The place where dreams come true. At least his dreams. He was headed there now, on the dropship that was supposed to take them straight to the top of MIRA HQ, where he and 11 other unbeknownst people would travel on Mission Surreptitious 5.

Five. As in other people, 4 other crews to be exact, had attempted this mission and failed before them.

He sighed and laid back in the plush seat. He counted only 11 people, including him, on the dropship.

Everyone sat at least 2 seats away from each other. Most of them were on their phones or listening to music. A few were gazing out the window into the vast ozone layer, watching as the tiny speck of gray became bigger and bigger until it was completely revealed to be MIRA HQ.

The dropship, a large gray flight shuttle that was much like a bus, wove through the white clouds and entered the headquarters through and opening in the side of the tallest building in the world.

The intercom beeped and the sound of a man's unenthusiastic gruff voice filled the passenger cabin, "Alrighty space explorer's you've reached MIRA HQ, but do you have what it takes to get to space?"

I do, he thought. He was going to make it to space. He brushed his curly brown hair from his face and stood at the exact same time as the other 10 passengers. They stepped into the aisle and walked neatly in a single-file formation to the front of the Dropship, where the door was located.

Yes, I came up with the MIRA acronym at the beginning. So basically the whole book is based on the game Among Us, and I just fill in plot holes and juicy details.
