AUDREY POV

1 YEAR LATER

"Can I hold him?" I asked Caroline.

"Of course!" She said while handing me her adorable baby.

Xavier and I had come to London to visit Caroline and Ian's new baby.

"What's his name?" Xavier asked.

"His name is Henry." Ian responded.

The baby was so small. He held a tight grip on my finger.

He had beautiful blue eyes like Caroline, and dirty blonde hair.

I gave the baby to Xavier so he could hold him. 

He carefully grabbed Henry, making sure to be extra careful.

"I'm so happy for you guys. I know how much you wanted a baby."

Ian and Caroline both looked like proud parents. You could see how much they adored their child.

Xavier and I stayed in London for a few more days before heading back to New York.

I finally started working back at my flower shop. My granny had also started working with me again since she came back to New York.

She was living in our old home. The little cottage I grew up in with my granny, before I moved in with Xavier.

All was good.

"I'm closing up shop now granny. I'll drive you home." 

I put my things away and we both headed out.

"I love you sweetheart. Say hello to Xavier for me." 

She loved Xavier like a son. 

"I will. You're still coming tomorrow for dinner right?" 

Occasionally my granny would come over for dinner. She'd always bring me my favorite home made honey citron tea. 

She'd make it from scratch and It always reminded me of my childhood.

"Of course. And I'll be bringing you your favorite tea like always." 

"Thank you!" I waved goodbye and then headed home. 

Xavier still hadn't arrived so I decided to make myself a cup of tea.

It had become a habit of mine to drink it almost everyday.

I reached for the container with my favorite honey citron tea.

The item I wanted was on the highest shelf and my height of 5 feet was of no help whatsoever.

This would surely be impossible for me.

I stood up on my tippy toes hoping I would be able to reach for the small jar.

It was then that I felt a warm presence behind me and a large hand reaching for the jar I was so desperate to grab.

I tried to reach for the jar once again, hoping this person would give it to me, but they placed it down on the countertop.

I giggled knowing exactly who this person was. 

The strong arms of Xavier were wrapped around my small frame. He hugged me tightly from behind as he gave me butterfly kisses on my neck. 

“I want my tea, let me go.” I said as I giggled.

This man was like a child who didn’t want to let go of his precious teddy bear.

“No, I want you.” He whispered. 

I began to feel him touch the side of my leg and then go higher, feeling my leg from under my dress. He gently rubbed his hand on my inner thigh and began to tease me as he lightly touched my core. 

“Please, stop…” I whispered to him. 

He needed to stop or I knew this would end in our bedroom. But Xavier was hard to push away.

“I'll kiss you if you stop!” I quickly said. 

My body was heating up and everytime I felt his tender touch it made my body weak. 

This seemed to get a reaction out of him because he immediately stopped. He slowly turned my body for me to face him and he picked me up as he sat me on the kitchen countertop.

He moved his body in between my legs and pulled me close to him as he wrapped his hands around my waist. 

“Very well then princess, I will allow you to drink your tea but only if you kiss me first.”

I didn't normally initiate kisses. He was usually the one to surprise me with a passionate kiss or a small peck on the lips. 

My heart was beating fast from how close we were and the way he looked at me.

His eyes were an aqua blue that could hypnotize anyone. He smelled of expensive cologne and with every breath I took, I could smell his enticing scent.

This man was dangerously handsome and it made it harder for me to concentrate on what I was supposed to do.

“Close your eyes, please.” I said to him.

Luckily he did as I asked him. He looked so innocent with his eyes shut as he waited for me to plant a kiss on his lips.

I began to brush his hair feeling how soft it was. Then I caressed his handsome face.

He leaned in to my touch which let me know he was enjoying this. I saw a glimpse of that beautiful smile of his starting to form.

I then leaned in and pressed my lips against his. He immediately pulled me closer to him as I felt his arms tighten around my waist. 

We moved our heads side to side as we followed a rhythm. Xavier was an excellent kisser.

I felt him put his tongue in and we shared a passionate kiss. It felt good being encased in his arms. He was so kind and gentle with me.

We finally stopped as we rested our foreheads against each other. 

After calming down, we had dinner.

I asked him how his day was and he did the same. 

Being near Xavier felt so natural. I felt so content being by his side.

After we ate, we headed to the living room and decided to watch a movie.

I sat on the couch and Xavier laid down, resting his head on my lap.

I gently brushed his hair knowing he liked it. He loved it when I touched him.

"I love you princess."

I smiled.

"And I love you."

(This is the end of the book. I'm sad to see it come to an end but don't worry I'm working on the second book to this series.
