foot 4 inches tall commenced towards me. She was not only his but my best friend too since my college days because of her I came closer to Aarav.

"You are looking so pretty, Aarav ki toh nazar nahi hategi tumse (Aarav's eye won't be off from you)," she said to which I blushed.

I questioned her "Where is Aarav?"

"he will be here soon, he returned from Delhi yesterday but had to go to the police station for some urgent work in the morning" she replied.

I sighed, took a deep breath "I hope he remembers it is our engagement today"

"he does.. I had reminded him in the morning" she replied struggling with my shoulder.

It has been almost an hour, all the guests have arrived but there is no sign of Aarav. My father was trying his number but he wasn't answering the call.

I thought "Can't he just forgot his duty for one day"

Finally, I saw him entering the hall. I was shocked to see the bandage on his forehead. Nandini went to him and asked, "Aarav, are you alright son?"

"yes maa.. it's nothing just a little scar" he replied with a smile.

I am going to beat him up, he is going to ruin all the engagement pictures. He looked towards me, for a moment he was lost seeing me in this white and blue contrast lehenga.

Karan said "Aarav.. let's do the engagement first then you can admire my daughter"

I smiled at his words, Aarav came to the centre stage and apologized for the delay with his eyes. I shot a deadly glare at him in return.

But, the next second I smiled as the photographer was there to snap the picture. Alisha forwarded the ring to Aarav.

I forwarded my hand and he slid the ring inside my finger, everyone clapped. Nandini gave me his ring and I slid it into his finger.

He then pulled me closer by keeping his hand around my waist and posed for the picture. I whispered "it's ruined already"

"no Shona.. it proves Aarav Malhotra is a brave police officer and a committed person to his love" he replied leaving me just amazed.

Don't know why the way he expresses melts my anger within few minutes. I kept my hand on his chest and looked at him with love.

Alisha whispered "Control yaar control.."

Aarav held my hand and descended the stage to greet his senior colleagues who were here to attend the engagement. He introduced me to them, they were praising about his bravery, honesty and I was feeling so much proud.

"Well Aarav there is another good news for you, you are promoted as ASP" the commissioner informed.

Aarav was left totally surprised and thanked him "Thank you sir.. I guess my lady luck is really lucky for me," he said eyeing me, I smiled.

The guests began to leave, I was standing at the corner with Alisha. "So Manvi.. what's the plan?" she asked.

I was confused "What plan?" I questioned her.

Alisha bit her tongue out, she changed the topic with "honeymoon plan?" she giggled.

I sighed and asked "ask Aarav will he get time off from his duty to go on honeymoon"

"of course, he will" Alisha replied. Just then Aarav interrupted the conversation.

He gave the keys to Alisha "go home.. and when you reach, make sure you give me a ring on my phone" he said as a concerned friend. I smiled, Alisha nodded and left waving bye to us.

I was still angry at him for coming late at his own engagement, he eyed me and said "I know you are still angry at me"

I gave him a look, he held my hand took me out of the hall. I looked back at my parents who were busy. I said, "wait.. mumma papa?"

"shh.. they know you are with me," He said. He sat on his bike and asked me to sit behind with his eyes.

I sat behind and he dozes off, I kept on questioning him where are we going but he didn't reply.

After 15 minutes, he parked the bike and I stepped off it. He tied a black cloth to my eyes, I touched it and asked "Aarav what is this?"

"shh... just come with me" He said and grabbed my hand. He pulled me somewhere with him.

I was so curious to know about his plan, he removed the cloth from my eyes and I opened it. I was left totally amazed seeing the scenario in front of my eyes.

It was a new place, the dream house of mine. He asked, "did you liked it?"

I turned to him and smiled "I loved it Aarav but this seems to be so expensive"

"yes, I know but that you don't have to worry about I have bought it on EMI" he replied keeping his hand on my shoulder.

I touched his wound and he winched in pain "ahh.. finally you noticed my wound"

I sighed and hugged him tightly "I love you Aarav.."

"not more than me Shona" he replied. He picked me up in his arms like a bridal style and took me into the bedroom.

I surprised to see the decoration of it. The left wall had our pictures along with my parents. He dropped me on the bed and leaned on the top of me.

"I was thinking, why don't we celebrate my promotion and our engagement," he said naughtily.

I gave him a look, he kissed my lips. I was just shocked at his move, but couldn't deny it and responded back. The kiss turned passionate and wild one he was indeed a good kisser.

He touched my waist and I shivered his touched. He moved his down but I stopped him "Aarav control"

He eyed me and frowned "we are engaged and love each other so no more control"

He kissed me again and bite on my lower lip to which I moaned opening my mouth. He put his tongue insider it and started exploring it. I put my hand behind his hairs while his hands were roaming in my waist and back. We broke the kiss when we were out of breath, I started to take heavy breaths.

I looked into his eyes which clearly showed his love and desire for me. He planted kisses on my neck and pulled down the blouse sleeve from my shoulder with just the tip of his finger. I just couldn't stop him, maybe I also wanted this to happen.

I opened his shirt button and he threw away his shirt. I was very much closer to him, he bit my earlobe to which I screamed "aarav..."

He smiled seductively "today, you won't have any complains from me" he whispered in my ear.

He then removed my brassiere and kissed all over my upper body. He caressed my nipples hard with his thumb making them erect to which I moaned aloud. He again kissed my lips along with exploring my curves stroking them hard. I moaned in pleasure which makes him turn on.

I just grew impatient due to his teasing, I pulled his face up by holding it from his hair and gave him a look. He sensed my desire and smile "but you said not now! we must control" he repeated my words.

I sighed, how the hell can I control myself when he is so hot and sexy. He turned me horny with his acts. I just loved his touches, he was making circles around my breast with his finger.

His phone ranged, I am going to kill him if leaves me in the middle and goes but instead, he turned off his phone as he also didn't want any disturbance tonight.

The next morning, I opened my eyes but didn't find him on the bed. I heard the shower sound from the bathroom and smiled lightly. I stetched myself and he stepped out of the bathroom in towel.

I glanced at him with wide eyes, he looked even hotter in wet body. I closed and sighed "Manvi... you are so shameless" I whispered.

I opened my eyes and he was in front of me. I smiled and asked "becoming shameless again? don't worry we still have wedding night after the marriage"

I pushed him away and stood up. He pulled me back and said "cover your marks, otherwise maa and papa will ask too many questions"

I looked myself into the mirror and frowned "I told you not to bite on my neck arghh.."

He laughed, I wore my clothes and he dropped me back home. He just loves me so much, and I always complain that he don't have time for me.
