HAPPY BIRTHDAY SC!!!
South Carolina let out a long sigh as she scooted back from her desk, she had FINALLY managed to complete the mound of paper work for her state, and America too, since he was appearently "busy" and had no time to do it...
"Lazy jerk..." She muttered to herself.
She stretched as she stood up from her chair, looking forward to having a long nap after all that work.
A soft knock on her door proved otherwise as her sister burst through the door, making South Carolina jump back in surprise.
North Carolina had her short strait thin dirty blond hair that went only an inch past her shoulders.
Her slightly tanned skin was dotted with small, hardly noticeable freckles. And her baby blue eyes like the ocean waves were glimmering with excitement.
South Carolina adjusted her black glasses. Her sister was wearing her usual white tank top with orange stripes, as well as dark blue shorts and flip flops, with... She noted, of corse, long white socks...
'Could she look anymore dorky?' South Carolina wondered to herself.
'She looks like a 6 year old child...' She observed with a mental face palm.
Her sisters chest was nothing to look at either, adding to her child like appearance.
'He, flatty...'
However despite everything they were both rather close as sisters, not just as in relationship wise, but in appearance. You could even call them twins.
South Carolina had slightly lighter wavy blond hair that went a little past her ears, with a section of it braided and pinned to the back of her hair, and greyish blue eyes. Her skin was slightly tanned like her sister with freckles. She wore black framed glasses, which she couldn't see anything without...
She wore army green kahki shorts, and a dark blue and white tie-dye T-shirt.
(The colors of her flag.)
Both of the sisters wore a special necklace in the shape of a yin yang symbol. Both sisters had a piece of the necklace that the wore around their necks.
South Carolina had two horse hair bracelets on her left wrist, as well as a few of those loom bracelet things that were made with those little rubber band things.
She had white socks and dark blue and black sneakers. She was little bit taller then her sister, but only by about an inch, with NC being 5'4" (162.56 cms) and SC being 5'5" (165.1 cms)
The sisters shared many interests with each other including horses, painting, boating, creating things, and many other things.
The only main difference was that South Carolina got startled more easily... And was more picky about appearance and impressions.
But over all the two of them were rather relaxed most of the time.
"O-oh it's you sis... What do you want?" She questioned.
"Oh nothing much!" North Carolina replied giggling. "Common! I have a surprise for you!"
South Carolina raised her eyebrow, "actually... I was going to go and take a na-"
"Oh common! Quit being a sour puss!" NC scowled grabbing her sisters hand dragging her older sister out of the room.
"Hey wait!"
"Nope! Common already!"
'This won't end well...' SC told herself with a sigh as she was dragged to god knows where by her older sister.
Pretty soon NC stopped in front of the door leading to the living room.
"Ok! Now you need to close your eyes." She instructed.
"Why?" Her sister questioned.
"Because then it'll ruin the surprise."
"Fine..." SC agreed closing her eyes as her sister led her into a dark room.
"Ok you can open them now!"
As SC opened her eyes the other states and America jumped out of hiding.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOUTH CAROLINA!!!" They all cheered, causing the state to flinch.
"W-what is this?"
America laughed, "it's your birthday dude! Don't tell me you forgot that!!!" He cheered putting his arm around her shoulder and giving her a noogie.
Virginia walked up to SC putting her arm around her shoulder as well.
"Welcome to the old people club! 352 huh?" Virginia snickered.
"Damn you're old..."
"Shut up! I'm not old! Not as old as you!" South Carolina joined in.
Virginia just shrugged.
"Hey sis!" North Carolina chimed running up to her sister, her flip flops making a clacking sound as she ran, carrying a box. "Here, open it!"
SC stared down at the present. It was wrapped in Dark blue wrapping paper and tied with a glittery purple bow.
SC smiled softly accepting the present she began to open it. ((Ribbons are a PAIN.))
She carefully removed the purple ribbon and tore into the wrapping paper hesitantly, under the wrapping paper was a box.
"Wow! You got a box? Lame!" California commented snickering, which was immediately followed by Pennsylvania smacking him in the back of the head.
South Carolina ignored California as she opened the box, inside was a picture frame, SC could feel her heart skip a beat as she looked at it.
It was a rather old painting from back a long long time ago. Around the time of the civil war.
It showed her, NC, and Virginia from back during the battle of seven pines, during the 7 days battle of the civil war.
That day had been glorious for them, the confederacy had won that battle, though at great cost...
The picture was them with the general that had died during that battle... Joseph E, Johnson. As well as with Robert E. Lee.
Joseph had been a good friend of South Carolina's and North Carolina's as well... It was a pitty that he died.
Virginia smiled softly.
"This is from NC and I... NC came to me and asked if there was anything in the attic that she could give you. So I searched around and found that painting..." Virginia told her.
SC nodded. "I hope you like it... We both had to dig quite far in to find it." North Carolina told her sister.
SC smiled softly, hugging her sister.
"Thank you... This is the best birthday ever."
North Carolina smiled and hugged her sister back.
"I'm glad I could get something special for you... You mean a lot to me..."
((HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOUTH CAROLINA!!! Yep lol. I'll most likely do a lot of these, one for each of the states XD YOUR WELCOME LOL
But yeah. I thought it'd be cute to do dis.))
((The image above is a pic of SC holding the pic. Hope u like it!))
