Sience prevailed in the colossal hall of the luxurious mansion situated in the outskirts of Delhi.

Though the heavy and gruff voices were heard from the formal lounge that was just beside the grand entrance, few men sitting there, all on some high posts.

The man, he was barely controlling the urge to smash the table and get out of this room to the only place he found solace.

But, duty calls.

His friend, his brother in-law, his partner was giving him known looks with that big smirk, he still doesn't know why his sister is a fan of because that man looks like a monkey with it.

His stormy grey orbs narrowed as soon as they landed on the two figures, running in the main lounge, around the expensive couches, artifacts, the chandelier's light shoning upon them.

Well, fuck everything.

All he cared about were the two woman running just outside the formal lounge for the men to sit, not caring about their surroundings or their condition.

His friend followed his gaze, his fist clenching at the scene ahead.

These two women always knew how to get on their nerves.

Dressed in a knee length, well it didn't quite reach her knees, red colored wrap dress, hair cascading down her shoulders, barefoot running here and there with that particular spot visible that he was dying to caress, his eyes narrowed into splits at the sight that was open to everyone.

The other woman's eyes accidentally landed on him who was raging in anger, his jaw clenched and she gulped in response because she knew he wouldn't hesitate to smack some sense into her that would lead to a full blown fight.

And in an instant she took the other woman's hand who was still trying to run with giggles, unbothered with the surroundings and dragged her to the kitchen, ignoring her whines and huffs.

//////////

"You bitch are a lucky woman." Anahita muttered, raking her hand through her dark brown locks that she inherited from her mother.

Roohi finally glanced up from her choco pudding she was eating to her sister in-law, more like a bestfriend with a pout and an innocent look as if she had no idea what Anahita was talking about.

"What do you mean?" Roohi frowned, gesturing to her pudding for Anahita to taste it.

In retun she only got a disgusted look at the mess that Roohi had created. Even her face had the remnants of chocolate!

"What do I mean!? You do not seem bothered or worried about the fact that Armin caught us running! Hell I am worried about myself because even Shahveer won't be able to control Armin when he has made up his mind to beat his precious, little and innocent sister." Anahita cried, taking the support of expensive and shining marble countertop of kitchen.

"Precious? Little? Innocent you say? Who exactly are you talking about because that certainly isn't you." Roohi butted in with a deadpanned look.

Just as Anahita had said, Roohi didn't have a single bone of fear. She didn't care at all! Not even about the fact that how Armin would yell at her. Because after that she knew what it would be followed by. One reason why she always wants to get on his nerves.

Her face always possesses a mischievous smile and it was Armin who would be able to see that sultry one behind it. Because it was only for him.

"Now is not the time for it!" Anahita continued her weeping.

"Who can even say that you're the wife of Shahveer Singh Rathore? The queen of the Rana Sa of Udaipur?" Roohi decided to tease her further to get on her nerves.

2 years.

It was almost two years that Anahita had been married to the Rana Sa of Udaipur, Shahveer Singh Rathore, the eldest son of Rudrapratap Singh Rathore and Leya Rudrapratap Rathore.

It was love at first for Shahveer.

Even the word smitten wouldn't suffice what he felt for her. His heart was hers the moment he saw her.

And that moment was when Armin finally decided to introduce his bestfriend to his family because all he was known was as a underground leader of the mafia, passed on by his father, Atharva Grover.

Shahveer didn't know that a man as dangerous as Armin who didn't think twice before killing would have a sweet and perfect family like this.

With a parents who loved each other to no extent, still in their honeymoon stage after 30 years of marriage, and a sister who was as fresh as a garden blooming with thousands of colorful and vibrant flowers.

For Shahveer, relationship was nothing. It was a no-no. If he liked/ loved someone genuinely, he would straightaway marry her because him liking someone had never happened. But Anahita had changed that.

To make Anahita agree was a difficult task, even more than asking Armin if Shahveer could marry his twin sister.

Anahita was done with these arrogant men that would always smirk to their wives, were over protective as hell and would appear more scary than loving.

Well, it wasn't like Armin and Atharva weren't loving towards her. But they had that one dangerous aspect in them and Anahita didn't want that in her man.

Shahveer was assumed like Armin only by Anahita. She believed he was just like her brother.

But who was she kidding?

Shahveer Singh Rathore had taken after his mother!

He was goofy as hell, with a soft grin over his face the whole time and his talks were full of humor.

And it didn't take her long to fell in love with him and his gestures as he kept pestering her to atleast look at him with a different perspective.

And she did which she was glad of.

She still doesn't know how him and Armin are the best of friends!

Maybe a pair of one goofy and one serious makes the perfect pair of friends.

"So? Armin is dangerous while my Shahveer is my bae. Even more goofy than me! He wouldn't dare to say anything to me." Anahita reasoned, circling the countertop in the middle in a fast pace.

Roohi's head kept rotating just as per Anahita's movements and at one point she was done, almost feeling as if she was about to faint due to to the spins.

"And I swear Roohi, one day I am going to record all your sassiness that you show to me. Because all you do in front of Armin is blush. Oh goodness, he doesn't even scold you seeing how whipped he is for you. I am dying from inside remembering the look he gave me from the formal lounge. I am literally dead today." Anahita continued her drama.

Roohi, well actually both Roohi and Anahita knew Armin's behaviour was like this towards her because he was protective of his twin sister! They had a strong bond ever since childhood. He wouldn't let anyone make her cry no matter he himself would do that and won't mind as well.

But this 26 year old woman was still scared of her brother and his famous deadly glare.

Loud footsteps resonated through the open mansion due the high ceilings and as soon as Roohi's brown orbs landed on the two men, dressed in insanely expensive formal suits, walking towards them with an all serious expression, she straightened herself, nudging for Anahita who still kept rambling how she'll be getting a good tight slap from Armin and how she would return it with the same zeal.

And bam, fight between the siblings.

"You want a slap? Come, I'll gladly give you a tight one." Armin's deep voice was heard.

It was oozing with power and dominance.

These traits were common in the men of this family.

Roohi stifled her laughter seeing the frozen form of Anahita, stuffing her mouth with the pudding not to make anything obvious, while Shahveer was grinning from ear to ear, not something a husband would do seeing his wife almost getting beaten by her brother.

"Min-Min..." Anahita nervously chuckled, fiddling with her fingers, while glaring at her husband to butt in who just raised his hands in surrender, now trying to get out some bites from Roohi's pudding who was giving him a stinky eye in return.

Min-Min.

Anahita knew she fucked up.

One thing Armin hated, more like despised was his nickname given by his sweet like anything mother to whom he couldn't even say anything to oppose. And Anahita always teased him with the same. Who would even leave a chance to tease the mafia leader with Min-Min as a nickname?

"You-"

Armin was seconds away from give his sister a new lesson when her voice stopped him.

"Armin!" Roohi's yell was heard, making his head snap towards her.

His hard eyes in an instant turned soft, looking at her with adoration. Damn his wife!

Completely forgetting that he was in mode for a good banter and fight with his twin, he walked towards his wife, sitting on that barstool, looking just perfect with that adorable grin and chocolate all over mouth.

And with that he had captured her in a tight hug.

Anahita took Roohi's wave as a sign for her to run away and the very next second she had taken Shahveer's hand and began running for the door to the mansion so she could get away from this hell hole of a mansion of her brother. No matter Shahveer kept on laughing like a hyena, pleading her to stop running.

Why?

Because his wife of two years was 6 months pregnant with their first child, no matter she didn't act like that and would keep running.

Ignoring Roohi's pleas or protests, Armin lifted her from that barstool and made her sit on the marble countertop, the cooling effect, making goosebumps appear her skin, but they vanished as soon as she gained the warmth back of being in Armin's arms.

His head was nuzzled in her neck with his hands around her waist and she tapped him on the shoulder as a sign to break the hug which he did.

Her brown orbs met his stormy grey orbs that she knew he inherited from his father and she swears that made her fall in love with him all over, once again because the softness and adoration he had in his eyes was hard to be missed.

"Don't scold me."

Three words and he was a goner.

Because he won't.

No matter how hard it is for him because he saw her running and giggling in front of every men sitting in the formal lounge that too when this sight was only for him.

And on top of that, because of her condition that is...

//////////

The stormy orbs were oozing with shine because they were settled on the woman in his arms.

With him on the support of the headboard, she was sleeping soundlessly with her head in his lap, her both hands circling his one leg that he wasn't able to move at all because of her tight grip.

He caressed the tiny bump she was sporting. In her womb was their child. The result of their love.

They'd found out she was pregnant a month and half ago. And he was ecstatic. Though it was only one year to their marriage, he was more than happy with the fact that they were about to get a child of their own.

This man still chuckles at the incidents that happened in the past which lead to them being husband and wife and now madly in love with each other.

Around two and a half years ago, getting a phone call from the man he's assigned to keep an eye on his sister for her safety who he cares for to no extent, it was only for him to rage in anger as soon he got to know that a few little pieces of shit, a group of boys were following her around in the mall she was busying shopping in, whistling at her and mocking at the same time.

Anahita was somewhat like her mother who preferred to stay away from any danger and was epitome of beauty with innocence. She wouldn't dare to say anything irrelevant that too to some strangers.

And there at the moment he raced to his location, ignoring his bestfriend who kept on asking what had happened but getting no such response because of the rage in his eyes, Shahveer had no other option but to accompany him.

The situation on which his eyes landed as soon as he entered the mall for his sister had him drowning in amusement. Probably one of the very few times that he had another expression than a clenched jaw with hard eyes.

And for sure the only woman except his mother and sister who was successful in doing something to him.

A woman, not more than 5'7 height was busy yelling at the boys who had their heads ducked down in embarrassment because of the commotion. She had no intention of stopping because no matter how a man kept dragging her away with a frustrated look, or Anahita kept thanking her that she was fine, that woman was just not stopping.

And when he'd gotten closer to them, that woman's head snapped towards him angrily and she then began shouting at him, much to his dislike.

"Who the fuck are you now? Here to molest us girls like these little shits were doing? I swear I am gonna beat you so hard because words doesn't work with men like you in this world. My Mom has taught me well how to deal with people like you. Fuck this! Fuck men!"

She had yelled at him openly.

Yelled at a mafia leader in front of so many people.

If it would've been someone else than her, he/she would be laying in a pool of blood by then, but it was her. For whom, he was a goner.

Anahita was praying for the innocent girl who had such good intentions to help her when she had no one, while Shahveer was busy muffling his laughter at the fact that finally someone dared to raise her voice at his bestfriend.

A bestfriend who was smitten by her in the first glance.

"Roohi, that's enough. You don't have to fight unnecessarily now. Specially when you know that I hate violence." The man beside her had literally pleaded.

And in a flash she'd forgotten that she was giving everyone a piece of lesson and turned her back on them, now walking away from the scene, her hand criss crossed with the man beside her.

The man whose hands he was itching to cut off because he dared to touch her.

Roohi.

Her name was Roohi.

His Rooh.

Soon.

But,

He was just not able to find her or find any information regarding her.

A year had passed with him not getting a single lead about that fiery black head girl who had swept off the floor beneath his feet when he saw her for the first time.

He assumed that there could be only two reasons behind this. Either her family was highly influential who didn't let out a single detail about them or the latter was that she had a hidden identity, which his mafia brain had come up with.

And finally, he saw her in the most unexpected ways, most unexpected time with his grumpy mood because of the constant tension of his precious sister getting married to a monkey.

Flashback:

A permanent scowl was resting on Armin's face as he manoeuvred his way through the high ceilinged corridors of the 30 story building, owned by his bestfriend, the Rana Sa of Udaipur, the city where he currently was in.

The employees lowered their gazes as soon as they noticed the dangerous man walking without sparing anyone a glance. The women for a second swooned over the hunk of a man but his expression and aura had made them stumble across the men, their coworkers thinking to hide behind them, who themselves were scared.

Not bothering to respond to the secretary outside Shaveer's office who was stammering him to stop since Shahveer was busy with an important client, he swinged the massive mahogany door open without any force, now standing with his hands inside his pant's pocket in his glory.

The two humans present inside for a second flinched at the commotion this man had caused, then their heads snapped towards him.

Shahveer grinned at his bestfriend who finally took out the time to visit him in Udaipur no matter it was for his own wedding preparations and Roohi was awestruck in every sense, her mouth parted open.

The 6'2 heightened man was the hottest man she had ever seen. His hair, hell they were even silkier than her own and even richer in the black tone that was common for them. His face, it felt like it was sculpted in perfection. High cheekbones, square jaw with a sleek jawline and an aristocratic nose, everything equaled to perfection. The jaw that was clenched and Roohi couldn't have enough of looking at it was covered with a 5 o'clock stubble that only enriched his ruggedness and dominance.

This man was oozing with power, dominance and danger.

Dressed in a black three piece suit with a black shirt underneath, Roohi was gobsmacked because she was a true black lover. The silver rolex on his wrist was shining from every corner, just as his leather shoes cladding feet.

Whereas Roohi was awestruck seeing the hot specimen, Armin was stunned.

This woman he was finding since an year was in touch with his bestfriend? Whereas he was busy finding her everywhere, he didn't expect her to be in contact with the people he was in relation with!

Dressed in a beige colored suit that was with formal jeans and a beige crop top underneath, she looked ethereal wearing this semi formal outfit. Her black locks were cascading down her shoulders, ending on her waist with some loose natural curls at the end.

He gulped in his own saliva as soon as his eyes landed on her long legs, her feet clad in a pair of beige heels.

Her face, it had it's own natural glow and soft blush on her cheeks. Her face was covered in minimal makeup. It highlighted her deep brown orbs, the long lashes making it hard for him to make an eye contact with her.

And the snapping of fingers in front of his face made him jerk to the reality.

Roohi was now standing just in front of him, one or two inches of a gap, raising her eyebrows with a 'What the hell are you trying to do dude?' look.

He cleared his throat, nodding his head a little respectively and forwarded his hand for her to shake which she instantly did.

"Myself Armin. The mafi- sorry, The Grover Enterprise's CEO. Nice to meet you Miss-"

"Roohi. Roohi Shekhawat." Roohi completed for him with a tight lipped smile.

'Armin'

And the way she murmured his name had his heart go through a frenzy. He had a fluttering feeling in his chest and this was so new to him. Because all that was taught by his father was how to control your emotions because no one can be trusted in their world. Even their own blood.

"Uhh- Roohi, we shall discuss about this with your father the next time. You are free to go." Shahveer butted in looking at Roohi with a polite smile.

Armin was intently looking at Shahveer to take out a single flaw in him, more like to find out his intentions towards Roohi just so he could make Anahita agree to not marry him.

But his bestfriend looked at Roohi like a brother does! Even this time he had lost his chance.

"Thank you Shahveer bhai!" Saying this with a bright smile, she hugged him and exited his office without sparing Armin another glance who couldn't take in the fact that she was the first woman who was neither scared of him nor lusted over him.

"Shahveer Bhai?" Armin repeated, raising his perfect eyebrow at Shahveer.

"Mom and Shreya Aunt, her mother are bestfriends." Shahveer replied, circling his desk.

"Uhh- that cool aunt of yours who you looked up to?" Armin asked, digging through his memory how Shahveer won't stop praising the world's best and funniest aunt of his.

"The same. Shreya Aunt is the best and her daughter, Roohi, she's no less than her." Shahveer muttered, a soft chuckle escaping his lips at the thought of the girl who ties him and his younger brother rakhi (Indian festival).

"Shall we go?" He continued.

Armin's head snapped towards Shahveer while he was busy in his thoughts about her.

He was just not able to take that girl out of his damn mind! There must be a reason behind it, doesn't it?

"No man. You proceed because I have something else important to do."

And patting Shaveer's chest twice, Armin literally ran out of the plush office, his stormy grey orbs searching for that damn woman in this opulent office!

//////////

Her chocolate brown orbs were wandering to her surroundings, trying to find that damn driver her father had assigned for her to make it easy in a city like Udaipur.

She was barely controlling the urge to smash everything around her. Well, her anger was just like her mother's.

Adopted who?

Her parents treated her even better than some real ones do.

She had taken after her mother, being a Daddy's princess so what connection was even left? She didn't let any insecurity come over her.

Her little brother was just the opposite of her but in the family of four, there was no lack of love or care. They were each other's world.

Before she could dial the driver's number, a hand had tightly grasped her wrist, though not in a way it would leave a bruise.

And she didn't even get the chance to realize when she was pulled in a hard chest, the warmth radiating with an intoxicating scent, and then lifted and placed in a sleek black car's plush back seat.

Her eyes slowly opened, taking in her surroundings. The car reeked out of luxury and money. It was big enough, such that a black layer was separating the back from the driver's seat, the driver not visible to her.

The car held a manly scent and her eyes moved towards her right where it was coming from.

Armin Grover was sitting beside her, his one leg crossed over the other, a pair of black shades resting on his eyes and his coat long lost forgotten, which she noticed was kept between them.

"Dude? Wassup?"

These were the first words she uttered as she leaned back into the plush seats, now glancing over Armin as if they were some long lost friends, meeting over a cup of coffee.

"You are one hot specimen I must say." Roohi said in an impressed tone, her eyes depicting no fear.

No fear for the man from whom people run away or don't try to come in his vicinity knowing the danger he carries.

"Thank you?" Was Armin's amused response.

"So? Should I take this as kidnapping or you're just giving me a lift?" She continued, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear that Armin was trying to do since long.

"Kidnapping would be fine." He replied as if it was normal.

"Oh God! I always had this wish of getting kidnapped and how my Mom would come to save me, beating every men out there." Roohi squealed happily, her eyes twinkling in excitement as she made an eye contact with Armin.

Armin was shocked would be an understatement. He felt his throat clogging, no words coming out of his mouth at her words. She had left him gobsmacked, more like flabbergasted at the situation.

He had believed a 100% that she would throw a fit and whine as soon as he would touch her, making her sit inside was another thing!

But her reaction to this had left him stunned.

This girl was something else...

"Your Mom? Well, your Dad or life partner would atleast be normal to hear." Armin responded, raking a hand through his hair.

"My Mom is no less than a Don." She winked at him.

At this, Armin could only cough out uncomfortably. Guess, him and her mother will surely have many similarities since he was a don himself.

But will this girl accept his lifestyle because it's nowhere easy?

"Can I touch your hair?" She whispered all of a sudden that made him looked at her wide eyed.

Does this woman even have an ounce of shyness? Well, he didn't think so.

"I- I mean they are so silky. Which shampoo do you use by the way?" She butted in, jutting out her bottom lip.

He only gave her a deadpanned look at this.

"Way to embarrass yourself Roohi. Can't even hold a proper conversation." She mumbled to herself under her breath but he was able to hear it clearly.

"I don't mind." He said, his lips pressed in a thin line.

"You don't?" She asked, this time shocked herself.

And with that, she had hugged the daylights out of him.

Her hands were wrapped around his torso as she inched closer to his seated form, shocking the hell out of him once again.

She looked so small as compared to his self.

And her hugging him was the best feeling ever.

Her honey-vanilla scent was felt overpowering to him even more than his own and the solace and calmness he felt was so new yet enthralling.

Who could even believe that he was the same man who didn't appreciate physical touch at all. He preferred maintaining a distance from everyone.

The only people he had hugged after gaining maturity was his father, his sweet mother and his twin who was his lifeline.

"And I hope you won't mind with what I am about to do."

By Armin muttering this, it was only for Roohi to fall in a deep slumber as he had pricked a needle in her neck, with God knows what chemical that she basically had no idea about what's happening around her, her eyelids feeling heavy and shutting on their own.

His strong arms get a secured hold of her dainty figure, lying carelessly as he tucked her face in his chest, making her sit in his lap while caressing her hair.

Because the one thought that was rounding in his mind was, 'I have to make her mine soon.'

/////////

Her deep brown fluttered open due to the blinding light falling aimlessly on her soft featured face. Her eyes squinted as she took in her surroundings.

She was laying on a plush bed, black covers hiding her frame from the waist down. The room now felt dimly lit. There was only one light in the corner that was lit up. She realized that she was in a hotel room, though it was no less than a 5 star one seeing the luxuries.

She felt a sharp pain in her head as she tried to get up, making a loud hiss come out of her mouth.

She was seconds away from panicking when her eyes landed on the figure sitting on the armchair in the corner, below the small chandelier illuminating the room.

Armin Grover.

And that's when she realized the last thing that happened with her.

Both of them sitting in the car with her blabbering when all of a sudden she felt like fainting. And most probably she did faint.

His back was facing her, such that his eyes were on the tall glass windows of the room, the city in the night visible to them. They were at atleast on the 40th floor, if no less.

He was yelling.

The anger and dominance in his voice would've made anyone cower in anger and shudder at their place but Roohi was just busy gazing at his strong back that was void of any shirt. His chiseled back was in front of her eyes with some portion of the massive tattoo visible.

And then her eyes landed on the loaded gun kept beside him, on the coffee table, some bullets carelessly lying.

She swears she would've gulped in fear but she had seen a lot of them. Her father loved shooting and he would at times take her with him to make her do the same.

But those guns were a lot different than this one. It scared her, she won't lie.

There was no other thought in her mind except pf Armin. She didn't care where she was nor she had the tension that her parents would be worried because they were enjoying themselves on a world tour. She loved to be independent and live her life to the fullest.

"Don't wait for a single minute. Just shoot that bastard straight in his head and be done with this shit." He yelled, his husky and deep voice reaching her ears.

Armin Grover was the first man she'd actually felt something towards no matter it hadn't even been a day since she saw him. This man was the epitome of perfection and just as she preferred. Tall, dark and handsome.

His tanned skin, two or three tone darker than her own had attracted her even more than his looks and bulging muscles.

As she proceeded to walk towards him, it was only for her toe to get hit from the legs of coffee table, a painful yelp coming out from the back of her throat and the bullets falling one by one, rolling on the floor.

Armin's head snapped towards her as he instantly hung up on his call, now taking the woman in his arms who clutched onto him.

A painful toe is worse than a deep wound.

"Are you okay, Roohi?" And the way her name rolled off his tongue had made her swoon all over him once again.

She just nodded distractedly, her hands clutching his shoulders as he lead her towards the armchair, now sitting in such a way that she was in his lap.

For the first time Armin was a bit hesitant of his own actions but it seemed like Roohi wasn't like the usual girls. He noticed that she didn't care when she saw his gun and the bullets, or him yelling thise shrewd words or that she was in a complete new location with a man she just met and got to know.

Her eyes were fixated ahead, looking at the lit up city in the night while his gaze was on her, his eyes soft probably after so long.

"Who are you?" Was the first thing she asked after moments of silence.

"I have told you-"

He couldn't complete his sentence as she'd cut him off.

"The real you Armin." This time, she asked while looking straight in his eyes.

"The mafia leader, Armin Grover." And as soon as these words came out of his mouth, a sigh had escaped her lips.

(PS: I literally laughed at this sentence ;P)

He cursed himself mentally thinking he had lost his chance to be with the only girl he wanted to from deep down, a genuine connection towards her, but her next words shook him to the core.

"That's so cool."

This time, there was a big grin on her face making him gulp silently.

Was she sarcastic or was she serious?

He only hoped that it was the latter one.

"Shaveer bhai's bestfriend right?" She continued.

"How do you know?" He asked, making a mental note to deal with his bestfriend.

"Well, I once had him at my mercy with a knife to know about his bestfriend who he always tried to hide from us." Roohi shrugged as if what she said was totally normal.

"He's such a scaredy cat you know? He literally pleaded in front of me to keep this a secret." She continued passing him a sly wink.

This woman will one day be the death of him.

"Why am I here Armin?" She finally asked the question that was troubling her since the beginning.

For a second, Armin didn't know what to respond with. Maybe she would get frightened by his words and the things he wanted? But as soon as he grasped the situation and her behaviour all along, he knew that being honest and straightforward with her would be the best thing to do if he wants this to work between them.

"I will be straightforward Roohi. I like you. Heck, I might even love you-"

It felt like Roohi's heart came out of her chest at his words.

"We met today Armin!"

She said, her expression still stunned.

"Well, I first saw you an year back. At the mall when you made the boys that were molesting Anahita run away. You yelled at me too, remember?" He voiced out and it took Roohi a good minute to process everything, dig through her memory and she slightly nodded.

"I felt something towards you right there. It happened for the first time with me, I swear. But I wasn't able to find you no matter how hard I tried." He continued and she just kept on nodding understandingly.

"Dad tries to keep his family under the radar. We don't usually do appearances anywhere. I stay as a normal adult with my ex boyfriend, nothing too much not too less." Roohi shrugged plainly.

And at this Armin gave her an incredulous look.

"Ex boyfriend!?" He gritted out with a clenched jaw, his hands fisted tightly.

"Yeah. Krish Dixit. He's my bestfriend too. I mean we were friends since kindergarten and then became friends and then he proposed me to be his girlfriend. I agreed because he was such a sweet guy and I wanted that experience too. But we didn't work out and soon broke up. But damn, we couldn't stay away from each other and we continued being bestfriends and now even share an apartment. Like dude, he's so good at cooking-"

Roohi stopped her rambling as soon as her eyes met Armin's who was giving her an amused look at the fact how much this woman can speak, without any pause.

"Sorry, I know I blabber a lot. It's fine if you get irritated but you know I won't stop-"

His whole face turned even more amused.

"Sorry." She mumbled embarrassingly, her cheeks turning red.

"Is it that guy who was with you in the mall?" He questioned with raised eyebrows.

"Yes."

"That little piece of shit." Armin muttered angrily.

"Hey! That's my ex boyfriend and present bestfriend we are talking about. I won't tolerate any disrespect towards him." Roohi slapped his bare chest lightly making a soft chuckle escape his lips.

"Armin...I am not going to lie but I also feel something towards you." She almost whispered after moments of silence.

Her hands were tracing some faint some new scars on his chest, on his hard abs, his body having so many tattoos, some big some small.

He thought she would repulse those on him, but all his worries went away as she placed a chaste kiss on the biggest one that was on his abdomen, making a wavered breath come out of his mouth.

This little minx was doing so wrong with playing with him like this.

The sexual tension between them was thick.

Both of them were experienced in this field and neither they cared about this.

He cupped her face, bringing it closer to his own such that it was mostly an inch gap between them. And with that, she brushed her lips against his, awakening the beast inside of him.

"Think again Roohi. I am not exactly soft if you must know." He growled out, barely controlling the urge to kiss the hell out of her as their lips were still brushing each other's.

"Well then I would suggest you to continue because I love it exactly the way you do." She smirked at him and it was final.

Even if she wouldn't want to be with him, he will make sure that she's his.

If Armin was a devil, then Roohi was no saint.

Why can only a man have fun? She loved pleasure and Armin seemed determined to provide that to her.

He was someone who made her feel wanted in just a short span of time.

And sometimes, it's better to go with the heart instincts than time.

Because now, she'll make sure to make him know that she had no problem with him being in her life.

Flashback:

3 months later...

It was the day of Anahita's wedding with Rana Sa of Udaipur, Shahveer Singh Rathore. The whole Rathore and Grover clan was enjoying the wedding festivities in their anicent Palace of Udaipur, the place that was spread around hundreds of acres of land.

This wedding seemed like it would be remembered till centuries, seeing the amount being spent on it and the vibe it reflected.

Ayla and Atharva were a little sad about the fact that their princess was getting married, consoling each other with their love reflecting.

While on the other hand, Leya was grinning ear to ear, taking selfies with Rudra and their younger son, Rajveer who were groaning from time to time but still compiled to her.

And here, while everyone was enjoying to the fullest, Armin was busy yelling on his phone in one corner due to the always going on problems in the mafia and the so called traitors.

Wedding or whatever, this couldn't be put onto hold.

Roohi, she was sitting there in a beautiful pink and silver colored heavy lehenga with a small blouse, rhinestones covering each portion, barely covering her bossoms that Armin had to clench his fist when he saw her for the first time in this dress.

Her grin was so big seeing her brother by heart getting married with such a an amazing woman who she couldn't wait to befriend.

She was skillfully ignoring Armin's pointed stare at her since so long.

Armin had to do a lot of work.

From scaring away all the men that even dared to look at her, or to glare at the woman who ogled at him because he was only hers and then look at his girlfriend of 3 months while managing his calls and troubles. He was just so busy!

No one knew that Roohi and Armin knew each other. Well, they have done a lot more than knowing each other this whole time.

Rajveer was irritating Roohi who was hell bent on beating him in front of everyone as Veer gave her an encouraging pat while Shreya gave her a pointed look.

Pointed look because she should beat him harder! What has her daughter even learnt from her?

"Fuck you!" Flipping him off, she got up from her seat and began walking towards the washroom, well more like she wanted to go to an open area to breathe in some fresh air.

The place she reached from the backdoor was almost empty. There was just a small garden with a few decorative items carelessly lying and no source of any human except her, though loud voices were heard from the inside as the wedding was still going on.

Armin, who had caught her moving away from his eyes didn't wait another second to follow her still yelling though a bit muffled ones as people kept staring at the brooding man who seemed to catch everyone's attention.

Why wouldn't he catch anyone's attention?

Where if every male was dressed in ethnic wear or according to their family traditions or in some vibrant suits, Armin was dressed in a black tux, an expensive watch on his wrist that was shining along with the silver chain dangling in his neck.

Ayla was basically seconds away from smacking him right across his face to knock some sense into her son when Atharva had dragged her, murmuring some sweet words who himself was dressed in a dark toned kurta.

Like father, like son.

Roohi could only breathe in the fresheness for a few seconds when a hand was wrapped around her waist, gripping tightly like it has always been and his husky and deep voice had reached her ears, calming her senses.

Being pulled into a hard chest, a manly cologne reaching her nose was nothing new to Roohi. At times, she would feel herself completely drowned in her boyfriend's scent.

She circled her arms around his neck, standing a bit on her tip toes, as his one arm was wrapped around her bare waist while with the other he was still yelling at the person on the other hand.

Armin is more than amused by the fact that Roohi is never scared of his anger. She didn't react much when he would say those cruel things and would stay in his arms like he was her home. Her peace.

Well he was.

And she was his little vixen.

Kissing his bearded jaw, trailing wet kisses from his Adam's apple to the corner of his lips, she was as usual testing his patience.

Her honey, vanilla scent was the only thing that could calm his raging nerves.

He was in a habit to barge in her home or the place she worked where no one could stop him only to feel peace. As soon as he would hug her, all his worries and anger would fade away.

She was his medicine.

And with a click, he had hung up his call, his stormy orbs landing on his woman.

"Don't test me Roohi. I will drag to any room right now, in front of everyone." He growled lowly, the husky whisperers creating goosebumps on her soft, tanned skin.

"Dad will kill you." She giggled teasingly, playing with the collar of his tux.

"You do realize who you are talking to right?" He said in a deep voice, trying to cover her bare body as much as possible.

He didn't mind whatever she wore though didn't leave a chance to show his possessiveness and claim her body as his.

He loved the feeling of her long legs wrapped around his waist, her arms around his neck and his hard chest pressing against her bossoms, the hard pebbles touching.

They spent almost every night together, mostly at his mansion because Armin couldn't bear the sight of Krish, her so called ex boyfriend.

He was even adamant on getting Roohi live away from Krish because of which she hadn't talked to him straight for a week that had made him realize not to bring up this topic again.

"You do know Dad's behaviour right?" She shot back, threading her finger through his hair.

"Mhm. And I am ready to claim you as mine in front of everyone, including our parents." He let out possessively, brushing their lips.

And as they were about to connect for a deep kiss, a loud yell was heart making them alarmed.

"Roohi Veer Shekhawat! You are so dead!"

And it was the time when Veer and Shreya had come across their daughter in such a situation.

//////////

Present:

8 months later...

Roohi was anything but dead that day.

This new revelation did create whole load of drama but at the end everyone accepted their children's happiness.

Even Veer who didn't leave a hold of his daughter, almost crying at the fact that she was in love. His daughter had grown up.

To calm him, Shreya had to literally pin him with a glare.

Shreya and Veer didn't care about the fact that Armin was a part of mafia. The only thing that they were worried about the fact was that if Armin would be able to take care of Roohi.

But as soon as Shreya observed the look Armin had for Roohi in his eyes, she became sure that he was the man for her daughter because it was the same way Veer looked at her. And one contented look from Shreya had made Veer agree in contentment as well.

Armin's eyes were looking at his family lovingly. His wife of almost 2 years was holding their son of around one month, the blessing that was showered upon them which he never forgets to cherish.

Armin nearly had a death experience seeing Roohi in the excruciating pain for o hours of labour. He had almost lost his unconsciousness hearing her painful screams when the doctor had handed him his son, covered in blood to cut the umbilical cord.

Currently in their bedroom, Armin was sitting on the leather couch with the laptop in his lap, working on something when he finally kept everything aside, walking towards the two reasons for him to live.

Till now, Roohi was feeding their son and when this had finally ended, Armin didn't waste a chance to hold his son to his chest as this little man loved skin to skin contact while his other arm circled Roohi's shoulder, pulling her closer as they sat together with a support of headboard.

Her big brown orbs, the long lashes the plump lips that she keeps on biting, everything about her attracts her to him till date.

She was his angel. His Rooh.

"You know I love you right?" He said softly as he rocked his son his arms. He appeared so delicate and so fragile in his father's arms with the tattoos Armin had. But he would stop crying in his chest only.

"I love your smile. I love your laugh. I love the way you look at me and your personality. I just can't believe at times that we met so coincidentally and that at one point everything just went on perfect. I don't know what life might bring in for us, but I know that we'll stick together and go through everything as one. I know what I need and that's you. You're my everything because you're mine. You give me strength and always has been the perfect wife. I- I know I am not good with words and I fucking know that I didn't even propose you till date and just made you wear a ring. But damn woman, I love you and I have never felt like this about anyone. You want me to go on my knees baby? Wait- I'll do that-"

He was rambling continuously when her soft voice stopped him.

"Armin, you're rambling. Like me." She giggled at the end and he couldn't help but to smile back.

"Learnt from the best." His words made her go red.

"But you aren't on your knees yet." She butted in and he scratched his head, nodding a little.

"Let me-"

"Okay, stop it husband. I was kidding." She huffed with a mischievous smile.

"And I love you too." Roohi whispered, biting on his earlobe.

Ring

Ring...

"Who is it?" Armin questioned.

"My ex boyfriend and current bestfriend." Roohi responded with a grin.

"This little piece of shit!" Armin gritted and snatched the mobile from her hands, because it was the time to deal with him in his own ways.

And this was the love of Armin and Roohi.
