Hello, it's Alpha here again (I do realize now that Charmander was working on this at the same time that I was and we'll tell you when we switch out XD)!

Before entering a fanfictions, please read how to enter and what rules you must go by. We will explain this below.

ALSO NOTE, PLEASE DON'T ENTER IN THIS CHAPTER, WAIT UNTIL THE ACTUAL ENTRY BOOK IS OUT! (IT IS OUT NOW)

1. Fanfictions don't have to be completed, but they must be by the due date is ready.
They must be marked complete by the due date, but do not have to be complete now. You will not be disqualified now, but if it's not marked complete when the due date comes, you will be.

2. It must be PG-13 or under.
If one of the judges report to us (Charmander, Grace, or I) that a book should be marked mature and is not PG-13, it will be disqualified. Anything under PG-13 is completely fine (PG, G, Y-7, or even Y... I doubt Y though).

3. It must have something to do with Amourshipping.
If you're here and looking to enter, I assume you've heard of the term Amourshipping, but if you stumbled across this Watty Awards on accident---

Amourshipping: The belief that Ash Ketchum and Serena (both characters form the Pokémon anime) belong in a romantic relationship.

I understand if you've entered an Amourshipping High School fanfiction or something of that sort, and it doesn't have any actual Pokémon, and that's fine. Just make sure it has some sort of Amourshipping.

4. It must stand on it's own.
Your fanfiction must be easy to read if it is a sequel or be the first book of a series.

5. One book per category.
If you are caught adding a book that's still rightfully yours on another account, you will be immediately disqualified.

Categories:
•One-shot
•Short Story
•Amourshipping High School/Junior high
•Post-Kalos
•Adventure
•Misc.

One-shot
One-shots do not have a word limit, but they must be in one part. It's fine if you have an extra author's note, but anything other than one chapter will not fit into this category and go in Short Story or something else.

Short Story
Any fanfiction that is 10,000 words or less. If it's over 10,000 words, it's classified in one of the other categories.

Amourshipping High School/Junior High
This is for stories that have rounded around the fact that Ash and Serena have went to some sort of high school or junior high together. Self-explanatory.

Post-Kalos
These fanfictions must happen after X Y and Z has ended. This may be a made up region or canon region, or maybe just after it's ended. If this is in any of your fanfictions, they are not classified as Adventure, they are classified as this category.

Adventure
Any fanfiction that has Ash and Serena still on their journey through Kalos and keeps them in Kalos. Make sure your fanfiction is not after the journey or a high school/junior high.

Miscellaneous
Any Amourshipping fanfiction that does not fit in the categories above.

How to enter
Wondering how to enter, now? Once the entry book is posted and we have figured out specific dates, you can go on ahead and enter! Here's how:

Comment on the entry book what you're entering and what category. We'd also like a word count and rating (PG-13, PG, G, Y-7, or Y).

Along with this, please send us your book via PM so it's easy for us to reach your fanfiction.

Here's a good example:

Name of book: Hello, I'm Awesome (not a real fanfiction XD)
Category: Adventure
Word count: 3,312
Rating: PG

And then send in PM!

IF ANY OF THESE RULES ARE VIOLATED, YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED.

Please don't argue with us either.
