'As.. I mean Aaron come on!' Serena shouted at Ash, as she ran down looking for shops on the island. 'Hold up I am coming' Ash shouted back and ran after her. He found her looking at a clothing shop with a big white dress on show. 'Wow isn't it pretty?' Serena blushed and admired the dress. 'Yes just like you..' Serena turned around and saw Calem standing there with a rose in his hands. 'Here you go beautiful' He handed Serena the rose. Serena looked at Ash, who was trying to keep his patience in him. 'T-thank you' Serena said blushing and took the rose.

Calem turned to Ash, 'ugh didn't know brat boy was here' Calem looked disgusted at Ash's appearance. 'Could say the same about you' Ash replied. 'Whatever, come on Serena let's go somewhere else from here' Calem said and grabbed Serena's arm. However Ash grabbed her arm as well. 'She was with me first!' Ash complained. Ash then felt a hit on his head and collapsed to the ground. 'Nice one Gary!' Ash could here muffled cries from Serena as she was distanced away from him.

Greninja and Pikachu saw Ash on the ground and rushed to his aid in worry. 'Don't worry guys I'm fine' Ash reassured his Pokémon. Just then Clement and Bonnie appeared and had quizzical faces as they saw Ash on the ground. 'Ash what happened?' Bonnie asked as Ash stood up with the help of Clement. 'Nothing, but I have one favour for you guys' Ash said. 'What might that be?' Clement asked. 'Follow Serena and keep an eye on her, she is with Calem and Gary at the moment.' Ash explained. 'Alright sure, come on Bonnie let's go' Clement said. The two siblings made their way down into the direction of Calem had dragged Serena.

Clement and Bonnie nodded. "What about.." Clemont looked towards Ash but noticed he had disappeared. 'Oh well let's go, big brother!' Bonnie said and started to skip her way in the direction of Serena and the two boys.

Serena was held by Calem who was trying to get her interest in the Boys shop but Serena took no interest and was continued to get dragged by Calem. 'Isn't this shop the best?' Calem said with sparkles in his eyes. Serena rolled her eyes as he dragged her into a boys shop. Serena looked around for Ash hoping he would rescue but he wasn't seen anywhere. She sighed but spotted Clement and Bonnie.

'Hey Serena how about we head for lunch, I'm starving!' Calem said. 'Er.. okay' Serena replied while again Calem grabbed her hand. 'Over there, how about it?' He said pointing at a 5 star restaurant. 'Are you sure, you can pay for it?' Serena sweat dropped as she expected the place to be pricy. 'Of course!'

With that the duo rushed into the restaurant and ordered a table for two. While Calem went to order the food, Serena quickly grabbed her phone and dialled Ash's number. 'Sorry but the call cannot be taken at this moment, please try again later' Serena slammed her phone to the ground in frustration. 'I don't want to be stuck with this loser, he stinks like a sewage pipe!' Serena whispered in anger.

To her surprise she heard a muffle under the table. She ducked under the table and found Pikachu struggling. 'Pikachu?' Serena whispered in shock. 'Pika pi' he said pointing at his tail which was stuck. Serena pulled Pikachu back and released him from the tables grip.

'What are you doing here?' Serena asked stroking the fur of the mouse Pokémon. Pikachu pulled out a note which confused Serena even more. Pikachu handed it over.

Dear Serena
I have sent Pikachu to you, to keep you safe from Calem. I saw your call but unfortunately I couldn't accept it because well... the important thing is that you should be safe with Pikachu. I might be late home but please don't worry!

Serena smiled as she finished reading the note, 'that Ash.' Serena sighed and placed Pikachu on her lap. 'Well your lucky that I have a ketchup bottle in my bag!' Serena giggled as she pulled it out. 'pika...' Pikachu drooled all over the bottle and hugged it tightly before licking Serena's face in appreciation. 'Pikachu stop.. that tickles!' Serena laughed uncontrollably.

'Serena?' Serena looked up and saw Calem standing and looking at her in confusion. 'Oh hey Calem!' Serena giggled. 'Um hi, where did Pikachu come from?' Calem asked as he sat down opposite her. 'Um.. he's my friends, but he wanted to stay with me for some time.' Serena explained.

'Funny, Pikachu reminds me of a guy.. I think his name is Al.. Ashley?' Calem tried to remember. 'Ash!' Serena growled in anger which caught Calem off his guard. 'Sorry there was something in my throat' Serena said. 'Okay.. well let's eat!' He said and munched down on his food.

Ash heard a vibration in his pocket. He scrummaged through his pocket and found his phone. He was about to answer when he heard voices nearby. He quickly rejected the call and ducked under a rock. He peeked from around the corner and spotted two guards patrolling a cave.

'Pikachu I want you to accompany Serena on her day with Calem, she might get worried that I didn't answer the call.. and take this note.' Ash handed over a piece of paper which Pikachu kept in his fur. Ash peeked once more over the rock and saw the coast was clear. 'Alright Lucario, I choose you!' Ash released the aura Pokémon. 'I want you to teleport Pikachu to Serena' Ash asked. Lucario nodded. Lucario grabbed Pikachu in his hands.

'Keep her safe! And Lucario go to Clemont and Bonnie and stay with them!' Ash commanded. Lucario nodded once more and disappeared along with Pikachu. 'Greninja I choose you!' Ash released his ninja Pokémon. 'Well its just us two now' Ash said looking at his faithful partner. 'Come on let's search this place'

The duo walked with caution towards the cave. They looked around once more for any secret guards. Greninja scanned the area but found nothing to their fortune. 'Come on, stay on your guard!' Ash whispered and walked into the cave with Greninja next to him.

They continued walking for another half an hour before reaching a set of wooden doors that were slightly ajar. Ash and Greninja with great stealth moved over to the door and peaked through the gap. He saw a large man with few grunts beside, they were in a deep conversation which Ash could roughly hear. The words 'Calem' 'Honey blonde girl' and 'Ash Ketchum' were the noticeable words to be heard.

'Did they just say my name?' Ash whispered to no one in particular. He was about to rush in when Greninja stopped him from doing so. 'Master, not now. They are leaving so we can search this room' Greninja pointed out. Ash took a look at the people inside and saw them walk towards another pair of doors on the other side of the room. Once they were certain they were out of ear shot, Ash and Greninja walked into the room.

It was quite large and very spacious, considering it was just a cave. They looked around and mainly saw figures of large shuriken in the middle of a board. There was an arrow sticking out of it leading to the picture of a Greninja. There was another arrow after that which at the end had Ash's face which caught the duo off guard.

'They really want us two, don't they?' Ash said but what shocked him the most was there was a picture of Serena, next to his with Calem, saying 'priority' Ash took a couple of steps back in shock. He then dropped a handkerchief it was the same one as he used in his childhood for Serena. He took notice and was about to pick it up until he heard muffled voices become clearer and louder. Ash and Greninja turned their heads to the door and saw shadow sizes increasing.

'Quick hide!' Ash whispered. Greninja sprung away and hid behind a table while Ash ran over and crouched behind a machine. The duo peeked through and saw the grunts from earlier return and walk towards the board. Ash rummaged through his pocket and realised he didn't pick up the handkerchief, 'oh shit!' Ash cursed himself. He looked towards the floor and saw it lying on the ground before a grunt picked it up.

'Whose is this?' The grunt said examining. 'Give me that!' Xerosic snatched it out of the grunts hand and examined it himself. 'This is that Ketchum boys and his lovers!' He exclaimed and looked alarmed. 'Wait a second, we can use it too track them wherever they go!' One grunt said looking proud.

'Not gonna happen!' Ash shouted and jumped from his cover and stood in a determined stance. Greninja then jumped in front of cover in battle stance. 'Ah Ketchum how nice of you to visit' Xerosic said in intimidating voice. Ash didn't look phased. 'Look just give me back my handkerchief' Ash said edging closer. 'Not unless you come with us..' Xerosic said. Ash didn't reply but stared at Xerosic. For a second he was ready to turn himself in but decided to attack, 'Greninja water shuriken!' Ash commanded.

Greninja clapped his hands and threw two tiny discs at Xerosic knocking him over. Ash saw the handkerchief on the floor and charged at it. 'No! Crobat, steel wing!' A crobat flew into the room and rammed it's wing into Ash's stomach making him lurch backwards. Ash felt a sting on his stomach. He lifted his shirt and saw a slash going from his belly button to his left waist.

'Your gonna pay for this! Greninja, STRONGER STRONGER AND STRONGER, Let'Z go!' Ash shouted. A water vortex engulfed the body of Greninja and rapidly disappeared as it converted into the shuriken that Greninja possessed in the new transformation. 'Yes!' Xerosic shouted like a maniac.

'Greninja water shuriken!' Ash shouted again. Greninja grabbed it off his back and released it towards the helpless grunts who flew all the way across the room after the explosion of the shuriken. Ash lunged in and grabbed the handkerchief. 'Oh no you don't!' Xerosic shouted. He took out a knife and threw it at Ash.

'Lucario now!' Ash shouted and closed his eyes. He could feel the gravity loosen but felt a striking pain in his knee. After a few seconds Ash's surroundings changed into a forest. It was the latter stages of the evening as red skies loomed over the island. Ash got up but fell back down due to the pain in his left knee. He looked down and saw the knife sticking out of his knee with blood stains at the tip. Ash looked around and saw Greninja on the ground having a little rest.

'Oww! Greninja help!' Ash screamed in pain as he attempted to take out the knife but failed. Greninja then got up and walked over to Ash. He pulled the knife out of Ash with ease but the inflicted pain made Ash roll around in agony and desperation. 'Lucario take me too a Pokémon Centre!' Ash screamed in pain but felt weight decrease as he travelled in teleportation.

Meanwhile with Serena;

'Thanks Calem but I can stay alone for a while' Serena said and shut her hotel room door in his face. She then rolled down of the door and sat down on the floor with Pikachu in her arms. 'Phew we are finally away from him!' Serena said looking at Pikachu, who sweat dropped. Serena then walked upstairs to her room and sat down. She looked at the clock which read the time: 9:36pm. 'Ash said he would be late.. well it's just you and me Pikachu!' Serena said happily.

The duo sat around the TV and watched some old performances and some previous battles of Ash during his early days of being a Pokémon trainer. They watched for another hour before Clemont and Bonnie called up.

'Hey Serena, we are at the main building and will be staying their tonight, Clemont got asked by Sycamore to do so' Bonnie explained through the phone.

'Okay Bonnie, see you tomorrow!' Serena said and hung up the phone. She then looked down and saw Pikachu asleep on her lap, 'such a cutie pie like his trainer' Serena said while stroking its fur. She looked at the clock and the time was ten past eleven, so she decided to fall asleep as her eyelids grew heavier by the minute.

'There is the shuriken hotel!' Ash said eagerly as he couldn't wait to get home and rest. He looked down at his watch and whistled at the time which blared in the darkness. 'I hope Serena won't get mad at me' Ash said hopefully and entered the building. It was empty except for the front desk where the lady had seemed to fall asleep.

He continued to walk until he bumped into someone and immediately apologised, 'Sorry, my bad!' Ash said chuckling a little. He looked up and realised it was a brown haired girl. 'Hey its Rachel!' Ash said as he helped her up. He then helped her put her spilled stuff to be put back properly in her bag. 'Thank you!' She smiled and blushed. 'Anytime!' Ash said giving his toothy grin. Ash could see her face edge closer to his as he realised what she was doing. Ash grabbed her shoulders and held her away, 'sorry I have a girlfriend' Ash said proudly and thinking of Serena made him rush off.

He climbed the stairs and rushed along the corridors towards his room and opened it with his spare keys. 'I'm ho..' Ash looked into the living room and spotted Serena sound asleep while the TV blared into the room. Pikachu's ears twitched and he slowly opened his eyes.
'Pika pi!' Pikachu said and ran towards Ash. 'I'm great buddy, how are you?' Ash said looking at the yellow mouse. Pikachu let out a huge yawn making it clear to Ash. 'Someone's sleepy!' Ash said.

He then walked over to Serena's body and gently lifted her bridal style into his arms. He could see her expression turn happy as a smile perched upon her face. 'So cute!' Ash blushed and admired her beauty. He then started ascending the stairs but felt strong grip grasp his chest. He looked down and saw Serena fidgeting. She opened her eyes and locked with his eyes. 'Ash!'

Serena exclaimed and buried her face into his chest. 'Woah calm down Serena! It's okay' Ash said while kissing her cheek. Serena looked back up at him and blushed furiously before closing her eyes. Ash then approached their bed and lay Serena down and the. Pikachu on the pillow. 'Goodnight!' Ash whispered and kissed Serena once more.

Ash was about to walk away but felt Serena grab onto his arm. 'Please don't go!' She said worriedly. 'I'm just getting cha...' Before Ash could finish Serena dragged Ash into bed and instantly cuddled up in his comfort. 'Well okay then.. goodnight' Ash said and slowly patted Serena's back as she let out tiny breathes in her sleep.

'I love you Ash'

'I love you too Serena'
