It's You!
Author's note: Alrighty then ladies and gentlemen, we are officially all caught up and ready to continue on with the story! Now, before we begin I would like to clarify a few things.
1. I will not be establishing an upload schedule. My personal schedule is already pretty loaded as it is, so the chapters will come out when they come out.
2. The story is probably almost over, or at least book one is. I had an idea that will save time and keep me from having to write another 10 or 15 chapters. I don't have an exact number of how many are left, but it's probably only 3 at the most.
And that about does it. So without further ado, I present to you the next chapter of Amour Academy!
Enjoy!!
* Sorry for any grammatical errors that you might encounter.

(Ash's Pov)
Serena and I made our way down the hall. We were heading out to the garden for lunch. We've decided to consider this our first official date.
As excited as I am though, I just can't help but remember that hilarious talk I had with Gary a few moments ago.
Ahh man that was classic. I couldn't help but laugh at Gary's reaction and the thought of the look on his face.
Serena turned to me, curious as to what I was cracking up about.
"Wow, I know this is our first date, but I never expected this reaction." She said with a giggle.
"Oh no it's not that, I was just thinking about an extremely jealous friend of mine." I replied.
Serena stopped walking.
"So...you mean you aren't excited about our date?" Serena asked, sounding a little disappointed.
"W-what are you talking about!? Yes, of course I'm excited! I was just-" I quickly said, but stopped when I noticed Serena had started laughing.
"Calm down Ash, I was just kidding." Said Serena through her laughter.
I sighed heavily in relief.
"Geez Sere, you really had me going there for a second." I said.
Serena smiled and kissed me on the cheek and we continued walking.
"You know, I had no idea you could be so gullible." She said jokingly.
"Well what can I say, I'm dating the most amazing girl on the planet, who just so happens to be a princess with a psycho older brother. So you might say there's a little pressure not to mess things up." I said with a wink.
Serena looked down to hide her blush and gripped my hand tighter.
"I love you, silly." She said in an embarrassed tone.
"I love you too, Sere." I replied.
After a few minutes we finally made it outside and into the courtyard, and boy let me tell you, it is easily twice as big as it looked from the outside.
Serena ran a few feet ahead and spun around to face me.
"Welcome to the Kalos Castle Courtyard!" Serena said with excitement.
It was easy to tell that she had been waiting to show this to me, and it was definitely clear why. This place was so beautiful, I could barely put it into words.
"Whooooooaaaaa!" I said with my mouth wide open in surprise.
Serena smiled brightly and giggled. That was probably just what she wanted to hear.
"So I take it you're impressed?" Asked Serena.
"Yeah, it's.....it's incredible! I've never seen anything like it!" I replied, still bewildered.
Serena's bright smile only grew. She seemed like she was about to say something, but...
*Rummbblle
Ah, there goes the ol' stomach again. I blushed and rubbed the back of my head.
"Heh, guess I'm getting a little hungry." I said with a chuckle.
Serena giggled and grabbed my hand.
"Then what are we waiting for, let's go! Brock and the others already set everything up for us." Said Serena eagerly.
I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, let's go!" I said.
And off we went. Walking hand in hand troughthe lush courtyard garden. As we walked, I couldn't help but get distracted by the multitude of different trees, flowers, birds, and monuments that we passed. And to top it all off, it was such a nice day outside. The sun was shining, the sky was clear, and the temperature was just right.
Eventually we came to this large wooden archway that was covered in wisteria vines. The archway stretched out about 10 feet wide and looked to be around 50 feet long. I tried to peek around, but due to the thick hedges surrounding it, I couldn't see a thing.
"Our spot is right through here." Serena said, sounding giddy.
I nodded and we continued on. We walked slowly through the archway, we were both drawn in by different shades of purple from the vines, as well as the way the light reflected off of them.
"This has always been my favorite part of the garden. I used to spend hours out here just admiring all of it." Said Serena.
"Yeah, I can see why. I don't think I've ever seen anything this beautiful before." I replied.
Serena smiled and leaned her head over on my shoulder.
"I'm glad you like it. You have no idea how long I've been waiting to share this with someone, especially someone I love." Said Serena.
I tilted my head and rested it on hers.
I was about to say something romantic, but as I opened my mouth, we made it to a clearing at the end of the archway. Serena immediately lit up.
"Look Ash, we're here!" Serena said excitedly.
I look out into the clearing. It was a small open area surrounded by hedges. In the center of it was a large magnolia tree. Underneath it was a simple red and black table cloth with two plates, a thermos, and a picnic basket.
"Wow, Brock really knows how to set up a romantic picnic, doesn't he?" I remarked.
"Mhm! If only he wasn't so bad with girls." Said Serena.
We both cracked up.
"So, shall we?" I asked.
"Indeed we shall." Said Serena with a giggle.
We both took a seat on the table cloth and were about to open up the basket when heard a loud rustling sound in front of us.
"What was that?" Asked Serena, a little frightened.
I put my hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'm sure it was just a rabbit or-" I was cut off by yet another, louder rustling noise.
It was clear that whatever was out there was no rabbit, and was very close.
I quickly stood up and planted myself in front of Serena. We waited for a few seconds, but heard nothing.
"I'm gonna go check it out." I said.
"Wait Ash, no! It could be dangerous!" Serena said.
I gave her a thumbs up.
"Don't you worry about me, I'll be fine." I said.
I took a step forward, only to be stopped by Serena.
"Serena-" I started to say.
"I'm coming with you." She said bluntly.
I sighed and nodded, knowing she wasn't going to take no for an answer.
We inched slowly in the direction we heard the sounds from. When we reached the edge of the clearing, we peered into the hedge. Then suddenly someone flung out of the hedge, sending Serena and I tumbling backwards.
"I-I'm so sorry!!" Came a familiar voice.
Serena and I both shot up off the ground.
"It's you!!"
To be continued...
