Christmas Special
I think I might of forgotten that this one shot can fit in this book lol. Who knows why I put it in an actual fanfic of mine (probably to keep the readers at ease before they come to kill me lol). But. Yeah. Here's another late oneshot XD
•~•~•
I REALLY did work hard on this. I hope you all like it... for those who do read it, I mean. Thank you. If you do read. Means a lot.
Thanks for being patient! Hope y'all enjoy.
PLEASE, PLEASE tell me if there is any typos or mistakes. I had no time to go over this so it would be GREATLY appreciated!
Also don't question "well if there's arceus, shouldn't it be called arcmas?"
...
Shhh.

Christmas Special:
A girl with flaxen hair found herself in a room full of lights. She fixed her hair with a golden clip before prancing about the room like a mad man. A small Pokémon followed her, making a few quiet, but cute squeaks in excitement.
"It's Christmas Dedenne!" Bonnie yelled excitedly. She used her tip toes as she ran into the next room. "It's Christmas everyone!"
A man, with unbrushed raven hair, turned around from his chair, smiling back at Bonnie. Next to him sat another woman with honey blonde hair that was neatly cut to her shoulders. She was holding the boy's hand softly.
"You're quite excited aren't you Bonnie?" Serena giggled lightly.
"Why wouldn't I be!?" Bonnie screamed back, taking a seat in the opposite direction of the couple.
"You're telling me," Ash grinned, "All the presents- and the food!"
"Pika!" Pikachu agreed happily, sitting on his trainer's shoulder.
Serena rolled her eyes before nudging the boy in the shoulder. "I like it because you get to spend time with your family and friends, personally. Not only that, but the feeling you get while giving someone you love a gift is always heartwarming." Her cheeks heated up from the thought.
The sound of a door opening interrupted their conversation, and a blond haired man with a pair of round spectacles walked into the room, a tray in hand. He fixed his glasses almost cleverly in order to make the light reflect off of them. "It's Christmas morning and I'm happy to serve you the most fantastic meal I've ever served all of you!"
Serena laughed under her breath with Bonnie while Ash on the other hand sat there, practically drooling, waiting for this so said 'fantastic meal'.
Clemont walked over towards them proudly, setting the tray onto the table, setting his fingers on the lid, ready to lift it up. "Perfectly seasoned, flavored, and still sizzling, I give you- a perfectly smoked ham!" He shouted, pulling off the lid with one sharp motion, making the bottom of the tray make a harsh clinking sound. "Bon appétit!"
Clemont continued to stand there proudly, his nose pointing towards the sky, until he realized he wasn't hearing any reactions. He began to sweat. "S-so? What do you think?"
"Uhh..." Ash looked up at Clemont, sweat dropping. "There's nothing there."
"WHAT!?" Clemont looked down at the tray to find the tray completely empty, his reflection staring back at him. It took him a few seconds, looking down at his reflection, before the realization hit him. "CHESPIIINNN!"
A small pokémon with green spikes came out from the door behind him, his nose twitching lightly before tilting his head. "Ches?"
Angry, Clemont ran towards the small Pokémon, only to miss because it ran back into the kitchen, frightened by his trainer's sudden rage.
"Chespin! Chespin, ches!" The Pokémon screamed about in the kitchen.
"I can't believe you ate the ham! I smoked that thing for two whole nights! All so it would be perfect for this morning! I can't believe you!"
Chespin, actually confused, ran passed a corner, disappearing from Clemont's view. Clemont followed though, still as angry as could be. But before he could even see the Pokémon, his eyes went straight to the perfectly seasoned, honey coated ham with faultless orange and flaky skin surrounding the still steaming meat trapped inside. Clemont stared at his own masterpiece before smiling giddily.
His Pokémon stood there around it, tilting their heads towards their trainer.
"Arceus, Chespin. You have no idea how lucky you are." Clemont walked over towards the ham, his Pokémon moving to the side to make room for him.
"Bunnelby," Bunnelby said, moving away with a bright red ribbon in his mouth. Clemont easily noticed what they did.
"You guys." Clemont picked up the newly decorated ham. White, angelic lace outlined the platter, pine needles sticking out from the corners. He shook his head. "And let me guess," he looked over at Bunnelby. Bunnelby smiled back happily before placing the red bow onto the ham neatly, Luxray roaring loudly next to them. Clemont nodded once again, smiling at his Pokémon and told them to get ready to follow him out of the kitchen. And they did just that.
Clemont came back with the newly plated ham, sweat dropping a bit before walking over to the table. He set it down on the original plate gently.
"IT LOOKS SO GOOD!" Ash yelled out excitedly.
"And it tastes even better," Clemont boasted, taking a seat next to his little sister.
Following after him came Bunnelby, holding another platter in hand. It, gleeful as could be, hopped on over and took one large leap to place the plate onto the table; revealing it to be covered in steaming roasted potatoes. Luxray on the other hand came in right after Bunnelby and, using its head as a hand, slid one other bowl onto the table. This time revealing a green and rich salad, full of dressing and croutons. The smell was almost poisoning, leading everyone around the table lean in, tempting them to get a bowl of their own.
"Chespin! Ches!" Chespin interrupted before anyone could dig in, running over towards the table hastily. "Chespin!" He help up a white plate, full of gingerbread Pokémon and other objects. Such as Christmas trees and candy canes and all of the sort. This made Bonnie's day it seemed.
"Look!" The young blonde yelped at the sight. "It's a gingerbread Pikachu!"
Everyone tilted their heads to look at it. Ash put his hand out and grabbed it, a grin plastered onto his face as he looked at the details. "These are great, Clemont!"
"Ah, it's no biggie," Clemont replied, reaching for the back of his head with his hand, happy with everyone's reactions.
"What do you think, Pikachu?" Ash looked back at his Pokémon excitedly.
"Pika!" Pikachu yelled out, smiling down at the cookie.

Took them awhile, but they eventually ate it all... most of it done by the one and only Ash Ketchum. The Pokémon though were given some special Pokémon food, apricorn juice, and some gingerbread cookies as well to end it off.
"Can we open presents yet!?" Bonnie begged, jumping up and down. Even though she was older now, she still acted as much as a kid as she could be.
Clemont sighed. "I wouldn't see the harm in doing so."
"Alright!" Bonnie threw her hands up into the air. "Come on Dedenne!" Bonnie jumped over her brothers lap and ran over towards the main living room area, Dedenne following right behind her as well as the other Pokémon who were sitting beside their trainers patiently.
Ash sat up from his chair, along with Clemont who left to go keep an eye on Bonnie and the rest of the Pokémon.
Ash turned around, allowing his ruffled hair to move around softly on his scalp. "Let's go, Serena." Nonchalantly, he held out his hand to Serena who was still sitting down, staring up at him. She smiled back gleefully before taking his hand. He pulled her up to her feet gently until she stood up and then started to walk into the living room, Serena's hand still clasped in his. She laughed softly under her breath.
Once they entered the room, Bonnie could be seen on the floor on her knees, looking thoroughly at all the presents under the Christmas tree. She grabbed one quickly and stood back up, walking over towards an already growing pile that was near all the surrounding Pokémon.
"This one's Pancham's!" Bonnie set down the box happily in front of the panda Pokémon before jumping right back up to her feet and running back on over to the lit, decorated tree.
Pancham cocked it's head away, trying to not show any emotion. On the inside he was actually very surprised and excited, but he kept this to himself. For some reason he just didn't want anyone to think that he did have any emotions- but then a gift was given to Sylveon who yelped in excitement, wrapping her ribbons around the neatly wrapped present. The ribbon on the present seemed to be dipped in sparkles, which Sylveon was certainly fond of.
This continued to go on for a few minutes, each Pokémon and trainer giving their expression of thanks towards the still energetic Bonnie. Finally, it seemed as though every present was handed out. Everyone sat there excitedly, a present or a few in front of them. But then Bonnie caught a glimpse of a blue ribbon caught near the trunk of the tree. She crawled under it, reaching for the small box that was wrapped neatly in red wrapping. Finally, she was able to grab onto it and she crawled back up from under the tree, looking at the tag and seeing it was for Ash. From Serena of course.
She ran over towards him and handed out the present, a large grinned taped to her face.
Serena stopped Bonnie for a second and took the small sized box, placing it beside her. "Sorry... I just... want to give it to him myself."
Bonnie smiled giddily, sorta fangirling on the inside. She made a squeal and said, "Alrighty then," before skipping away, back to her spot on the sofa.
Everyone sat there patiently, wondering who would open their present first.
"I think Ash should open his present first!" Bonnie yelled.
Serena stared back at Bonnie, a little flustered.
"I wouldn't mind," Ash said, giving a large smile back.
Serena stared back at Ash, loosing her anger and nervousness. She only nodded in return. She grabbed the box that was actually a little heavy and handed it to Ash softly.
Ash looked down at the present, letting his hands trace the blue ribbon that made his heart stop. Ash gazed back up at Serena, almost lovingly. But she interrupted him quickly. "It's the leftover ribbon- that you gave me... the ribbon around the present, I mean." She put the palm of her hand to her collarbone where it rested upon the blue ribbon that Ash gifted her years ago.
"I can tell... thank you." Ash put on a smile, letting his fingertips pull on the silky ribbon gently, not letting it crease or wrinkle. As soon as he got it off, he put it into the palm of his hand, where it laid limply, practically lifeless. But it seemed so much of the opposite of that to Ash. It made his heart race. And that, to him, was living.
He grasped the ribbon in his hand before softly putting it into the pocket of his hoodie that he wore earlier in the morning to have a snowball fight with his pokémon. Yet after the snowball fight Serena made him hot cocoa, as well as some for his Pokémon, knowing he was too careless to think about how cold he'd actually be by the time it was done and over with. But Serena was more than happy to help him. After all, he was her husband now. Not much more had to be said.
Serena continued to sit there patiently beside him, her hands in her lap and gripping her clothes nervously. She was second guessing herself for whatever reason, but she was also excited to see his reaction more than anything.
"Open it, Ash!" Bonnie screamed impatiently. She was teetering to the side on the sofa, trying to get a good glimpse of the gift.
With one gentle hand, Ash ripped the side of the box and tore off all the wrapping paper. It was a medium sized black box. He took of its lid before grinning widely, the sides of his mouth seeming to reach his ears. He picked up a giant cookie that was covered in chocolate chips only to find something else underneath. It was a golden plated platform that seemed to fit to something. On its side was a slanted print that read "The Best Pokémon Master There Ever Was". Ash only let out a small laugh when he read it, but then lifted it up and placed it at his side. After that Ash gladly got up from his seat and walked over towards a shelf that held up a large trophy that shined due to the lights that hanged from the roof. He reached up and grabbed it with one hand and brought it down to his torso, walking back over towards the couch and sat right back down next to Serena.
Once he done this, he picked up the medium sized platform and put the gold slated trophy on top of it, where it connected perfectly with the small indent on the top of what Serena gave him. He set it down on the table in front of him and smiled while staring at it. After he had a long look at it, his hand grabbed the large homemade cookie that was baked by Serena herself. Unable to control himself, Ash carried his lips over to Serena's cheek, and kissed her there. He smiled while she smiled even larger and nuzzled his nose into her cheek one time before sitting back up into his seat.
Bonnie squeaked to herself, almost falling off the couch. "It's so cute!"
Serena only blushed while Ash continued to smile, holding his new gift in his hand.
The night went on with presents being opened by everyone. Ash's pokémon, of course, received food, which they gladly received. Bonnie received a lot of pokémon caring supplies. Such as brushes, treats, and other wondrous goods that made Bonnie jump in glee. Serena, well, received a lot of kisses and cooking supplies. Not to mention a small stuffed animal of a Fennekin from Ash, which she gladly received. Her pokémon got many items that were wearable during performances. Then there was Clemont who received some engineering kits and tools that nearly made him run out of the room in excitement to try them all out.
After all of this was over, Clemont and Bonnie packed their things and left. Although Ash and Serena were still young, 20 years of age to be exact, they managed to buy their own house in the Kalos region from the money they made being the Pokémon Master and Queen of Kalos. Each of them lived happily there.
"Ash." Serena looked over at Ash as he closed the door once Clemont and Bonnie were out of sight.
He looked back over at her and gave a reassuring look. "Yes, Serena?"
Serena wrapped her arm around Ash's, making an intertwining lock. "I love you." She placed her head on his shoulder.
"I love you more," he said gladly, wrapping his one free arm around her waist. He swayed back and forth as he held her softly, his head resting on her own.
"No," she responded in almost a whisper. "I love you more."
"Sure you do, honey. Sure you do."
They argued about who loved the other more for some time before managing to walk over towards their bedroom. Pikachu ended up sleeping at the end of the bed while the two love birds rested fully blanketed in their bed for the night in each other's arms. The two slept soundly there. For their Christmas wishes came true. They were holding the person they loved the most.
And little did they know they were holding their own child. For it also slept soundly in Serena's stomach. Even though the both of them haven't noticed it yet, they'd soon find out that it would be a baby girl. And then after that a baby boy.
But for now, it was just the two of them. Sleeping as soundly as could be.
