Annika woke up to the sound of the vacuum cleaner and pressed the pillows hard against her ears. She hated any sort of interruption in her sleep but waking up to some noise or the other had become almost a daily occurrence these days. The whirring noise of the cleaner got louder as whoever was using it came closer to her room. Groaning, Annika woke up and checked the time. It was only 7 am.

Opening the door of her room, she found the jerk who had ruined her sleep vigorously cleaning underneath the coffee table in the living room. 

"Is there something wrong with you?" Annika asked loudly to make herself heard. Shivaay turned off the machine and turned towards her with a frown.

"No, really," Annika continued, hands on hips. "Do you have some mental disorder where you are unable to perceive other people's problems and emotions? Because if you do, it's completely alright, you know. I won't judge you."

"Can you stop being a nuisance so early in the morning?" Shivaay rolled his eyes, annoyed at being interrupted in his morning cleaning ritual. Annika gasped.

"I'm being a nuisance?" Annika asked, outraged. "You're the one who doesn't let people sleep in peace!"

"It's 7 am already and hardly the time to sleep," Shivaay stated. Annika was about to reply but he continued--"Besides, it's my house, so you don't tell me what to do!"

Annika would have laughed at the similarity of his words to that of Pooja from Big Boss had she not been so fucking pissed.

"You know what, you're not even at fault. I'm the moron who decided to quarantine with an absolute asshole like you, so if anyone has a mental disorder, it's me!" Screaming the words at his face, Annika went back to her room and shut the door loudly, her head already throbbing with pain.
