• Confrontation •
"How long have you been having these dreams?" Ben asked after Amphitrite finished explaining everything about her dreams to him. She sighed. "A while. I'm not exactly sure how long I just know it's been a while." She replied before looking out over the pond she was just in. The light of the moons reflected beautifully off of it's glassy surface. "And you never thought to tell anyone?" "Oh I told people." "Who?" "Well you, first of all." She began as she looked over at him. In the dim lighting of the night Ben's eyes seemed to be full of darkness. It contrasted beautifully with his pale skin. "Who else?" He asked curiously. "Leo and Hazel is all. Though, after tonight I might tell Master Luke. I think he should know about this." "No." Ben replied quickly. Amphitrite looked at him, brow furrowed and a confused hint in her eyes. "No?" She echoed him. "Why not?" "My uncle doesn't always have our best interests in mind, believe it or not." "Ben what are you talking about?" Ben sighed as he rolled his eyes and stood up. "Forget it." He snapped. "You wouldn't understand." Amphitrite stood with him, her blue eyes were intent but yet also full of confusion. "What do you mean 'you wouldn't understand'?" Ben glared at her. "I said forget it." He said more sternly. "No, I don't think I will." She persisted. "Why are you like this?" She hissed at him, finally ready to confront him about his attitude. "Like what?" "Like, mad. Mad at the world. Ben what did it ever do to you?" Finally, Ben Solo snapped. With an agitated growel he lunged at the girl and used the force to knock her off of her feet, causing her to land back into the pond. She stood up, dripping wet and knee deep in water. Ben raised his hand to continue to fight the girl but upon seeing her ocean blue eyes looking up at him, wide eyed with a hint of worry, he dropped his hand back to his side. "This isn't worth my time." He hissed and he narrowed his eyes down at her. "You aren't worth my time." He added the final bit with the intention to hurt the girl. He then turned to head back to his room, leaving a soaking wet and terrified Amphitrite alone in the light of the moons.
