Ana's Bedroom

David, Ana, and Jimena are already in the bedroom

they are about to watch a movie

David: Jimena, Did you brought chips and soda? [Connecting some cables at the tv]

Jimena: Yeah! [Rising the chip and soda with both of her hands]

David: [Turns around, looks at Jimena] Just that? Apparently you are not eating...

Jimena: No, I wanna lose ten pounds. Zero carbs, for a month...

David: [Rolls eyes] Alcohol is sugar, so... just saying

Jimena: [Annoyingly confused] I said zero carbs, no sugar

David and Ana look at each other

Ana: Jimena, but sugars and carbs are the ones...

David: don't even bother

Pause

Ana: I'll get some chips, I owe her some money

David: Ok, [Resumes to connect the speaker to the tv]

Ana leaves the stage

Jimena sits on the floor and open the bag of chips

David: Eureka! [shouts] I did it! I can finally use this home theatre

Jimena: [Chewing] Something is wrong with Ana

David: How would you know? [figuring out how to use the remote control]

Jimena: I don't know... I can feel it

David: What do you mean by that? [grabs the manual]

Jimena: She offered herself to go to the store! She doesn't even bother to eat if she has to get up of her bed!

David: I guess she is just hungry [reads the manual, while looking at the remote control]

Jimena: David! [Snap fingers] Focus here! The tv can wait!

David: [Leaving the remote control in a table near by] Well?

Jimena: She is acting nicer!

David: She is always nice

Jimena: David, is Ana we are talking here... She is nice only when you are around—

David: —Don't!

Ana enters the stage with the food

Ana: I'm back!

Jimena: Sweeet!

David: Ana you can trust us! Tell us what is going on

Ana: huh?

David: [Comes close to Ana] Ana its fine if you don't want to tell us, but I'll let you know that Jimena and I, would always be on your side. No matter what

Ana: I should resume my Spanish classes. I met an Albanian girl that learnt Spanish from watching telenovelas

David: Why we haven't heard of this?

Ana: We just started dating this week

David: Still wondering why I haven't heard of him

Jimena: I though there were no secrets between us

Jimena: Wait ... I'm remembering ... Never mind, still no clue

David: ...

Ana: [Laugh] It's fine, no worries

Jimena: That's awesome but, I think you and David should be dating

David: I support that claim

Ana: Business ...

Jimena: Don't even bother

Ana: Joseph

David: Any last name?

Ana: Smith

Jimena: [Turns to look at David, then back to Ana] Sweety, he is not worth it.

David: Jimena Stop! Look I'll ask around if someone knows something about him. Just please do not listen to Jimena

Jimena: Joseph Smith? I don't think you should go out with him... Is not a good idea

David: How would you know?

Ana Goes of Stage, (to the other side, she went to cry at the bathroom)

David: Should I? [Points at the bathroom door]

Jimena: No

David: Should we stalk him on social media?

Jimena: No!

David: In my personal experience...

Pause

David: What was that all about?

Jimena: Joseph Smith has broken too many hearts to count. Just stating a fact

David: I meant the little telenovela that you put on stage

Jimena: If this berrinche, would avoid Ana for getting her heart broken, then let it be

Jimena: The thing is that I've been sleeping with Joseph for the past couple of weeks.

David: I swear to God, I cannot believe you! Can you be more irresponsible? You've been having sex with your best friend's boyfriend! Jimena, this has been your longest friendship. You've got to stop doing this!

Jimena: If we put it technical terms, I slept with Joseph before she even mentioned him, so...

David: Jimena just shut up! This it, We must fix this

David: Your stupidity, before you lose the last girl who actually likes you

Jimena: You mean, the last of my girlfriends who may actually likes you

David: Shut up

David: Its none your goddamn business; Its settle. You will stop sleeping with Joseph

Jimena: That's not it

David: Oh, there's more?

Jimena: We've been having sex for the past couple of weeks ...

David: That was already settled

David: Stop going around, tell me!

Both of them sit on the floor in silence, eating chips waiting for Ana to get out of the bathroom.

Ana: Guys stop. He invited me to a party...

Jimena: When? and Where?

Ana: At his house, and I'm not sure about the when. Probably I should ask him

Jimena: Do not texts him first

Ana: Why not? We've been texting each other for the past couple of weeks

Jimena: Do you text him first?

Ana: ... no

Jimena: That's a good sign

David: I mean, it looks kinda needy to text first. In my personal experience

Ana: So what do I'm supposed to do?

Jimena: Wait until he texts you the address—

David: —And from them you start to talk to him. Ask little questions. That's what I do
