Some moments etch permanent marks on our hearts that nothing can ever erase. For me, that moment was the day we saw the Ravenna system.

We were not sure where to look first since all the wondrous planets were begging for our attention. Their colorful essences were a wonder to behold, and I don't think the ship had ever been as quiet as it was that day. For the first time, we were all stunned into silence.

Fifteen majestic planets stood before us in perfect alignment. Their diversity was too enormous for our minds to grasp, having been used to biases of our worlds.

"That's..." someone said, breaking the spell.

"Magical," I continued their thought.

"What do we do now, captain?" Jackson asked.

"What else? Explore! We owe it to ourselves and the people back home, to investigate this new universe. When we finally return home, we will be able to give them an extensive report of what's out there." I said confidently.

"Where to first?" he asked.

"How about that planet?" I said, pointing my finger at the crystal blue planet that was closest to us.

Its color reminded me of home, and I wished to learn as much as I could about it. Perhaps it could become our home away from home.

"Jessica, what are the readings saying about the planet?" I asked one of the crew members.

"Diverse life forms are present on the surface of the planet," Jessica responded immediately.

"Any intelligent life forms?" I asked.

"Yes, I am picking up a humanoid species. Captain, it seems to be a water-based world with highly developed technology," she said.

"What are oxygen levels like?" I asked, expecting there not to be enough of it for us to breathe without difficulties.

"Oxygen levels are stable. Their water appears to have a different chemical composition than ours." Jessica said.

"Does that mean we would be able to breathe without problems?" I asked.

"Yes, captain." She confirmed.

"Very well, let's explore then," I said.

Although most of my crew was interested in investigating a new world, not many of them were brave enough to do so in person. Thus, I agreed to allow Yppa to accompany me, and I believe that decision has helped with the bonding between our two species.

Laraia turned out to be a great planet to start our exploration with, as it is a peaceful planet with friendly humanoid creatures with mermaid-like tails.

Yet, we did get in trouble from time to time. Mostly as a consequence of our unfamiliarity with local customs and rules.

Nevertheless, we always manage to come out unscathed, well almost intact. There was that one time when we thought we landed on a planet, but it turned out to be a giant space bear.

A few other instances come to mind, yet we always come out on top, and that's what matters.

We do our best to find our footing in this time and place, even though Space Titanic has been on the brink of sinking a few times. Still, with combined efforts of humans and Lunars, we persevere.

Of course, we are still trying to find our way back home, and I am sure that one day we will succeed in doing so.

Until then, we go on where no man or Lunar has gone before, and we do it together. The bond that was created among us by circumstances is much stronger than anything I could have imagined.

Yet, it is not surprising. After all, in this colorful new world, the only ones we can truly rely on is each other, and we do so with a newfound respect for each other's strengths and weaknesses.

We got a new lease on life, and we are using it to the best of our abilities.
