That night Amelia couldn't sleep. With a huff, she flung the covers off her and stood up. She threw on her robes and crept down the Hufflepuff stairs into the common room it smelt of flowers, firewood, and if joy had a small. Amelia grabbed a small lantern that sat on top of the fireplace a small lantern appeared in her open plan, and she threw it into the lantern. She smiled seeing the warm glow of the lantern flood the room. She was happy her powers were getting stronger.
Amelia slowly opened the portrait and sped down outside, her bare feet touching the cold stone. Amelia shivered. "Should have worn sokes," she mumbled and hugged her robes closer to her with her free hand.
Amelia had no plans on what to say if she got caught by a perfect or Flinch or worst of all Peeves. Ever since Amelia stopped up to him he has been trying to make her life a living hell. It took her three hours to get the extra sticking slime out of her hair that he had dropped on her. After wandering around with no encounters of anyone Amelia was about to head back. Amelia had become a bit tired and was sure by the time she got back she would be ready to sleep. That's when she heard it. The scurrying of small feet a shhh a yelp and the sound of feet running away. Amelia whipped around her arm outstretched with the lantern. She saw someone else also holding a lantern at the end of an empty hall but as Amelia grew closer she saw it wasn't anyone at all but her reflection. Amelia let out a dry laugh she couldn't believe she had been so spooked. It was a beautiful floor-to-ceiling mirror Amelia wondered if it was the one Harry had told her about. As she drew nearer she was proven right for her reflection wasn't the only one.
Mrs. Anderson, Mister Anderson, and Noah were all there waving and smiley brightly their fanged teeth on full display. Amelia chuckled softly and reached out to touch the mirror her hair and eyes subconsciously changing to match theirs. As Amelia's fingers gently erased the glass the mirror faded away and was replaced with people she didn't recognize. Amelia pulled away staring at the people in the mirror.
Harry. Harry was standing next to her with a big smile on his face. A man who looked very much like Harry but with hazel eyes stood behind him his hand on Harry's shoulder a bright smile on his face which showed in his eyes. A woman stood to the man's right with long flowing red hair that reached past her hips with bright green eyes that reminded Amelia of Harry's. Amelia chuckled in shock these people were Harry's parents. Her parents.
