Ash was up early, he had recalled every event that had gone through his life since he first began. When he first met Pikachu to saving Serena and his father. He was sat in the stadium where the final would take place later today... it was dusk hence the lighting was dim. Pikachu was curled up on his lap while his hat lay beside him. His mind kept casting back to Lysandre because he knew something was brewing behind the scenes. He shook his head and came back to battle thoughts. "I cannot let Lysandre distract me now... I need to win and clear my name today! This trophy has my name written on it" Ash shouted and threw his fist in the air with passion.

There was a door opening in the stands which caused Ash to turn around. He saw his father in a wheel chair perched up on top of the stairs. Ash picked up Pikachu and walked to his father in the stands. "How are you feeling dad?" Ash asked and his dad replied with a weak smile. "All good... just wanted you to know that you have to win today... show me your power" Red said a monotone voice. "Of course! I will show the world that only training reaches you to this level not any drug! I will clear my name..." Ash replied.

"Yes... the power then save it for my friend..." Red said in an evil tone.

"Dad... are you okay?" Ash asked confused with the sudden change in tone.

"Ash you must conserve this power and let him use it! For the greater good" Red said now sitting back in his wheelchair but Ash was confused. "But who are you talking about? And what power?" Ash asked. "Lysandre son... if you lend him your god powers... the world will develop and be more democratic under his leadership... trust me son" Red said but Ash stood away from his father.

"God power? And I will never let Lysandre touch me! Dad what are you saying?" Ash said now in complete disbelief. "You and Greninja have another level... far beyond mine. You are the chosen one!" red said with exclamation. "Yes I've heard that a million times but what's that got to do with anything!" Ash said getting more and more angry. "Since Arceus chose you... he has gifted his powers to you as well! Hence you and your Greninja have unlocked God phenomenon which is very ancient and was only ever done by your ancestor Sir Aaron..." Red explained. But Ash stood there perplexed unable to process what he had just said.

"Ok... but why do you want me to give this to my foe don't you remember the bad shit he has done?" Ash asked looking at his dad but he just sighed, "your are blinded by hatred, you need to see the big picture Ash, your power is something that can be used by everyone for the greater good, so giving it to Lysandre means he will distribute it evenly while he creates a new and fair world!" Red said but Ash was having none of it.

"Bullshit! I am not trusting Lysandre or you! I can't believe you after all we've been through and I even saved you! And your going to stab me in the back!" Ash said and he ran away in tears...

Ash woke up with a sweat all around his body, he looked around and found himself back in his hotel room in peace for once. He looked next to him and saw Serena still asleep with Pikachu cuddled in her arms. He read the clock and it was dusk, so he decided to go out for a breather. He went downstairs in his room to check on his father and saw him fast asleep... "did that dream mean anything?" Ash thought. He went on his balcony and just watched over the island in its peace. There was a breeze but a pleasant one...

"What is God phenomenon?" Ash asked out loud.

"Funny you say that!" A voice behind Ash spoke, he jumped a little and saw Red in his wheelchair behind him. Ash could feel the deja vu except they are not in a stadium this time. "Your great great great great grandfather was the only one his time to inherit that power... and some say these days it's you... well mainly Lysandre but I say it as well" Red said and this caused Ash to smile a little, "Yeah But surely I don't have it if it is so rare!" Ash replied. "You are the chosen one..." Red implied but Ash rolled his eyes.

"Make sure today, you focus on your battle forget about the events recently because this is why you came here... to make your name whole again! Your name is on that trophy son, make sure you show full power and no mercy" Red said and patted Ash before heading back in. This motivated Ash as he went back inside for a quick nap before his big day.

"Good luck Ash!" All of Ash's really friends wished him luck while Serena and Zack waited behind. Once the others had gone they approached Ash, "Ash this is it, you have my love and luck for this fight so make sure you send that camel boy back to the deserts!" Serena said and kissed him on the lips for a few passionate seconds. "Ash, this is where I want to see the old you from your Kalos and Sinnoh days! Impress me once more! Good luck!" Zack said and he dragged Serena to the stands.

"Don't you worry guys I will never disappoint you guys ever" Ash mumbled and he entered his little pre match room. Ash did nothing but sit for the whole final ceremony, he sat in silence trying not to get emotional and trying to forget about any person hatred for Calem which may cause distraction. He stared at the ground while his Pokemon all sat close to him. Ash looked at all of them, "Pikachu, Greninja, Lucario and of course Dialga, we have come this far and its all thanks to your guys fight and spirit! So one last time let's give it all we've got and bring home another trophy!" Ash said and his Pokemon were fired up.

The drug tester then entered the room and checked each pokeball with more detail for any form of enhancement in their performance,"all good! All clean so good luck!" The man said and he walked out of the room leaving Ash alone once more. Ash could then hear the announcer bellow out that Calem and himself were clean for the fight and it would soon begin. He returned his Pokemon bar Pikachu. "Dialga I will not use you... I want to make sure I win without the help of a legendary" Ash spoke to the master ball and he stepped up on a podium which raised him to the field.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN please welcome the two finalists this evening! The event you have all been waiting for! CALEM AND ASH!" Huge cheers erupted from the crowds and Ash was loving it and so was Calem both with their cocky grins, they stepped out of their podium and onto their battle stations.

"Due to recent change in rules, all makers of the event have concluded that today's final will be a 3v3 battle! Is that understood between the both of you?" The ref asked, Ash and Calem nodded but they just gave each other death stares. "Good! Now please make sure this is a clean battle and no offensive language or abuse to me or each other will be tolerate and will be resulted in disqualification. Thus keep your heads, I am in charge remember that" The ref spoke but the two trainers wouldn't take their eyes of each other.

"Well this it ladies and gentlemen... the show will begin now!"

"Gents release your Pokemon!" The ref shouted.

"Raichu I choose you!" Calem shouted.

"Amateur"

"Say that again Ketchum!"

Time to say Alola to my little friend" Ash said smirking. He gave a small kick on Pikachu's body. The mouse Pokémon sat up yawning and looked at the Raichu in front of him. Pikachu yawned again but stood up and walked to the battlefield.

In the crowd

"No way is Pikachu going to win this battle!" Dawn stated said.

"Yeah I have to agree, Raichu is the evolved form so he must have the advantage." Brock added. All the traitors in their mind were begging Ash would lose this battle horrifically. "I can't believe his weak Pikachu still hasn't evolved just shows how much he has achieved as a trainer!" May said cashing everyone to laugh.

"Ash will one shot this Raichu, you all owe me 5 Poke coins if I am right" Clemont said smirking.

"Clemont you seem way to confident, for a failed inventor?" Dawn said looking at the Clemont.

"Oh, just get your money ready" Clemont said and he focused back on the battle. This caused Serena and the others to laugh back at the traitors

Back with Ash

"Well Pikachu, this will hurt me but who cares. It's fun seeing the surprised looks, also it takes my strengths too new limits so we have to do it!" Ash said, without knowing he communicated through aura.

"Pikachu finish this with Giga Havoc Volt!" Has smacked his wrist and next thing he knew both Pikachu and him were covered in electricity. Calem and the whole audience including the passing Wingulls watched in amazement at the sight.

"Release it!"

The volts flew across the field and literally shocked the Raichu. He never felt the pain of electricity even though he was basically one. It growled in agony and fell to the ground unconscious.

"Raichu is unable to battle, Ash wins the first round." The ref spoke.

"No way am I losing this! Not to this loser. Greninja your time to shine!" Calem shouted and released another pokeball. That's when the Kalos water type emerged.

In the crowd

"Well guys, 5 dollars please!" Clemont said turning around to the haters who just ignored him causing Ash's group of friends to laugh. "This is why you never underestimate Ash sis!" Max said winking at May who looked enraged but Drew held her back from confronting Max.

"Guys, Ash looks strong! I'm so proud!" Serena commented as she clutched her ribbon.

"I feel the same Serena! That's my boy!" Red said with the proud dad look.

With Ash

"Eh still an amateur" Ash said.

This was getting Calem even more mad. His face was turning red in anger and all his muscles were tightly clenched. Ash somehow had the vision to see his aura and saw that his mind was twisted with anger.

"Perfect," Ash thought, "Pikachu return, Lucario I choose you!" He shouted.

"Lucario use close combat!"

Lucario sped towards the Greninja however the water type jumped up dodging the move. Ash quickly thought for more strategies, he saw the movement of Calem's Greninja and analysed it.

"That's it! Lucario run up the tree and then use bone rush!" Ash shouted.

Lucario followed the instructions and ran up the nearest tree and was now holding a large bone like sword and jumped towards the Greninja from above.

"Greninja water gun!" Calem shouted.

The move hit Lucario and pushed it away from itself and this caused Ash to think long and hard. "He will not let me get close so I have to tire it out first then get close!" Ash thought of an idea.

"Use aura, to see the energy levels of Greninja and use quick attack to tire it out!" Ash's eyes glowed dark blue. Lucario's eyes turned blue as well and it ran rings around Greninja, "greninja chase it and use water shuriken!" Calem replied and Ash smiled. Lucario was faster than Greninja by miles and hence Greninja used more energy in order to catch Lucario. However to Ash's surprise it did and got the shuriken off. Ash analysed the attacks power but it was weak due to the energy consumed in the chase.

"Not enough camel boy! Lucario turn and use close combat!" Ash shouted.

"Dodge it!"

But Greninja failed as it was too tired and Lucario started to beat the hell out of the tired Greninja. It was like a one sided boxing fight and an uppercut to the jaw of a Greninja sent it flying into the stadium walls and knocked it out cold.

"Greninja is unable to battle, Ash wins the second round!"

"Lucario return, that was excellent my friend and you deserve a good rest... but now it's time for the big gun," Ash said and grabbed a pokeball. Calem once again returned his Greninja in shame and anger. He looked at Ash and was so tempted to attack him but he kept his head... he could not afford to look like a fool. "Well Ketchum I'm surprised you have so far cleaned me but I'm not letting your filthy hands touch that trophy because you are a druggy!" Calem shouted.

"Ah Calem... it's a shame because once I win its over for you and your career and your plans to eradicate me! Just get your third one out so I can destroy it" Ash shouted back.

"Fine then! Charizard lets make this lit!" Calem shouted.

"Gekkouga!" Ash's eyes went blue and his voice deeper. Everyone around became shocked at the sudden change in atmosphere. Dark clouds rolled over them almost like a storm was brewing.

Then there was a loud crack and a figure appeared in front of Ash.

"We are one!" Ash said.

(Note - it is already in Ash Greninja form)

"Kouga!" Ash-Greninja said. It opened its eyes and stared at the Charizard. Then dark clouds were now getting thicker and more active. A water tornado came crashing down on Greninja and Ash and a lot of thunder strikes began to happen. Everyone in the audience were confused as to what they were seeing but Red knew what it was...

The little weather show lasted a few minutes but once the clouds and thunders disappeared it revealed Ash-Greninja however with characteristics of Arceus. The rings were on the back of Greninja instead of a shuriken and Greninja's tongue had gone and formed a white foam around his neck like frubbles.

"Battle begin!"

"Mizu Shuriken!" Ash shouted, his Greninja formed a large shuriken from its hands and threw it at the helpless Charizard who was taken out with the one move. Most of the audience were in awe as they had never seen a Pokemon like this ever before. They had only heard myths and legends of Sir Aaron and how his predecessor still roams the world. They all cast their eyes on Ash and his body was glowing blue and his eyes were white like in a trance.

Charizard was returned by Calem who was also staring at Ash in awe and knew why Lysandre wanted him so bad...

"C-charizard is unable to battle which means Ash wins the third round; and as a result he has became the battle royal champion!" The announcer shouted and the place erupted in cheers and fireworks were set off into the sky. Greninja and Ash returned to their normal forms and both fell on their bottoms panting heavily.

"So that was god phenomenon..." Ash said looking at Greninja who stared back at him.

In the crowd

"OMG! Ash won! I'm so happy! He's now a Pokemon Master as well!" Bonnie squealed with excitement as did everyone else but for the traitors who seemed to leave earlier than expected.

"Wow I can't believe it! Ash did it... his name will finally become clear of those stupid allegations! And he trashed on Calem as well to make it even better!" Max said. Serena was just to busy staring at Ash with tears in her eyes, "Oh Ash... I'm so proud!" Serena said in her head as she wiped away her tears.

With Ash

"Well Pikachu lets get that trophy..." Ash said but little did he know, darkness awaits during this delightful time...

Chapter 36: War Part 1:
The plan of Lysandre begins...

Sorry about another long delay, had a lot of exams and other work come in the way for too long - also went on a holiday where there was zero WiFi. Anyway I have vacations now so look out for more regular uploads! Sorry once again! Hopefully this 3000 word chapter makes up for it XD...
