Hello guys,

Sorry for the false alarm, but this isn't an update.

First of all, I'd like to thank you all for still taking the time to read, vote, and comment on this fic despite it being neglected for months now. I really appreciate it and it warms my heart.

Second, I've been struggling to write for this story for ages now and, as of late, have tried to go over it again in an attempt to rekindle inspiration, but that didn't prove to be the smartest of decisions cuz all I ended up finding is cringeworthy writing that made my skin crawl.🥲

There's simply so much that I'm not happy with and proud of, and as a result, I will be unpublishing it in the next few days for editing. I'm aware that because we constantly improve, it's an unhealthy and never-ending cycle to keep looking back at older stuff and wanting to raise it to our current standards, but knowing myself, I'll never be able to move forward with this until all of it is fixed and satisfying to me (current me at least cuz lord knows future me will still find things to complain about).

There won't be any groundbreaking changes to the plot itself, only tweaks to some details and some very questionable stylistic choices.😂

I'll start publishing chapters again once they're edited, likely 1 or 2 at a time, depending on how fast I work through them. I won't spam your notifications with tons of updates, so if you'd like to keep this in your library still for when it's up again, you don't have to worry about that.

If you were in the process of reading this for the first time, then I'm sorry. I hope to see you around in the future when it's made available again.
