After that awful night Harry made it his mission to avoid Hermione wich was proven hard thanks to the potion effect. He tried to pretend that everything was fine with Ron, that they found a cure which was just to keep distance. He also got around to explaining everything that happened to Ginny and they got to talking terms but it was still off.

Ron had also introduced him to his new girlfriend which made Harry feel jealous. They looked so happy, he wanted something like that but he had to be happy for his best friend.

Harry also searched ways to make himself feel more attractive but everything he did just made him feel worse.

He laid down on his bed hugging a pillow close to him, he didn't want to look at himself. He just knew he probably looked tired and it was going to make him feel worse about himself.

Was this what happened after you resist the urge to be close to your soulmate all day? He wondered if Hermione was as tired as he was, hopefully not.

He didn't know when he fell asleep but he woke up to his stomach growling angrily. He dragged himself out of bed and made a quick sandwich to eat. It was already dark out but that didn't stop him from going out to his garden for a small walk.

His house felt lonely now, he had bought it with the idea of being with Ginny and starting a life together. Now he had a nice big house and only himself to enjoy it. At least he had this nice garden.

He couldn't help but wonder if Hermione would enjoy the garden as much as he did. A small part of his heart just wanted to have a picnic with her by the flowers he always liked to look after. He would prepare some food for both and would take cute pictures if her smiling.

She would also put her input in the decor, what would she change he wondered. Maybe the color of then living room, she had commented it was a bit dull. Then bedroom would definitely need to be remodeled to fit her things in.

Harry shook his head, she had made it very clear it was a nightmare to be with him. He shouldn't be thinking about his life with her because it would never happen.

Hermione felt frustrated with herself and the whole situation with Harry. Why was this so complicated? Why didn't he want to cure whatever this was? And why was all of this more draining than anything else she had ever experienced?

She tried talking to him but his charms were up so she couldn't go to his house and at work he made it very clear that he was avoiding her.

Hermione also hated to admit it but she craved to be next to him again. Probably because of that stupid potion but she wanted to have Harry in her general circle.

She had also found out about Ron's new girlfriend and couldn't help but feel even more heart broken. How was she going to cure this and get back together with Ron?

She groaned in frustration, this was going to be more complicated than she thought.
