Kiaan's and Natasha life was going on better than ever. Sure they weren't like other couples where it would be a truckload of kisses, intimacy and physical activity, but for them it was satisfying as they were living happy as ever.
They had each other to care about 24*7 now where it would be a bit limited before their marriage. They loved to spend time together doing various activities unlike a married couple's, but it was fun for them.
These activities had been going on for three months straight. They both were mature in own sense, but they still hadn't talked or thought about the fact of their 'intimacy' which was irking Natasha.
She was a woman after all who needed her man's attention in this context doesn't matter if it's her bestfriend in the first place.
Dressed in a cream coloured blouse that was tucked inside a pair of brown pants with a pair of nude heels and her hair left open naturally, she took a deep breath getting out of her car.
With her head held high, she entered his office building after her work got over in her own office as it was already the evening.
Without wasting any second on the ground floor, she immediately made her way to the elevator, pressing the button to his floor. As the elevator dinged open indicating the arrival on the required floor, she exited it and started going to the direction of his office.
As always she didn't knock or waited for his response. She just swinged the door open revealing a Kiaan who certainly looked busy in an important talk with his secretary and two other men.
Kiaan glanced in her direction who had now made her way beside him. He looked back at the two men and a woman who were looking a bit uncomfortable, waiting for his next words.
"Make your ways out of my office. I'll get back at you guys later." Kiaan said to the three with a straight face.
They quickly scrambled out of his office making Natasha grin in contentment. She so love his attention towards her.
She quickly sat herself on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and placing her head on his chest.
"Okay, what's with the sudden affection?" Kiaan asked with a mischievous smile, wrapping his arms around her.
"I was feeling restless since the morning." She mumbled, still on the same position as before.
"And I missed you because you've started spending more time in the office and you talk less with me. Are you bored of me this soon Kiyu?" Natasha let it out.
"Of course not, Nat. You are the only person that matters to me." He replied pecking her forehead.
"But why do I have this weird feeling since the morning. All I wanted to do was see you in front of me." She replied pouting.
"Just some more days Nat. All my work will be settled in a couple of days then I have planned a trip for us." He said softly.
"Really?" She asked just to make him repeat.
"Of course, babe." He replied pulling her face towards him gently.
"I love you." She said in the casual, normal tone of hers which meant nothing, but care towards him.
With this she placed her lips on his which was the main thing she'd come here for and Kiaan immediately responded kissing her back feverishly.
"I would love to have a break like this daily." He mumbled in between pulling her closer.
Natasha giggled slightly and continued kissing him as if this wasn't enough for her or let's just say she didn't want to part from him.
"I love you." Was the first thing Kiaan said after parting.
Natasha's heart was in a frenzy. Whenever she would heard him say 'I love you' to her, she would feel these weird, unknown sensations in her heart. It would be different with the times he'd spoken before their wedding and deep down she was happy.
"I want to go home." Natasha mumbled after moments of silence.
"Why don't you go home alone right now? It'll take me a couple of hours to finish the work and I suppose you wouldn't like staying for long." Kiaan responded.
Natasha pouted in annoyance, but nonetheless agreed bidding her byes to him and got out of his office only to make her way towards his penthouse.
//////////
Pacing around the living room of Kiaan's penthouse, Natasha's heart was beating at an unexpectedly high speed. It was already 12 AM in the midnight and Kiaan was supposed to be home two hours ago. She was nervous as hell for Kiaan and she couldn't help, but to have those negative thoughts in her mind.
She had already called him a hundred of times and he didn't pick it once. It straightaway went to the robotic voice which she was irritated as hell for.
She'd already dialled his office number, but they weren't picking it either. Who would when it's 12 in the midnight?
The last option for her was to call her in-laws and she did the same. She dialled her mother in-law's number who picked up after numerous rings.
"Hello Natasha? Everything okay?" Her mother in-law questioned.
"No Mom, it's already 12:30 and Kiaan isn't home yet. I have called him ample of times but his phone is unreachable. He was supposed to be home 2 hours ago." She let out with difficulty.
"Don't worry Natasha. I'll just talk to his father and let you know. You keep calling him, okay?" Her mother in-law replied and Natasha just hummed.
Another twenty minutes had passed with Natasha pacing continuously while calling him simultaneously. She was worried for Kiaan to no bounds and she had this bad feeling inside of her.
Her phone suddenly rang catching her off guard, but she quickly calmed herself picking up the call which was from Kiaan's mother.
"Hello Mom? Were you able to contact him? Do you know where he is?" She rambled.
"Calm down Natasha. His Dad just got a call from one of his employees that Kiaan had an accident and he's currently in City Hospital." Her mother in-law replied.
"Accident? Is he okay?" Natasha gasped with her heart beating loudly.
"He's fine. Just come to the hospital as soon as possible." Her mother in-law replied.
Even at this moment, her mother in-law didn't seem genuinely worried about her son who'd just had an accident. It felt as if she just fulfilled her responsibility that too without much interest. Natasha couldn't help, but to feel more hatred towards his parents which she had built up since many years.
She quickly took her required belongings which consisted her mobile and her car keys with her wallet. She didn't bother to change her nightwear and just waltzed to the parking lot of his penthouse building getting to the roads of Delhi.
Around 20 minutes later she reached the hospital his mother had informed and she quickly ran inside of it. As she reached the reception, she saw a nurse behind the desk and approached her.
"How can I help you Ma'am?" The nurse questioned.
"Can you please tell me the room number of Kiaan Aggarwal. He had an accident and was brought here." She replied in a haste with her heart beating loudly due to nervousness and panic.
"He's on the second floor, room 236." The nurse replied checking.
"Thanks." Natasha quickly replied running towards the stairs.
She could've called her mother in-law regarding everything, but she decided not to as her anger was no bounds. She could've taken the elevator, but she knew it would take longer for her to reach.
Under a minute itself, she'd reach the second floor and started searching for the required room. It took her a couple of minutes, but as soon as she found it, she swung the door open breathing heavily.
"Kiaan." She lunged herself towards him who was sitting on the hospital bed.
His head was wrapped in a bandage with a bit of blood still visible and he visibly looked tired. Natasha heart was clenching at the sight of him, but she was more relieved about the fact that he was now safe in front of her eyes.
"How are you? How did this happen? And why weren't you picking my phone? I was so scared for you." She rambled standing in front of him.
Her eyes were glistening with fresh tears which she was trying her best to control, but seeing him they wouldn't just stop.
"Nat, relax. Nothing has happened to me. It was just a minor accident." Kiaan said smiling a little to his wife.
"There's nothing to relax. Do you know how scared I was for you? I felt as if I was about to lose you and you know I can't bear that fact." She cried hugging him.
"You will never lose me. I won't leave you alone. Don't worry about that Nat." He responded.
"How did this happen?" She questioned sitting beside him.
She knew his parents were sitting on the couches kept in the corner, but she didn't acknowledge them. It wasn't just because of what she felt moments ago when she talked to her mother in-law, but the facts she has collected since years.
"When I was coming home a drunk driver hit my car. It wasn't that forcefully so, it didn't affect me much because I had my seatbelt on. It's just a wound on my forehead and some minor scratches all over my body." He replied shrugging.
"And about the driver?" Natasha questioned.
"He got hurt pretty badly and the police was here to confront him. My phone was damaged due to the accident and that's why I couldn't call you. The hospital staff gave me a small dose of anesthesia for the pain resulting me to faint for a couple of hours." He replied.
"I am glad you're fine. I still don't understand why people drink and drive after that." Natasha muttered.
"Same." Kiaan mumbled.
She quickly glanced at his parents for a moment who seemed too uninterested in being here. Her anger was again no bounds.
"Is it painful?" She asked turning back to him.
"Nothing that I can't handle." He shrugged.
Kiaan's hand itching and paining with the bandage he had on and Natasha helped him with the same conversing the whole time. They had again become normal as ever with each other.
"Please promise me that you'll be careful regarding everything. You know I won't be able to survive without you in my life." Natasha said looking at him pleadingly.
"I promise, Nat. And you will not have to worry about anything ever again." Kiaan said in a determined tone.
"Kiaan, Natasha, I think we should get back to home. The doctor has said there's nothing major with Kiaan's accident and we can take him home now itself. It's already 1:30 AM." His father said glancing at his watch.
"Yes, he's right. There's no benefit in waiting here. Kiaan seems okay and if you want you both can come to our mansion to stay." His Mom said making Natasha's eyes go wide.
Kiaan looked normal as ever as if he's used to this. And he definitely is because the 27 years of his life made him understand a lot of things in his childhood itself.
"No thanks. We'll be staying in his penthouse itself and I am there for him." Natasha said with a hard look.
His mother and father looked a bit offended as they thought their children would work according to them. How wrong they were as Natasha and Kiaan knew very well they didn't care about them genuinely. It was just a forceful responsibility of them.
"Yes, my wife and I are very much capable of taking care of each other." Kiaan continued and his parents walked out of the room instantly. They didn't want to waste their time in the first place.
"What about your medicines Kiaan?" Natasha questioned helping Kiaan getting up from the bed.
"They are in the packet there. I already asked the nurse for this knowing ky parents." Kiaan responded pointing to the small brown paper packet on the table.
"Come on husband dearest. We need to return to our territory." Natasha said dramatically making Kiaan chuckle.
//////////
"Kiaan, I told you to be careful. See the bandage is now wet." Natasha scolded him with a glare.
"Do you even know how much difficult it was for me to shower with these multiple bandages?" Kiaan responded.
"And I offered to help you in the first place." Natasha huffed.
"And I told you that it would be uncomfortable for you." Kiaan said with a known look.
"Look, we are married and we are supposed to do such things. And the next time I wouldn't listen to you for this matter." She said in a determined tone.
"Here, let me change them." She mumbled leading him to the bed.
In the next ten minutes, she'd changed each of her bandage and replaced it with new ones. Kiaan was feeling so elated because he was getting the care of someone who is close to him which he certainly didn't in his childhood.
It had been a week since his accident. Natasha had strictly forbid him to go to his office and she'd herself took a leave to care for him. Kiaan was enjoying every moment of pampering because it was new to him. Sure he had nannies to take care of him, but the feeling of someone's care who is close to us is something different.
"Eat." She said to him gesturing to the spoon in her hands.
"I can't eat this anymore. All that I've eating since a week is this porridge." Kiaan whined.
"But the doctor said to feed you the same." Natasha responded.
"For what? 2 days right? But no, my wife will make me eat this straight for a week." He huffed.
"Okay. If you eat this then I'll give you the brownies I prepared for you." Natasha said smiling.
"You prepared your famous brownies?" He asked excitedly remembering his favourite desert.
"Yeah. So are you eating or not?" She asked who instantly ate the porridge from her hands itself.
Both of them didn't even know how they would complete each other in the best of ways. They had this empty space in them which required to be filled with someone who loves them genuinely or cares the whole time. Sure they were used to their families, but everyone no matter if it's an adult or not require a special person in their life which Natasha and Kiaan fulfill very well.
"Nat, I am telling you that you have to make this again. These are just fabulous." Kiaan moaned gulping down the last piece of brownie.
"No! You didn't even let me have a single piece. I was the one who made these in the first place." Natasha shouted.
"Well you can have a taste of them." Kiaan smirked.
"How?" Natasha asked frowning.
"Like this." Saying this Kiaan crashed her lips on hers to kiss her.
He didn't feel her kissing him back so, he backed off a little looking at her the whole time. Running a hand through his hair, he groaned a little. Natasha's head was bent down with her gaze lowered.
"Come with me." He said sternly taking her hands in his.
"Where are you taking me Kiaan? It's already night and you're not well." Natasha reasoned, now concerned as ever.
"I don't care about that. We are going there right now." Kiaan said with a hard look leading her out of his penthouse.
Around thirty minutes later the car stopped as they'd reached their destination. Natasha's eyes were now wide seeing the place he'd brought her and Kiaan had a blank look.
Taking her hand in his for the second time, he lead them towards the park where they'd spend their time mostly playing with each other.
He straightaway went to the corner of the park and bent down on the exact place he remembered. With his hands, he started digging in the position he remembered and a few minutes it revealed a crumbled, old paper.
By now Natasha had bent down just beside him and he took the paper out which certainly was their contract. Placing it just in front of her eyes, he held it with his fingers just from the top only to tear it.
Natasha had a straight face and let him do whatever he wanted. By now he had teared the contract in a merciless way resulting it in shreds.
"Natasha." Kiaan breathed out after moments of silence and she immediately lunged towards him wrapping her arms around him.
"Kiaan, why did you do this?" Natasha asked still hugging him.
"You know why." Kiaan responded lifting her head gently.
"But you're my bestfriend." She cried.
"I was your bestfriend and I still am. But now I am your husband as well. You once said that you're worried about what could happen with us, right? These things are happening Nat. Where I cannot suppress my feelings anymore. I cannot live my life like we used to before." Kiaan explained.
"What feelings?" She asked adorably still crying.
"My feelings for you. You always have been the only girl in my life as my bestfriend and now you are as my wife. How couldn't I have developed those for you? When you would keep caring for me 24*7 before and evsn now. How can I let those facts go away which I feel and think? Is it wrong for me to like my bestfriend in this way when there's no one in my life besides her?" He reasoned running a hand through her hair.
"But I feel these weird things in my heart and body when kiss." She pouted.
"Like butterflies in the stomach?" He asked with a small smile and she instantly nodded.
"And you like it when we do it?" He asked again.
"Very." She replied and he grinned.
"Then why do you hesitate?" He questioned.
"Because you are my bestfriend and then things would be weird for us." She replied pouting.
"We will not let things to be weird between us Nat. If we like to do these things and the fact that we are also married, what's better than this?" He asked.
"We are." She said nodding.
"And now our contract is also completed. We are no longer bound by the promises of a bestfriend, but by the promises of a life partner." He said grazing her cheek with his fingers.
"And what if it won't work?" She asked making him sigh.
"Is there anyone else in our life apart from each other? Do you think we can live without each other?" He asked making her stand.
"No." She shook her head at his every question.
"Then? Just think about the fact how happy we are going to be in our lives. And which couple doesn't have problems? Almost everyone does and they solve it which we are going to do as well." Kiaan explained.
"And you were the one that day who was telling me how we are with each other and what we should do. What has changed now?" He continued pulling her for a hug.
"That's only because I was scared for us. You are the only person left who just cares about me and I don't want to lose you at any cost." She replied shrugging.
What she said was true. Although she has her family, but deep down the only person she cares about is Kiaan. She thinks it's because they are bestfriends and have always been together since many years. But she also knows she has tried to suppress the feelings which started to develop many at times for the only man in her life.
Pulling his face to her side she made him look directly in her eyes.
"You were my bestfriend who was supposed to bicker with me every single time just to annoy me, but I couldn't help, but to feel more affectionate towards you. I didn't even realize when things changed, but I am glad they did. I have realize this Kiaan that you're the most important part of my life which I cannot let go away at any cost." She continued smiling.
"And the same case is with me Nat. I want you by my side forever as well. Let's see what life has planned ahead for us?" Kiaan responded with a smile of his own.
"I am in." She said instantly.
The very next moment Kiaan's lips came crashing down on her in a very heated kiss. This time none of them was feeling weird or skeptical about it. They let everything out freely and savored every moment of this.
"Let's go." He muttered pulling her outside the park.
In a haste both of them reached back to his penthouse. The whole way neither Kiaan's nor Natasha's smile stopped. There was nothing better than the feeling of knowing the person whom we have feelings about feels the same way. The same person who they care about with no bounds.
"Kiaan-" Natasha started as she stepped in the living room, but was cut off by Kiaan.
"I can't get enough of this." He groaned attacking his lips on her for another kiss.
"Neither can I." She mumbled in between kissing him with the same ferocity.
Both of their hands were roaming on each other trying to feel in the presence. He picked her by her arms and in return she wrapped her legs around his waist to balance herself.
"Nat." Kiaan groaned when she tucked at his hair.
"I love you." He continued looking straight in her eyes.
"I love you too." Was her instant response and this time it was nothing, but love. Pure love like a woman loves her man.
"Take me. Make me yours Kiaan." Natasha murmured looking at him.
"Oh, you were already mine since years." He said huskily leading both of them to his room.
Without bothering to look anywhere else, he directly laid her on top of his bed and himself got on top of her. Natasha was panting heavily due to their makeout sessions minutes ago, but today she wasn't stopping at any cost.
He placed feathery kisses on her jaw trailing down to her neck. His teeth came in contact with her collarbone, sucking there. Natasha let out a small moan at the contact which encouraged him even more as he sucked there more harshly drawing his mark.
His lips trailed down to the valley of her breasts leaving wet kisses the whole way. Natasha was in a haze seeing him like this.
He reached for the hem of her shirt and glanced up at her once again.
"Are you sure Nat?" He huskily asked.
"Yes." She let it out and his lips came crashing down on hers again.
The next few hours both of them were in a world of euphoria where two souls connected with passionate lovemaking. They were bound to end up together and the same happened. In the best of ways they both filled the empty spaces in each other's heart and lives without even knowing. It has always been just the two of them, together forever.
The room was filled with with their moans while their body was covered in sweat. These two became one without any doubt about their feelings and future.
