The group had managed to reach their base without being tracked by Rocket members after Ash had a rather fiery encounter with Lysandre. No one talked. They were all wanting to know who said the death threat to Ash. They were filled with questions. Ash knew of this and knew he had to tell the truth.

They had reached the base and were about to drop Ash to the medical center.

"I don't need to go, Greninja does so take him" Ash said handing over the Pokéball to Gary.

"Your seriously hurt though" Serena said indicating that he had blood streaming down his hand.

"It's fine, a first aid kit would do" Ash said. Serena tossed over the kit and Ash started repairing the injuries.

"Ahh well I see you guys are back, did you find any information?" Oak said as he walked in.

"Yes we took information from their computer room" Clemont said.

"Ahh well done, oh what happened to you dear boy" Oak said to Ash.

"Ran into trouble" Ash said quietly, remembering exactly what happened.

"Well tell us then" Calem demanded.

"Okay fine" Ash said gritting his teeth. Serena grabbed his arm trying to comfort him, and did.

Ash explained everything until he got to the point where he had his battle and a bitter reunion with a enemy.

"I had to rush down there, it was Giovanni and his wife" Ash said whispering the last word.

"The boss of Team Rocket, he's powerful why would you chase him" Calem said.

"He was my father" Ash said covering his eyes with his hat.

"He WHATTT!!!" Everyone but Serena and Oak screamed.

"He was my bloody father, yes." Ash said angrily but again Serena held his arm.

"You were a part of Team rocket" Calem gasped.

"Don't you ever fucking say that or I'll make your balls numb" Ash said with a harsh tone.

"So his wife was your mother" May said sadly. Ash nodded in response.

"I battled Giovanni's side bitch, Lysandre. Greninja and I sort of synchronised. We were in the driving seat until he pulled out a second Pokémon and knocked Greninja out and put me in the state." Ash said with no emotion.

"That's not fair, he can't do that" Dawn said. Ash ignored the comment.

"If only I was stronger, I could have improved Greninja's skills." Ash said with a sad tone.

"Don't blame yourself, you tried your upmost" Serena said comforting Ash. Calem cringed at the scene. As did Miette.

Ash was debating to tell them about the voice he heard and some special powers he had; aura sphere and hyper beam. He rested the case and decided it should be told another day.

"What happened before, in your past" Gary asked.

"Well I came home after I said Goodbye to Serena. Thats when I heard my mom talking with someone. I ignored it and went up. After few minutes their voice were loud so I went and eavesdropped. I heard my mother flirting with Giovanni. They planned to take out Kanto because Arceus was present at the time. Giovanni came a few minutes later. He gave me the chance to join him but I declined and he flipped. I was attacked by his persian. So I ran from my home." Ash finished explaining his past. Everyone felt bad for Ash.

"Don't worry Ash, we are here for you till the end" Bonnie said in her sweet voice. Everyone nodded but Calem. Ash had suspicions on Calem. Ash shrugged off and thanked the group for their support.

"How do you teleport and stuff" Brock enquired to Ash.

"Ummm I don't know, it sounds fake but I don't know if you'll believe me" Ash said.

"Come on pretty please" Serena said pleadingly.

"Okay fine"

Flashback

"Master I can sense a moving thing up ahead. It seems big" Greninja said.

"It could just be the blizzard kicking in" Ash said but thats when he noticed Rocket Grunts at the other end of the Mountain. They placed an explosive at the entrance of a cave. It exploded revealing a jewel and writing on the wall. It read:

The last Jewel of the creator. I, Damos have preserved the last Jewel of Arceus from the great himself. If it is in Arceus' possession he will bring death to all...

"So this the Jewel, which was never returned to Arceus" Giovanni said.

"This will certainly help us rule the world, boss. The jewel of life" A grunt said.

"Yes, that's why we have come here. To take it" Giovanni said. Giovanni walked over to the Jewel and was about to pick it up until the ground started shaking. It caused havoc around the area, Pokémon were fleeing the sight and the humans braced themselves on the floor. A white presence came floating down from the sky. It was Arceus.

"So you humans fell for the trap, This Jewel was preserved by me" Arceus said.

"Well you can't retrieve it, A certain Damos put a barrier where no Pokémon could touch it. But I ain't no Pokémon." Giovanni said with an evil grin.

"Filthy humans. Grrrr they should never be trusted." Arceus raged and hit the group with a dracometeor. Giovanni attempted to grab the Jewel but missed. The impact of the attack caused it to evade everyone and tumble down the mountain.

"Grab it" Giovanni shouted. A grunt managed to grab it and the rocket gang evacuated immediately. Arceus was in rage and shot multiple attacks. They were all successful and the grunts grasp wasn't tight enough and sent the jewel out of sight down the mountain.

"God dammit, we'll have to revert to Plan A, lets move out!" Giovanni commanded as his team retreated back in their ship.

"Oh no the Jewel" Ash exclaimed and jumped off the cliff and soared towards the Jewel. He managed to grab it but was still tumbling towards the ground. He stopped abruptly in mid air. He was confused but saw Arceus staring at him coldly.

"So another human attempts to steal my precious" Arceus said in a cold tone.

"No no no, I would never do that, I'll give it back to you" Ash said pleading innocence.

"Thats what Damos said but that fool betrayed me. How can I trust humans. There are no nice humans." Arceus replied harshly.

"Yes there are some, the people earlier are bad, I know that. I despise them. They betrayed me." Ash said looking down.

"I know how you felt Arceus, you have to believe me. Trust me I'm not bad. You want this Jewel then take it." Ash said putting forward his hand with the jewel place on it.

Arceus looked amazed. No humans would have done that. He noticed this boy had a good aura. He knew he could trust him. He brought him back to the cliff where Ash was greeted happily by his Pokémon.

"I'm fine guys, don't worry" Ash said hugging them. Arceus looked at the scene and knew this was a human he could trust.

"Here, take it back" Ash held out the Jewel, which Arceus took.

"I will forever remember you.." Arceus said wanting to know his name.

"Ash Ketchum" Ash replied

"You will be in my memory until it lasts, Ash Ketchum. I will also be with you and guide you along your ways. If ever in doubt, call upon me using the Jewel." He handed back the Jewel of Life.

"Are you sure" Ash said overwhelmed.

"Yes and it will give some of the powers I posses. Stay well and keep your Pokémon in great shape. Especially your Greninja. It will help in the future. For now I bid you farewell" Arceus headed towards the sky and disappeared in thin air.

"Wow. I have the Jewel of life" Ash said.

(Btw it's my own interpretation of the Jewel of Life saga)

End of Flashback

"Wow so you were the boy who saved the world from destruction" Miette said amazed.

"You also share the Jewel of Life with the god of the world" Gary said.

"Can you show us" Dawn said. Ash pulled out the green sphere out of his coat pocket. Everyone went wide eyed.

"You have definitely earned my respect" Brock said. Everyone agreed. They all chatted with each other mainly about Ash's story. They were lucky to be with him at the moment. Calem also now respected Ash and decided to let Serena be.

"So guys what now" Calem said.

"Well I'm headed to Sinnoh" Ash said.

"Huh? All of a sudden" Serena said.

"You can come if you want, well Oak can decide" Ash said. Everyone turned to Oak hoping they would allow.

"Okay fine, make sure to stay safe" Oak said. Everyone screamed in joy.

"Hey Ash can I talk in private" Calem said. Ash became suspicious.

"Yeah sure" Ash said. They left the room without anyone noticing.

"So what is it" Ash said calmly.

"Well it's that before, I never liked you because you were taking Serena away from me but then I realised that you aren't a bad person after your story. So I knew Serena would be happier with you." Calem said

"Wow that's kind of you, I'm glad we can get along."

"Also I want to become stronger, so could you teach me." Calem said

"Yeah sure" Ash said happily.

"Thanks!"

"No problem" Ash said. They both walked back in and continued chatting.

"Maybe these are the people I can trust" Ash thought.
