Les I'm Miserable
I DONT OWN HARRY POTTER
Faye POV
My tie was itching my neck but I was way to exited to care. Hogwarts was loaded up on the train to go to Ilvermorny and I really didn't care enough to question how this was possible, which happened to be another side affect of me growing up surrounded by magic.
"Well, look at what we have here" I heard a cold voice behind me and I froze. "The little Hufflepuff is so exited to go to America, lets hope she stays there."
"Hey Alyssa" I said to her, dreading whatever was coming next.
I heard her and her lackeys enter the compartment and close the door behind them. I gulped.
Alyssa, in one quick motion, grabbed my hair and yanked me towards her as her foot met with my chest.
I fell to the ground, trying to regain the ability to breathe. Her lackeys were like wild dogs, kicking and punching and pulling at me and my clothes as I curled into a tight ball.
I felt tears fall down my face as Alyssa leaned down next to me "You will always be a weak, useless, worthless, crippled, ugly little Hufflepuff" she spat into my ear and I heard footsteps exit the cabin, shutting the door behind them.
I quickly dried my tears as I did my best to calm down my hair and smooth out my shirt, I would've used a mirror but that's pretty useless when your blind.
My excitement was gone but I still did my best to stay positive. I could get a new start at Ilvermorney, it will be fun.
I felt my eyelids drooping as the comforting sounds of the train lulled me to sleep.

Rowan POV
"Do I really have to go Luke" I groaned, flopping back onto my bed. I wasn't in an incredible mood today, sue me.
"I've already told you yes" He responded, rolling his eyes at me. I groaned again, people weren't a strong suit of mine, never were and the recent events in my life haven't done much to improve it.
"Why should i even go, knowing me i'll probably screw something up and embarrass the whole school" I argued.
"Since when have you cared about the reputation of the school" he said, turning to me with an accusatory look.
I bit my tongue, knowing that he probably didn't want to dive into the loads of trauma i had stacked up in my brain.
"I'm not going" i said one last time, i rolled over and faced the wall. I heard him sigh and as i heard the door close a single tear rolled down my cheek, I don't know how much longer i can keep acting like how i used to be.
I held my eyelids open for as long as i could, dreading what happens every time i close them. They eventually got too heavy and i gently closed them and what felt like instantaneously, i fell asleep.

I shot awake, tears brimming my eyes. Every night it got worse. I shot out of bed and grabbed my uniform and some shoes before sprinting out the door and into the passageway leading from behind a painting to a garden only accessible through the thunderbird or pukwudgie common rooms.
As soon as the night air hit my face the sob escaped my lips. I covered my mouth with my hands as i sank to the floor, shaking and sobbing until I couldn't cry anymore.
I stood up, still shaking, and slid off my clothes, knowing i was the only one awake so it was safe to change, or so i thought.
Just as I had slid on my bra a voice called out.
"Are you alright, I heard you crying".
I froze like a deer caught in headlights, my mind blanked as i saw a figure coming around the corner with both arms outstretched like they were feeling for a wall that wasn't there.
"It's alright, I'm only here to help" she said again, but not looking at me. It wasn't that dark out, could she not see or something.
"C-cant you see me" i tried to sound strong, normal, but my throat was hoarse.
Her mouth twisted up into a small smile.
"Hate to break it to you, but I'm blind" She said and i breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well, i hate to break it to you but I'm naked" i replied, reaching for my skirt. I slid it on, shivering slightly. I looked up to see a faint dusting of pink coating her cheeks.
"I'm so sorry" she said softly, bowing her head to the ground. I laughed slightly, startling her a bit.
"Well it's not like you knew" I said, still chuckling as I slid on my shirt and robes.
I rubbed my eyes, eyelashes still damp.
"You never answered my question though" She persisted, taking a slow step in my direction.
I stiffened, i hadnt talked about that night since it happened, and I wasn't keen on starting now.
"I'm fine, i just had a nightmare" I replied curtly, wincing slightly at my tone.
She continued walking towards me until she reached the bench where i was sitting, when she turned to me i noticed the scar traveling from above her eyebrow to her cheekbone, cutting across a milkey white eye, that contrasted her other brown one.
"What was it about" she pushed gently. I looked down, i had been doing my best to keep the memories locked away when I wasn't asleep, but she was the first person who seemed to actually care.
"My parents" i said quietly, a near whisper.
"Did they hurt you" she asked, i nearly laughed at the irony of that question.
I shook my head, then realized she couldn't see me do that. "They saved me from the people that did." I replied.
They had adopted me when i was eleven, and in those eleven years in the foster care system i had seen things that made me want to gauge out my eye balls and i had felt things that made me want to cut the skin that they had touched off.
"Then why were you crying" she asked, she turned to face me.
"I was crying because they're dead, and its all my fault"
