"Ash" Serena said almost in tears. She had both her hands clasped by her chest as she looked on in the direction of where Ash's body disappeared. Why did he go? Everyone was thinking. Pikachu was looking sad and sat down in the corner. Miette tried assuring Pikachu it was going to be fine but It didn't work. Serena then walked over to Pikachu and he instantly jumped in her arms.

"Looks like Pikachu is a fan of you, Serena" Calem said looking at Pikachu.

"Yeah, he's the cutest thing ever" Serena said as she stroked Pikachu, who returned with coos of appreciation. Miette looked over in jealousy.

"Why didn't you come in my arms" Miette pouted.

"Pikachu pika pi Pika" Pikachu explained. Miette looked in confusion.

"I think he said, he feels comfortable with Serena only and feels safe  with her" Calem said explaining to Miette.

"Pika" Pikachu nodded.

"Aww thanks Pikachu" Serena said after his compliment. Pikachu gave a smile and a thumbs up. Miette just looked in jealousy.

"Ash will be mine" Miette whispered in Serena's ear. Serena looked in shock but later shrugged it off.

"Well let's go search for Ash, he could get hurt" Serena said. The duo which were with her agreed and soon left the cave in search of Ash.

The others were all together after their separation from; Ash,Serena,Calem and Miette.

"Let's go search for them the storm ain't that fast" Gary said eager to get out of the cave they had taken refuge in.

"Yeah, this cave has bugs, so lets get searching" Misty said looking at the bug type in front of her. They all nodded and headed out the cave.

"It's sooo cold" Dawn said as she shivered. Paul offered his coat.

"But you'll get cold" Dawn said contemplating with his decision.

"Trust me I've been through worse " Paul said. Dawn gratefully accepted his coat.

"Hey look it's Serena, Calem and Miette" Tierno and Bonnie said squinting their eyes and pointing forward.

"Hey guys" Serena said as she approached the rest of the group with her compatriots.

"Oh hi, where's Ash" Paul asked.

"He and Greninja suddenly ran out and surprisingly Pikachu was left behind. I heard him shout before it's too late so he could be in danger so we need to search for him" Serena explained and demanded. They all nodded and headed forward in search of any signs or footsteps revealimg Ash's whereabouts.

"Hey look that looks like Pokémon tracks" Gary said as he pointed to the footprints on the snowy ground.

"They might be Greninja's, let's follow it" Calem said. They all followed the tracks of Greninja's footprints.

"Hey look, those Spewpa's are stuck upon the ledge of the tree. Let's get it down" Ash pointed at the 10 Spewpa's huddled together in fear on the ledge. Ash started climbing the tree as fast as he could not wanting to waste time. He grabbed the first Spewpa and slowly slid back down. He passed it over to Greninja who placed him to the side away from the ledge of the cliff.

"One down, nine to go" Ash said, as he twisted his cap backwards. He then started climbing the tree again. He grabbed the second one and slowly made his way down.

"That's 2 now, come on we got this" Ash said with determination as he scurried to the top of the tree.

"How far has he gone" Gary complained.

"Come on he's the best person we have so we can't give up, like Serena says don't give up till the end" Calem said.

"Well it was Ash who actually taught me that phrase, and ever since I've been following it" Serena said.

"Hey can someone hear voices" Trevor said.

"Oh yeah, listen closely" Misty said. The group became silent and waited for a voice to speak.

"One more down, one to go. Hang on" It was Ash's voice.

"It's Ash" Serena exclaimed and rushed towards the voice. Everyone else soon ran in the direction Serena ran.

Ash was at the ledge of the tree now, reaching for the last Spewpa.

"Grab my hand and you'll be safe, c'mon" Ash said as he reached out.

"Ash!" Everyone shouted. Ash ignored the calls as he focused on saving Spewpa.

"C'mon grab my hand, quick." Ash was in a hurry as he could see the branch starting to get cracks. The Spewpa jumped into Ash's arm.

"There we go, see now your... AHHHH" Ash screamed as the branch snapped and sent the duo flying towards the ground.

"ASHHH!" Everyone screamed. Greninja acted quickly and launched out his tongue like scarf, which grappled onto Ash which stopped him in mid air.

"Greninja! Thanks" Ash said as he was lowered back to the ground to everyones relief. A heavy gust of wind blew through the air increasing the speed of the snow. Ash lost his grip of Spewpa which sent it tumbling down once more.

"Hey!" Ash shouted as everyone looked in horror. Then Greninja jumped off enveloped in water.

"We must save it.. Together we can" Ash shouted. Greninja lost the water around him and was in a new transformation. A giant water shuriken became visible on his back.

"Awesome" Gary, Calem and Trevor looked on at the scene. Greninja grabbed the Spewpa and started running on the side of the walls.

"On the right dodge the branch" Ash commanded as he could see from Greninja's perspective which surprised everyone else.

"There is more, jump and avoid them" Ash commanded. Greninja dodged all the hanging ledges with ease and speed.

"Incredible, he can see from Greninja's view" Clemont said as he heard the commands.

"It's like they are one" Brock mentioned.

"Slow down your speed when I say... Now" Ash said. Greninja reduced his speed and grabbed onto a tree doing a front flip and landing on the ground safely.

"Yeah! We did it!" Ash said as he and Greninja, in sync, threw their arms in joy.

"That was incredible, he needs to teach me" Calem said drooping at the scene which occurred.

"Me too" Gary said.

"Oh that's easy,  it was sooo boring" Tierno said.

"Suuuuureeeeee, let's see you do it with your Pokémon." Paul said. Tierno just looked away im frustration. The group chuckled at his arrogance.

Greninja returned back to the top of the cliff and gave Spewpa to Ash.

"There you go, now you're safe and sound" Ash said as he placed the Spewpa with the other 9, who chirped in happiness. Serena walked up to Ash along with the rest of the group.

"Why didn't you tell us you were leaving" Serena asked annoyed.

"Sorry they were in danger and I sensed it was going to be close because of the weather" Ash explained.

"Well atleast you're safe" Miette said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Lets hang out in a cave and let the storm die down. Then we will set off to Coumarine." Ash said as he headed in the direction of the cave. Serena joined him and grasped his hands.

"Huh?" Ash asked.

"Remember you allowed me and you're to reckless" Serena explained to his Ash.

"Oh okay" Ash sweatdropped. Everyone smiled except Miette and Tierno who looked in jealousy. They reached the cave and the group instantly fell asleep. Serena fell asleep on Ash's lap, her head resting on his lap. Ash stroked her hair as she was sleeping. Maybe soon I should tell her, Ash thought as he stroked her hair. He was the only one awake as he did not want to sleep.

It had been 2 hours and the gang but for Ash were still asleep. Ash looked outside the cave from his sitting position so he would not wake Serena up. He had tried moving but her grip tightened each time. The snow had stopped falling and a small mist was still visible outside. He shook Serena up.

"Hey Serena, time to get up" Ash whispered. Serena groaned and opened her eyes. She sat up right but was still sleepy so she rested her head on Ash's shoulder.

"Everyone still asleep, so how was your sleep" Serena asked.

"Oh I didn't sleep. I was awake the whole time" Ash said. Serena looked confused.

"You need to rest Ash, you did to much today take rest" Serena said.

"Na it's fine, we have to leave now anyway, the snow has stopped but there is a bit of fog" Ash replied. The rest of the group woke up from the voices.

"Hey guys, have a good sleep" Dawn said as she let out a huge yawn, as did Bonnie. Everyone nodded groggily in response.

"Well we have to get to Coumarine fast, snow has stopped and I've seen Rocket Members scouting this area" Ash said.

"Well let's get going" May said. Everyone got up and gathered their stuff. Ash was the last one and looked to be in a deep trance.

"Ahhh, the cocoon of Yvelta. It will soon be unleashed as well as the other weapons we have against our foes." Giovanni said.

"Yes and I certainly will help and I have a few comrades for you as well" A dark ghostly like figure said. It was a darkrai. It pointed at the rare Pokémon, Genesect but it had red eyes.

"Excellent, Ketchum has no chance against the power of Team Rocket. That fool!" Giovanni said.

"Honey do you think Ash has a chance" Delia said holding Giovanni's hand.

"No my dear no chance" Giovanni said as now Ash could feel his eyes staring coldly at him. Ash could hear whispers of his name and saw Giovanni lash out at him before he returned to his senses.

"Ash you alright, your eyes went red and you looked cold" Misty said.

"Yeah your face had an evil face. It was scary" Bonnie said.

"Oh don't worry I'm fine it's just that I haven't slept." Ash said the group bought the lie but Serena. I'm becoming like him, Ash thought as he took in Bonnie's comments.

"Ash what happened" Serena whispered.

"I'll tell you in Coumarine, right now let's get there first" Ash whispered back. Serena nodded.

The group took another hour to reach the outskirts of Coumarine.

"Well let's take refuge at the house over there" Ash said as he pointed at, what looked like an abandoned house.

"It's scary looking" all the females shivered.

"It's better than nothing" Ash said. Everyone nodded and Serena grasped onto Ash as they headed to the house.
