Amilyn awoke with a start. She whipped her head around looking around for her surroundings, her long blonde braided hair spinning around her. She relaxed and buried her face in her hands. Same dream she thought. Why did it keep coming back to her? Why couldn't she just let go?

"The past can hurt but learn from it."Leia always told her. It's impossible to learn from the last of you still feel guilty for what happened and knew it was your fault. The past was pain more than a thing to learn from is what she learned. 

She'd trained with Leia after the temple collapsed. Her training prevailed through all the small battles or small victories that came with it. She met her friend Poe Dameron through her piloting training.

Poe Dameron. He was the best resistance pilot they had. Also, her greatest friend she had since the day her father disappeared. It is quite odd a pilot and Jedi could be friends on the same page as everybody else was. But Poe was just an amazing person to be around when things seemed to go wrong, he always found a way to get everybody out alive.

It has been seven years since Ben destroyed the temple. Since her father left..... Everytime the thought of her father it felt like there was a stone in her stomach. It was a lot of weight she put on her shoulders thinking of why he left. Why would he leave his own daughter right then and there? Well, she'd have to get out of bed before Leia worried to much about her.

She grabbed her brown leather jacket from its hook and buttoned it on herself. She flattened the Phoenix symbol patch on her right shoulder blade. She flattened her tanning white shirt and tucking in her pockets in her pants.

She breathed in the air of the small room. She grabbed her brown leather belt hoisting it above her waist. She attached her lightsabers to the hooks as she placed them on either side. She walked out the door that opened for her as she was greeted by Leia.

"Same dream again?" Leia asked her. Leia had her gray hair up in a braided bun, that was showing a beautiful pair of gold earrings. She wore a small uniform the crew had made with a small purple jacket and resistance pin on her jacket. Leia's wrinkles were more visible now, but showed her wisdom in her friend Poe's opinion. 

"I want to let go of that night...so bad....but I feel that I'll meet up with Ben soon." Said Amilyn following her aunt. It had been 7 years since her father disappeared and Ben had joined the first order.

The first order. As if a mouth full of poison filled her mouth thinking about them. They were the remains of the once Empire, her Aunt Leia and father went. But they were strong, odd they appeared out of nowhere that night. They had her cousin Ben after all...Ben. It felt like her heart dropped everytime. It felt as if she could never let go of him.

"We'll find away to get him back. Good news on your father!" Said Leia lighting the mood more cheerfully. Leia usually was able to do that when's he knew her niece was depressed or haunted by her past.

"What is it?" Asked Amilyn. Her father! She was happy everytime Leia found out something. She missed her father deeply. She couldn't help it. Joy seeped though her sad look to Leia who smiled at her nieces excitement. 

"We found a piece of the map. It's in the hands of an old friend Lor San Tekka. I'm sending Poe out there." Leia explained to Amilyn. Amilyn's face changed when she said Poe.

"Poe! Send someone else!" Said Amilyn. Poe had been her friend since the day she got to D'Quar. He was a pretty smartass guy. He was only a few years older than her. But something about this mission made her feel uneasy.

"Poe volunteered himself. He's our best pilot. It's okay Amy, he knows what he's doing." Leia said reassuringly to Amilyn.

"I just have a weird feeling. Like something's telling me somethings going to happen." Said Amilyn. As if something had come back to her. The uneasiness, the fear, and the feeling of darkness.

"You probably want to say goodbye to him. This happens everytime! You get nervous over your friend getting hurt." Said Leia

"You're right." Said Amilyn smiling and walking off to docking bay. Amilyn picked up the pace as she ran to Poe's X-Wing. 

"Why don't they just kiss already?" Leia muttered under her breath walking away from the docking bay doors.

(Poe's POV)

"Hey steady put BB-8 in gently." Poe said to the mechanics. The little round orange and white droid beeped. It sounded like do what my master tells you. Poe smiled to himself. He pulled his leather jackets collar up more as he watched them settle BB.

Another Adventure. Excitement. Luke Skywalker  could be found today or later than that, but who cares! They'd be able to get to him before the first order does. 

"Poe!" Said someone behind him. He looked behind to see Amilyn running toward him. He smiled as they wrapped in a friendly embrace.

"Hey Amy!" He said smiling as he hugged her. Her blonde braided hair against his head as they hugged. His oldest friend, Amilyn Skywalker. Luke's daughter, whom he left all those years ago. Why would he leave her, and why give her to Leia? The would hopefully be solved soon.

"Were you not going to tell me you were leaving?" She asked him looking up at him. Her deep brown eyes meeting his eyes. She always cared that he was going into a dangerous mission as others would say. They also asked if they were more than friends. Ridiculous! They were just friends...everyone knew that!

"Well, it gets us closer to find your father. And heck I want to help my friend find her father. But another time to get up in the stars for a mission is another reason." Poe said

"Haha! You and your pilot brain." Said Amilyn. She smiled at him as she let go of him. "Be careful! Promise me that!" She looked at him seriously as BB-8 beeped at them.

"I will be! I always am!" Said Poe reassuringly.

"May the force be with you." Said Amilyn watching him walk away to his X-Wing. Poe got in strapping on the belt around his chest, and putting on the old black helmet that smelled off...well it needed a good cleaning soon.

BB-8 beeped. The droid asked him on the screen as he read the words directly. "So your girlfriend will miss you?" That lovesick droid. Why did everybody think that? 

"Buddy how many times!?! She's just my friend." Poe said as he flipped the switches and pulling the ship out of docking bay. He flew out into the unknown space void. A new day. A new adventure.

(Amilyn's POV)

She watched as Poe took off. She worried a little bit as she knew he won't come back for a while. That flyboy always came back she reassured herself. 

But then something felt like it hit her directly as if someone through a stone at her. She turned to see a girl starring at her. The girl was cleaning a scrap or a bit of machinery. The girls brown hair was tied in triple buns. Her clothing was tanned white that was looking like scrappy cloth. 

As Amilyn turned away, she saw a dark mask lunge at her with a cross guard lightsaber. She stumbled back, falling on to her back. The mask was the mask of Kylo Ren. Ben. She starred at her and lunged at her again as she heard a scream. 

Poe! She thought getting up. She looked at the mechanics starring at her. She'd snapped back into reality as if nothing happened. Amilyn breathed heavily as walked back to Bay. She had to tell Leia. Something was wrong...Poe might be as well gone forever. If she doesn't do something.
