RagSan Short Story - Amending the Fate
Situation: The story happens after; Swara is missing at the home on her marriage time. Sanskar watched Ragini's nervousness, but didn't open his mouth. Dida blamed Ragini, that she would have done this. Ragini's dadi accused her, but Ragini planned to suicide. Let's see what happens?

Part 1

"Ragini, Where is Swara?" asked Sharmishta glancing at her, looking worried about Swara, who had gone to temple and still not came.

"I don't know maa, I didn't accompany her", she said faking, trying her best to make it sound genuine. "But I saw you leave with her", she told her still not convinced. "Maa, I went to give her Aarthi plate", she said half truth, and being it is true she said that bravely. So, Sumi convinced and told Ragini about her worry of Swara still not shown up.

Sanskar watched her from the corner of his eyes suspiciously, as she watched forth and back unconsciously thinking of something. He didn't know but he felt that something wrong was happening. He followed Ragini with her to the kitchen silently, he saw Sumi aunty sat destitute, holding her head in her hand. "Maa, Don't worry shona would be fine", Ragini assured squeezing her hand, giving her water.

"She had not come, Ragini. I don't know why it is taking time for her to visit temple", she said her worried. There is only one hour left for the groom people to arrive.
Sanskar felt like it was something, more over he felt like Ragini's hand on this issue. He picked his phone from the pocket of his Sherwani and called his secretary, Tarun. Moving to the side, so that anyone could not notice him, he called him, "Tarun. I need your help. It's emergency", he said hurriedly briefing him the explanation and asked him to search Swara nearby temple and inform him about her.
Fifteen minutes passed, he waited Tarun to call him and tell any good sign. Even Swara didn't come; it made him assure of that Ragini is involved in this matter. He felt bad for making her repulsive and that too against her sister.

He regretted making Ragini as a part of his revenge plan. He tapped his feet on the ground and his phone rang on that time, making him breath steadily. He picked the call and hold it near his ear, and Tarun informed him about Swara was pushed from the bridge, thankfully she is near the bridge the time they arrived.
Now she is unconscious. "We would get her to that venue once, Doctor checked her", Tarun replied on the other side. Sanskar thanked him for the timely help, and disconnected the cell phone.

He could not believe his own ears, the selfless girl who saved him when he had tried to murder her; she had been beside him and helped him. She even fought for his father to marry second time, but did something like that to Swara, it made him Angry on him for creating such a situation in her life. Now he had a resolution to all this, he is going to amend the turmoil he had created.

"Maa. Swara did not came", informed Sumi to her mother "Please call the bride", they hear one of the people came for wedding told them. "Yes", Sumi said worrying. "You gone with her. Right", asked Dida to Ragini who is standing silently in the corner. "No dida", she said her voice choking a bit. "Then why are you nervous", she debated, yesterday only she had came from Hospital, Ragini had apologized on her own, for what she did. So, she had thought of giving a excuse but seeing Swara missing.

Her only known victim for her is Ragini. "Tell me. What you did to her",she shouted her, shaking her arms. It hurted Ragini to hear their scolding, beside it was pained for her to hurt the belief they have for her. "No dida. I didn't do anything", she whispered to her, tears rolling on her cheeks.

People gathered on the room, hearing the shouts. Maheswari family was also arrived their.

"Ji what happened", asked Annapurna sensing something wrong.
"Where is Swara?" Sujatha asked this time, finding Swara was not around.
"She didn't came", she replied fidgeting her saree pallu. "What?" Laksh quried, raising his brow. Sanskar watched the scene before him folding his hands.

"She might have done something to her", dida accused Ragini , held her hands tightly. Ragini winced in pain and said, "Dida it's hurting" struggling hard to free herself.

"I didn't do anything Dida. Believe me. Please. " Ragini cried loudly while sounding helpless.

"Aunty. Leave her. Why are you accusing Ragini for Swara missing", Shekhar came before dida and pulled her hand out of Ragini arm.
"She loved Laksh. She tried to kill me and Moreover she don't want Laksh to be anyone else", Dida listed her doing, looking at Shekhar.

"What? My grand daughter, you're telling my Ragini did this. While she is the one got Laksh and Swara on this marriage", Parvati said facing dida.
Dida glared at Parvati, and said "I'm on coma because of her. Remember I came to hall calling Sumi. That because I heard she talking to someone about stopping this marriage" Dida informed them, as she eyed Ragini who is crying silently.

"My Ragini could never do like that", Parvati supported her, pulling Ragini beside her.
"Look Shekhar. What is she telling? She is accusing our Ragini.  She is accusing our Ragu. No one would marry her if she tells like this. Our Ragini was not evil like what she says. This is why I always told to you, don't marry this witch " Parvati said angrily to Shekhar who is standing shocked to think of what is happening.

Ragini pushed her dadi to the side and ran to her room. Sanskar ran behind her,  but she closed the door before he gets in. They all ran to her door, she took the rope and placed it on the fan, "I'm sorry Papa. I'm going to die. I can't hear their accusation. I don't want to be burden to anyone. I can't do any Hurt to my sister, but no one would believe. I can't keep hearing these accuse. I know after whatever happened no one will be willing to marry who is implicated for her sister's missing. I don't want to be burden papa", She told them looking through the window. Putting the knot on the rope, she put her head on the rope.

"Ragini. Please come beta", Sumi and Shekhar shouted. While Sanskar and Laksh hit the door to open. "Ragini. Don't do something like that", she heard Laksh pleading her. Sanskar rolled the sleeve to his elbow, and pushed the door forcefully.
"Ragini", He called her lovingly, she turned to see him acting normal in front of family.
She stood on the chair and slipped her head in that moment hanging herself in the rope. Shocked by Sanskar had gained memory, they ran to help Ragini. Sanskar took the chair and made her stand on the chair asked for water.
She sat on the chair coughing badly, he gave her water. Shekhar ran to his daughter and hugged her. She put her hands on his shoulder. "You didn't care about us", Sumi blamed her, as tears rolled over cheeks. She patted Ragini's head lovingly.

" Ragini. Suicide is not a solution. " Shekar condemn her.

She felt a hand grabbing her forcely and pulling her. "Sanskar. What are you doing", Durga prasad asked him, seeing him pull Ragini to the hallway. He felt like Why all the people doing drama on the single day?

He made Ragini stood before the idol, she saw him glaring at her. He turned to her, placing his hands on her shoulder, he asked "You asked who would marry you right", She stood silently hearing him, and nodded. "Wait", he said moving to the idol. He picked up the kumkum and placed it on her forehead swiftly before she could react.

"Sanskar", he heard everyone gasping at him. Even he was shocked at his own doing. He want to amend the things, he had did to avenge for kavitha's murder. He spoiled everyone life, he created the havoc in Ragini, and triggered her to become evil. So that she would help him in his revenging hand. His determination and everything didn't lessen until he saw what the true thing happened behind kavitha's murder.
It was no one fault, he was the one at fault to misunderstand them and messed up everyone life including him. But more he messed up is Ragini and Swara life, he know once Swara got married to Laksh, there would be changes in her life. Her life would be filled with colors because of happiness and her face would be because of shyness.
But what nudged him more is uncertain life of Ragini, who had changed into evil like the way he wanted. But now, he wants her to change. From the Ragini, he had known she would not marry anymore she would be ready to live her life as now she was.
Or she would surely destroy the Laksh and Swara happiness.
He don't yearning to see this neither of both. He looked up to see Ragini, the pure soul from heart; she is crying silently her tears are falling from her eyes.
She stood numb at her place, trying to perceive what was happening around. She wept silently, as she felt herself losing balance. She closed her eyes, as she could not able to see anything, her vision are fogged by her tears. She is about to fall, when she felt a pair of hand embrace her in his.
She became rigid at the thought of a man touching. She saw the person, her anger rose over her body, she strengthened herself this time.

Padi She struggled to relief herself from him, but he held his grip on her waist, pulling her closer to him, balancing herself on his shoulder strenuously, he saw the faces who are all shocked by him, balancing her on him, "You asked Who would marry you right?I married you. Hereafter you don't needs to Be accused for trying to snatch Laksh. Accept or not. You're Mss. Ragini. Sorry, Mrs. Ragini Sanskar Maheswari", he said sternly and making it clear to them.

She saw him once and fainted hearing him. She wished when she open her eyes, it would be gone, as nightmare. Only that was the wish.
