"You've brought the memory-opening machine..."

"I have grandpa-..."

"What about the journal book for each mission, you've brought it, right? What about your medicines-...."

"GRANDPA!!! I'll be fine. After all, you've given me the knowledge to explore the array of information there" Amy reassured herself to her grandfather, who still had a worried look on his face.

"Yes. Yes. I know that. I just can't... You go without my supervision; I don't want anything to happen to you" her grandfather whispered sadly.

"Take it easy, grandfather. I'll be fine. I promised you to return home safely. Therefore, I beg you to take care of your health while I'm not here" Amy said to her grandfather.

Today was the perfect time for Amy to go time traveling. Dr. Ethan had given some advice about this time machine. It was explained that the limited time for traveling through time was 3 months. Therefore, Amy did not have much time to find out the starting point of the feud between humans and aliens. She has also met with world leaders to find out the timeline of what happened in the past.

"Then how can I be sure that I can be trusted?" Amy asked her grandfather.

"Then, you just give your memories to this machine. This is my first innovation that I've never published because I'm using this for my old age in case, I become senile later" explained Dr. Ethan, giving his innovation to Amy.

"Are you sure that I can do it?" asked Amy who was beginning to doubt this mission.

"Hm? Of course, you can. You're like your parents who always help others and you also have a genius brain, I'm sure you can find out about this war" consoled Dr. Ethan.

Last night's conversation made Amy smile a little as she knew that this was her destiny. She was very sure of this decision and she hoped that this war would not happen again which took the lives of relatives, friends, and children. She was also curious about what caused this war, because of the world leaders he had asked no one gave a definite answer. This made her wonder, is it true that this war is between two species only? Or maybe there is a third figure who manipulates all this? All her thoughts were mixed, not understanding what had happened.

The time machine created by Dr. Ethan is a time machine that can be carried everywhere or is rather more practical. Armed with knowledge and information as well as some items that could be used for their safety. Amy immediately turned on the time machine and went to 1897.

She landed wearing clothes that were fairly suitable for the era of the past. She landed in a fairly remote village. 'Okay, Amy, the first thing you do is find out where this is' she thought trying to go to the market or a place crowded with people. Seen in front of her was a large crowd of people staring at the vast cornfields.

"Hm, excuse me if I may know what's going on?" asked Amy to one of the women staring at the cornfield.

"Oh, honey, didn't you hear the rumors last night? They said that there was a mysterious light making strange patterns in the Pickart family's cornfield" gossiped the woman.

"Oh, I've heard about that too! But, I'm not in this village" Amy commented on the woman's story. 'Hm, so there is a phenomenon here. Maybe I should look into this more' she thought looking at the strange patterns that were unrealistically created.

"You're not from here, are you? That's why you don't know this news... Where do you want to go?" the woman asked.

"Ah that, I want to go to Washington DC. By the way, this is where I missed the train..." said Amy just for fun.

"Hmm, in that case, you should take the night train over there, maybe you can find your way to Washington DC."

"Okay. Thank you, so much."

Amy's first stop corresponded with Washington DC, according to the newspapers it was Grover Cleveland's last term in office and a new president had to be elected to lead America. The political issue of the year was the Spanish-American war in which rebels almost defeated the Spanish army in Cuba. Public opinion in the United States was influenced by reports of human rights violations by Spain in Cuba. Another political issue was the Wilmington incident in which a white coup overthrew a black government. This tragedy is the only coup that has ever occurred in the United States.

Amy, who is afraid that something will happen to her, tries not to stand out so that this mission can be successful. Moreover, there are rebellions everywhere, based on a tool and money prepared by her grandfather, Amy is positive that she can complete this mission.

By train transportation, she arrived in Washington DC, and she went to one of the cheap motels to be able to stay for two days there. With determination, Amy searched for the ins and outs of what was going on. "Hum, is it just me or is that guy watching me all the time?" she muttered. Trying not to stand out and stay alert to the current situation she went back to looking for news in the newspaper.

"Hi, you dropped your handkerchief" exclaimed a man the same age as Amy.

"Oh, I'm sorry for the trouble," Amy said politely. She noticed that the young man had a mark on his neck that looked vaguely like a number. Her breath hitches and she tries to cover her surprise. She still remembers her grandfather saying that if someone has a number on their neck then they are an alien.

Amy smiled and tried to continue her activity. She could still feel that the young man was still looking at her from a distance. 'For now, I should stay low first' she thought.

Another day of chaos and even more violence against ordinary people. In recent days, the government has also been surprised by a meeting of world leaders which can be concluded that this is a negotiation between humans and aliens.

Amy, who was still confused by the current situation, decided to find out where the negotiation place negotiated by the world leader was. From the notes she had brought from the future the negotiation place was the military base in Area 51, which would be difficult to sneak into the area which was heavily guarded.

"Hm, maybe I'll check the items that grandfather prepared for this mission" she muttered looking at some of the items given by her grandfather. The inventions made by her grandfather included a small camera, drone, tracking device, and so on. Tools that are useful for the investigator mode, 'Wow! Grandpa 100% delivers his ultimatum innovation' she marveled.

She also went to the news store yesterday to meet with one of the young men suspected to be the alien. As expected, the young man was in the same place picking up one of the newspapers. According to one of the world leaders, she said that their ability is that they have a much higher level of awareness than humans so every movement made must be in a natural state.

Amy also put a tracking device on her collar while the two of them were chatting. The young man's name was Wilson Conway, and he said that he frequented this newspaper shop because he wanted to know more about the Spanish-American war. It turned out that he had a friend who was fighting there. Amy, who heard that, was almost concerned, but she remembered her mission and she didn't want to avenge the war between humans and aliens but she wanted to know what exactly had happened... What was the cause of all this? Because of course, she wanted to live like before again.
