|THIRTY FIVE| Interview
Dove's POV
It's been such a long time since I slept so peacefully for so many hours. I guess having Twilight beside me helps me sleep well. I could feel his hot breath in the crook of my neck. I'm ticklish, but if I push him away, he might wake up and I don't want that.
Last night was addictive, now I would want that to happen every night. I will turn more greedy towards him. I will want to keep him all by myself, with me forever.
He stirred a bit and his eyes slowly opened. He smiled when he saw me, and I returned the smile.
"Good morning, bunny," I mumbled as I pecked his cheek.
"Morning, kitten."
"Last night was ecstatic, you know," I said leaning closer to him. His face turned red which made me chuckle.
"You blush so much."
"And you are always flirting. It's only reasonable that I have to blush this much," he grumbled.
"Okay okay, I won't flirt more now. Let's go get ready, don't you have to be at your studio?" I asked chuckling.
"Yeah, I almost forgot! What time is it?" He asked.
"Past 9 maybe," I replied.
"Shit!" He cursed as he hurried out of the bed, not realizing that he was butt naked. I'm not complaining though, I'm getting a good view of his Godly sculpted body. Well-defined abs, and biceps with tattoos on them. The site is worth it all. I won't go much into detail about what other things I got to witness.
He realized I was staring at him and his face again turned red.
"S-stop staring!" He scolded as he picked his clothes up and rushed to take shower. I burst out laughing at his flustered sight and got out of bed. I picked up my clothes and wore them.
"I'm going to my room to take a shower!" I yelled loud enough for him to hear through the running water.
"Okay!" I heard him say.
On contrary, should I join him in the shower?
I thought for a moment before I smiled, and shook my head. He's getting late, and I don't want him to get more late. If I get in the shower with him now who knows how long we'll take to get out?
I exited the room and went to mine. I got ready to go for my work, when I stepped out of my room there was no sign of Twilight anywhere. Thinking he might be in the kitchen, I went to check, only to find the kitchen empty.
But he did prepare breakfast for me, and left a note;
Sorry kitten, had to leave since Luis was nagging me to go there. Don't forget to eat your breakfast ;)
Your bunny♡
I couldn't help but smile as I folded the note and put it in my jeans pocket. Normally I don't eat breakfast, but since he prepared it for me, it would be a pain to let it go to waste. So, I sat down and finished it. I should thank him when I see him in the evening.
I left the house after that and went to Hope records. I saw the receptionist which made me grin.
"Hope my name is there in your register today, Miss Cole?" I gave a sarcastic comment and laughed. Layla rolled her eyes at me not uttering a single word.
"My my! You are tamed? I wonder who did that?" I asked.
"Can you please, shut up? I don't want to get involved with you. Because of you, I almost lost my job," she spoke. Well, I just did a bit of something there actually. I told Charles how rude his receptionist is.
"How is it my fault that you almost lost the job cause of your rude attitude?" I asked tilting my head.
"Don't play dumb! I know you-"
"Ah! I'm getting late! Gonna leave now! Bye~"
I skipped further inside the building not interested in listening to her complaints. While I was on my way to my working room, more like the lounge area of the building since I constantly need people around and food to eat when I'm working, I thought the lounge was the best place for me to work.
I passed by Vinter's studio, and I decided to tell him that Twilight is staying at my place. Knowing Vinter, he must be going insane without Twilight right now.
I know knocking won't help since his studio is soundproof. So I opened the door a bit and peeked inside. I could see Nina's tall figure and Vinter's too. It looked like they were arguing about something.
"Vin, if you won't listen to me, your brother will face the consequences of it! Why not get back together with me huh?" She asked. "You don't have your soulmate, she's dating your brother right? And I heard from your mother that Twilight left the place."
I can see Vinter was losing his calm. Before I could step in Vinter roughly pulled Nina and held her jaw tightly. She winced in pain as I could see Vinter's face showing no remorse, just anger.
"Keep Twilight out of everything or else things won't end well for you, Nina Robbins. I mean it," Vinter spoke in a low threatening voice as he roughly pushed Nina away. This was my first time seeing Vinter being so aggressive.
"Or what? Huh? What can you possibly do-"
"Say anything further and I'm going to kill you, Nina-"
"Woah~" I stepped inside the room.
"Why don't we talk like matured adults instead of fighting physically? Vinter? Nina?" I spoke. I can't let Nina find out that Vinter knows about the sins, Lucifer will kill him and me before we can do anything.
"Stanley? Why are you here? Stay out of it, you don't know anything!" Nina glared at me. I gave her a cheeky smile.
"Ah! I might not know anything! But I can't let my soulmate kill someone right in front of my eyes now, can I?"
Nina lets out a small tch, I can't let her know that I know about everything or anything, that would be the troublesome cause then she'll start living more cautiously. I have to bring an end to her while she's oblivious about the involvement of the sins.
"Who are you to talk, murderer!" Nina yelled. I shrugged.
"Get over the past, Robbins. I didn't kill your boyfriend— I mean I could have saved him but..." I grinned. "Who am I to defy God!"
I cackled. Her expressions were great, wish there was a camera. I could have captured the scene. Vinter was oddly quiet, but it's good as long as he lets me handle this.
"I will ruin you, Dove. I mean it!" She spoke. I waved at her.
"Get out! I have work to do, and I will be needing Vinter's acquaintance in that. Get out before I kick you out myself," I shooed her away. She walked out of the room humiliated, and I turned to look at Vinter.
"Stop creating trouble for me, Harris," I spoke calmly.
"I'm sorry," he mumbled. "Twilight suddenly disappeared-"
"He's with me."
"What?" He asked.
"Twilight is living with me, at my place. He's safe," I said. He sighed, but then his eyebrows furrowed.
"Don't you live at your place alone?" He asked.
"Yes, and what about it, Harris? Are you jealous?" I asked with a smirk.
"What if I am?" He asked.
"It's only a matter of time, Harris before I break our soulmate bond. What are you going to do then?"
He just shrugged.
"Hey, Vin?! We have an interview to attend!" Dylan popped up out of nowhere. I sighed as I turned around to look at the pink-haired man.
"Hey, Dylan!" I greeted. He looked at me, and Vinter back, and forth. He gasped.
"Miracle! You are existing in one room without ripping off each other's throat?!"
Vinter rolled his eyes as he tucked onto my wrist.
"What happened, Harris?" I asked.
"Go with me, Dove. To the interview," he said. I raised my hands.
"I'm not meant for interviews, man."
"You don't have to participate in the question and answer, you just have to sit and listen. Since you are the lyricist, it would be good if you would tag along," Vinter explained. I sighed.
"Fine."
"Good," he smiled as he pulled me with him. Even though he said I don't have to participate in the interview, I will eventually have to answer the questions of reporters.
"The sight is rare but I'm not complaining," Dylan commented as his eyes were fixated on my and Vinter's hands.
When we reached the venue— luckily we didn't have to go outside as everything was arranged in the Hope records building, there were many reporters present there.
Few seats were arranged on the stage, maybe for the Raining Blaze members and Charles. I was going to stand in a corner but Vinter pulled me with him onto the stage. I took a seat beside Vinter, and on my other side, Tristan sat. Dylan was sitting on the other side of Vinter, and Charles was beside Dylan.
"Hello, Dove," Tristan greeted me as I looked at him and smiled.
"Hi! Tristan."
"I see you are getting along with Vinter now," he commented.
"Yeah well, he realized I'm not half bad as I seemed, so..." hearing that Tristan chuckled.
"Well, it's a good thing," he said. I nodded.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am Charles Perez, the CEO of Hope records. For the new music launch of Raining Blaze, I welcome you all here. My artists will reply to all your question. But please ask questions one by one, and as you might know the rules already. Do not ask for many personal life-based questions," Charles announced.
"I have a question," a reporter spoke. "Is it the Dove Stanley, present in this interview session?"
"Yes, sir. I'm the Dove Stanley. Pretty much present in this interview session," I replied with a chuckle.
"Unbelievable! Last time we tried to interview you, I heard a refusal from your side."
"Well, that was because, dear sir. At that time I was working as a freelancer lyricist, and right now I'm working with Hope records, I believe it is my duty to work according to my company's reputation," I answered.
"How do you feel like? Since you are the one who replaced Vinter," another reporter asked.
"Oh, dear! I replaced no one here. Vinter is very much a part of Raining Blaze as you can see, and I am not. I'm merely here to help these fine men write good songs nothing else."
"Vinter we heard you had a bad start with Dove. How does it feel like working with a genius who also comes off as narcissistic," the reporter asked.
"You people have great ways with words, don't you?" Vinter chuckled. "Dove's narcissism is worth it since she is a genius lyricist. Her words play as smoothly as music. I might have a bad start with her, but I sure am not regretting her writing songs for Raining Blaze, I hope I can work with her for a long time."
Vinter's words took me by surprise. I did not expect him to say that, since it is true that I did replace him as a lyricist. Did not expect that he would be glad I'm here knowing how much he loves music.
"Vinter we also heard that you and Nina are not together anymore. Was she not your soulmate?"
"You guys, who give you such news that Nina was my soulmate? No, she was not, and we broke up 'cause we were not working together well," Vinter spoke. It's interesting how he only lets out very few details about his personal affairs. If he wanted to he could have announced straight up that he has already met his soulmate.
The interview kept going on as reporters asked all the Raining Blaze members, me, and Charles questions. It was a pain to reply to their weird questions but I did it.
By the end of the event, I received a text from a private number knowing it must be one of the sins, I opened the text.
It was a location, and a message attached to it. The meeting with Bethany has been finally fixed, and it was today, in the evening.

I don't know what's more painful; the fact that reality is not fictional or the fact that fiction is not real.
I can tell what a person is like based on which Amethyst Desire character they like :)
