Palkia was soaring through the skies with great speed and purpose. It was blasting anything in its way as it set out for its task that was assigned to him by Giovanni.

"Remember, only harm the boy no one else" Mewtwo said through telepathy. Palkia let out a small growl asking why. "Because that boy has power of destruction. He will go rogue if you harm anyone else. Mainly that girl with the pink hat" Mewtwo said. Palkia gave a low growl but wasn't listening. It continued to speed into it's foes direction showing no mercy.

It slowed its pace when it saw the submarine enter the depths of the Sinnoh oceans. "We will tell you when to attack, for now get in close and report any info you get from them. Is that clear?" Mewtwo said firmly. Palkia let out a loud battle cry before swooping low to sea levels.

"There will be an island about an hour away from us. We will rest up there before we head out the next day" Red said. Everyone nodded in response and sat down in available seats.

"Red, are you sure this is going to be safe?" Blue asked. "I cannot guarantee if it's going to be safe or not. But it's the only option we have" Red said in response. Blue sighed and sat down in her seat with the others.

Suddenly they heard a large howl which made them freeze even though they were sitting down.

"What was that?" Bonnie said hugging onto Clemont filled with fear. "I don't know but that thing sounded very big" Calem said. "Brother help me!" Bonnie said very scared.

"Way to go Calem you made her scared now" May said. She was patting the blonde girls back to comfort her which did the trick. Bonnie had calmed down and had let go of her brother. Clemont mouthed a thank you which May gave a slight nod indicating it was no problem.

"Don't worry guys it must be one of the wailords that live in this sea. So no need to panic" Paul said looking out of the window. Everyone else looked and saw a Wailord pass their submarine. It took no interest in the group and soon disappeared in the abyss ahead.

Soon the submarine started to move and everyone started talking with each other as they couldn't hold their excitement of being in a submarine.

"Is this your first time in a submarine?" Serena asked Kaylin who was sitting on her lap. "Yes, its so cool!" Kaylin said as she looked out the window and saw water Pokémon rush along ahead. Serena giggled at the little girls reaction as it reminded her of her memories when she was a kid.

Flashback

"Wow mommy, so many Pokémon" A young Serena said with her face pressed up against a large tank. Inside the tank was some horseas and Goldeens swimming around having a fun time together.

"Oh Serena don't get too close you might scare the Pokémon away" Serena's mother said making Serena not press up against the glass of the tank.

"Oh don't worry mommy. The Pokémon love me you see" Serena said running down to another water tank which had buizels inhabited in that area.

"What Pokémon is that?" Serena said pointing at the Buizels and Floatzels. "Honey those or Buizels and the one with the scarf is a Floatzel" Her mother explained to her. "They are so cute. I want one when I get older" Serena said with joy.

"Don't worry you will get one I am sure" Serena's mother said holding Serena's shoulder to comfort they young girl.

End of Flashback

Serena ended her flashback as she found Kaylin asleep on her lap, giving out tiny snores in her sleep. "I wish my mom had time to meet me" Serena thought. Serena then looked out the window having a couple more flashbacks of her time with her mother, Grace, in her childhood.

Serena felt a tap on her shoulder and shifted her head and saw Ash. "Are you okay, you haven't spoken in a while" Ash said with a concerned tone. "Oh nothing just remembering my mom and the time we spent together" Serena explained. "Oh I see" Ash replied. He then felt Serena rest her head on his shoulder and fall asleep. Ash pulled out a blanket from next to him and put it over Serena and Kaylin.

When he finished putting the blanket, he felt pain exerting out of his chest. It gradually increased and the pain showed across his face with painful expressions. "Pikachu I can't move" Ash said but when he opened his eyes no one was there. He was alone on the submarine. No Pokémon was visible swimming outside.

"What's going on?" Ash said out loud but silence was the response. Once again a sharp pain engulfed his chest. This time it was uncontrollable. The pain increased faster and faster leaving Ash on the ground. He looked up and saw a pink aura flying around him and the ship. Suddenly without any command the submarine aroused from the depths of the sea and onto the sea bed. Ash looked through all windows. He was in the middle of nowhere.

"Hello anyone here?" Ash called out getting up. "Pikachu, Serena?, Greninja? Anyone?" Ash said but no response came. He went up the ladder and opened the hatch of the submarine. He got out and rested on the roof of the submarine. The pink aura disappeared and no one was around.

Ash felt the pain ease its way back into his chest. He looked down and saw Pink aura coming from his chest. He fell to his knees. Pain was more than before. He couldn't handle it. He looked up and saw a Palkia floating in the air above him.

"A Palkia? What is it doing here?" Ash thought in his mind. Palkia threw it's arms forward. A pink boomerang shape hurtled its way to Ash. Ash jumped out the way. It hit the submarine causing an explosion to happen. The force knocked Ash into the ocean. A piece of the submarine hit Ash on the head making his vision go blurry. He swam back to the sea bed with the energy left in him. He rested on the ruins of the submarine for support. "Why is it attacking me" Ash thought. He then saw another one of the pink boomerangs heading for him. He closed his eyes and held onto the piece of wreckage with fear. He did not feel any contact which surprised him. He opened his eyes and saw that time had frozen. Nothing moved but Ash.

Suddenly reality came back but the pink boomerang headed towards the other direction. Palkia dodged it with an inch to spare. Ash felt pain again but not as much as before. He looked down to his chest and saw blue aura exerting out of his body.

A blue portal opened up in the sky and a Dialga sped out of it. It soared and hovered in front of Ash. I've responded to your call. What help do you need?" Dialga said to Ash through telepathy. "My call?" Ash said. "Yes that's the reason I am here" Dialga replied. Palkia had no patience and sent a spacial rend towards Dialga. The legendary jumped out the way of the attack which hit the ocean causing tiny tidal waves.

"Get on my back" Dialga said as it hovered near Ash. Ash climbed onto its back and felt air rush on him as Dialga ascended to the skies. It let out a roar of time which hit Palkia and sent it flying down into the wreckage. Dialga swooped in low ready to use Dragon Claw but Palkia came out with its claws. It dodged Dialga and swiped at it but missed and instead scratched Ash's wrist making a huge scratch down his arm. Ash screamed in agony and pain as the wound stretched from his wrist to his elbow.

He then felt gravity increasing and saw Dialga and him hurtling down to the ocean bed. Ash closed his eyes waiting for any impact.

"Ahhhh" Ash gasped and opened his eyes. He looked around and saw everyone else sound asleep. He looked beside him and was relieved to see his Serena, Kaylin, Pikachu and Greninja all asleep and unharmed. Ash slowly put Serena upright so she wouldn't rest on his shoulder. He got up but sat down in pain as he felt pain sour through his right arm.

He looked down at his arm and saw a huge scar going towards his elbow from his wrist. "No way. I thought it was a dream" Ash said out loud. "Thought what was a dream?" A man asked. Ash looked up and saw Red hovering over him. "Come to the front, we need to talk" Red said. Ash nodded and got up. He followed Red to the front of the submarine. Only Blue was at the front. She got up and offered Ash a seat. Ash gladly accepted and sat down.

"I watched how you slept. You looked really.. Well... Horrified" Red said. Ash just looked down remembering his 'dream'. "What happened Ash?" Red asked. Ash revealed everything he saw in the vision. "Then Palkia scratched me on my arm and the next thing I knew we had hit the sea bed" Ash said. "Interesting dream to say the least. I need to research" Red said. "Well I'm not sure if it is a dream" Ash said. Red turned back to him with a surprised expression. "Oh nothing" Ash said quickly hiding his wounded arm. Red saw the movement and gave a quick glance and spotted the scratch mark on his arm.

"Very well, you may go back and now take some water and then rest" Red said. He examined Ash as he left the room. He did not walk and act the same as before. He kept glancing at his arm trying to find an answer but was left empty handed. He turned back and started to control the submarine before heading into a room.

Ash made his way back to his seat and sat down. Serena and Kaylin were fast asleep. His Pokémon were awake but Ash did not notice. Ash kept looking at his wounded arm with a hint of pain. "I haven't felt this kind of pain in a long time" Ash said. He remembered the bit when Palkia scratched him. During that he saw Palkia's eyes. They were a light shade of red. "Red eyes, red eyes.. Giovanni!" Ash said in his mind. He then saw two figures coming towards him. He quickly hid his arm away to hide the wound.

"Master are you okay?" Greninja said. "Yes yes I am totally fine" Ash said trying to hide his arm. Greninja and Pikachu took notice but decided not to ask as they thought of a better plan.

"Pika pi?" Pikachu whispered to Greninja. "Yes we will ask his father first before we suspect him and put him in pressure" Greninja said. Pikachu nodded in response. The mouse then ran and sat down on Ash's lap. Ash stroked its ears earning few coos and cha's from the Pokémon.

Serena was woken up by the noise and saw Ash and Pikachu having a bonding time together. "Hey Ash" Serena said kissing his cheek. "Oh hey Serena, have a good sleep?" Ash asked. "Yes it was nice what about you?" Serena said resting her head on his shoulder. "Yeah.. It was great" Ash lied.

"Wake up everyone we have arrived at our checkpoint. So get ready to exit the submarine in 5 minutes" Blue shouted. Everyone woke up and started chatting with each other.

Blue went to the room where Red had gone into. "Red we have arrived" Blue said knocking on the locked door. "You guys go I'll join you in a bit" Red shouted back. "Okay" Blue replied.

The submarine came to a halt on the shores of the island. Blue lifted the hatch and everyone exited in single file. Ash was the last one to get out of the ship. "Where's dad?" Ash asked. "Oh he's coming in a bit don't worry" Blue replied. Ash nodded and headed in the direction of Serena and Kaylin along with his two Pokémon.

"Blue and Pink aura. Palkia is set to be pink in colour and Dialga blue. The scratch on his arm" Red was mumbling to himself trying to get an answer. He paced around the room showing no patience to this mystery.

"Came when the aura appeared. Thats it!" Red shouted and headed out of the submarine.
