The two boys left Jimin's house and ended up on a swing in the middle of the park, talking to each other about random things. Taehyung didn't want to, he wanted to avoid the younger. But he couldn't just leave him in the dust. So there they were, sitting on swings as they chatted their lives away.

"How are you not hungry?? you haven't eaten all day"

"I swear I'm not, that hospital gave me a shit tone of food" Jungkook laughed. Taehyung rolled his eyes and looked into the distance.

"What did they give you like 6 meals a day"

"Basically"

The two chuckled and stared into the random distance, silence taking over them until Jungkook spoke up.

"Do I have a girlfriend?"

Taehyungs face shot up In the direction of Jungkooks after hearing the question. 'Shit why did he ask that' The older thought.

"Uh.. Jungkook?"

"Yeah?"

"You're gay"

Jungkooks eyes became giant circles and his cheeks lit up. His smile turning into a straight line.

"I'm...what??"

Taehyung sighed.

"You're gay Jungkook. You like boys"

"Well, well how do you know?!" Jungkook exclaimed. Forgetting that Taehyung knew literally everything about him.

"Because I'm your best friend?"

Jungkook got even more tense. The last thing he thought he was was.. gay. Not that it was a bad thing, but still.

"Oh.. well then did I have a boyfriend?"

Taehyung hesitated to speak, not wanting him to know that they were exes. But he just didn't know what to say.

"Uh.. uh yeah.."

"Who?"

Taehyung fiddled with his fingers. 'Think Taehyung think'

"You wouldn't know him anymore, you guys broke up and he moved away"

Jungkook frowned.

"Oh.. well what was his name?"

"I don't remember"

Taehyung secretly wiped the imaginary sweat off his forehead. He noticed Jungkook looked sad, his eyes looked droopy and his lips were curved in a small little pout. Taehyung couldn't lie to himself, he looked so cute.

The older stood up, standing right in front of the younger who was sitting on the swing with his head down low.

"C'mon, lets not let this ruin the mood. Lets get some food." Taehyung smiled as he pulled Jungkook up, noticing how the youngers cheeks rose as he smiled and how his eyes made cresents and-

'STOP TAEHYUNG' he told himself. He dragged the boy across the street to a small little ramen shop. Jungkook squealed.

"Ah this place is so cute!"

Taehyung smiled at the boys cute action as they both walked inside, looking around at all the furniture. They sat themselves down at a table.

"How old am I? I can't believe I haven't asked that yet haha." Jungkook asked while smiling. Tae chuckled.

"21"

"Damn I'm old, what about you?"

"I'm 23"

"Ha you're even older, grandpa" Jungkook teased as he smirked at the older. Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows as he glared at the younger. The two ended up laughing until their ramen came around, eating away at the yummy noodles.

An hour later, the two were in Taehyungs car heading home. Well, to Jungkooks house first to drop him off.

This time in the car, they weren't silent. They were talking and laughing and enjoying their time. Taehyung didn't seem to realize but the two were having fun together, which was something Taehyung would not expect to ever happen again.

Both boys made it to Jungkook house. Taehyung hopped out of the car to walk Jungkook to his door. Once they got to the door Taehyung began turning around.

"Bye Jungkook, see you." Taehyung waved goodbye with a smile. A smile wasn't something he wore for a while until now.

"See you too Tae! can we hang tomorrow?" Jungkook asked.

"I'm busy tomorrow, but we can hang the next day. Text me what you want to do, your phones on your bed. Your password is 0000 and you'll see my name in your contacts. Bye" Taehyung said as he fled to his car, not looking back at Jungkook.

Jungkook walked back inside the house once Tae left and closed the door. He walked up to his room and looked around for his phone.

"Ah there it is" Jungkook exclaimed as he picked up his phone from the bed. He typed '0000' into the password box and his phone opened up. His wallpaper was a picture of him and Taehyung hugging. They looked to be on top of a mountain. The two were smiling and clutching onto each other. Jungkook thought it was cute.

He laid on his bed as he opened up his contacts, looking for Taehyungs name. He searched in the 'T' column for it but he didn't see his name. He furrowed his eyebrows as he kept looking.

He finally cam across a name on his contacts that said 'baby tae💖'

"why is there a heart next to his name lol"
