Diksha's POV
It was 11 pm. I was waiting for Dushyant. We were in the same maths class so we decided to do our homework together.

He finally came. "We were supposed to start at 10!" I complained. "Der raat ko padhai krme ka maza hi aur hota h" He said and sat.

We opened our books.

"Page 49, Exercise 7M" I said. "Hmm! Standard deviation, yeh kab kiya!?" He asked. I chuckled. "Statistics k last lesson me, jab tumhara dimaag kisi aur planet pe tha!" I said. He made a poker face.

"Yeh btao k isko solve kese krna h?" He asked. "Pehle sab numbers ka 'mean' dhoondo...fir usko 'x' se subtract kro...then divide by 'n'. Uska square root nikalo...and the answer is the standard deviation!" I explained.

He was lookimg at me like I just spoke an unknown language. "I'm not Jadoo...trust me" I said. He chuckled. "Likh kar btao...fir samajh aaega" He said. I wrote it down. We did some questions and he finally understood.

"Baaki ka kal krte h" He said. I nodded and we closed our books.

"Soch raha hu aaj yahi so jau" He said. I made a poker face. "Why not? Woh raha bed...chalo na sote h" I said.

"Aww, chalo na baby" He said lifting me up. "Dushyant! Pagal ho gey ho kya? Neeche utaaro mujhe!" I said. He chuckled and shook his head.

"Please" I said making a puppy face.

He nodded and put me down. "Goodnight" He said placing a kiss on my cheek. I smiled and he left.

Sameeksha's POV
My alarm rang. It was 4:45 am. I stretched my body. I got fresh and switched on the tv. I unlocked my phone and checked some notifications.

Finally the match started: cricket Test match, Ind vs NZ. New Zealand's team sang their National Anthem. It was India's turn. I stood up and sang the National Anthem with players.

They finally started.

My phone beeped. I unlocked it. Sumedh's message. "Itni subhah jaag rhi ho? Woh bhi Sunday ko?" He asked. I smiled. "Match dekhna tha. Abhi abhi start hua h. Aap kyu jaage hue ho?" I asked. "Neend nhi aa rhi...wait me bhi aata hu, saathme dekhte h" He replied. God, Sumedh and me alone in the room...that too in that darkness...
