Next stop was Flourish and Blotts where they bought all the books that Amelia would need for the school year Hagrid helped her reach the ones on the higher-up shelves. Nexy they got scales for weighing a collapsible brass telescope and potion ingredient. Amelia was rather fascinated by the potions store and was looking at everything and asking many questions some of which the shopkeeper had to answer for Hagrid. The man at the counter seemed rather happy that someone so young took up an interest in potion making and even told her about some other books she might be interested in none of which she had the time to buy though.

"Now on to bry yre wand!" Amelia smiled widely. She had been wanting to know more about magic wands and how they worked she planned to read all her books in between tomorrow and before she had to leave for Hogwarts.

She was rather excited to read Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them( A field guide for beginners) by Newt Scamander. She had heard rather good things about him from the nice lady at the bookstore. Hagrid had bought her a never-filling bag which looked much like the satchel in Tangled in Amelia's opinion and rented her a cart to hall her stuff on.

"I've never done magic before I hope I will be good at it." She chukled nurversly.

"Sure ya will! You're mother was the best witch of 'er age!"

"Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C." Amelia mumbled reading the wand and gasped. Wands were that old? They walked into the dark shabby store a bell ringing above the door. Hagrid sat down in the small chair by the door resting the umbrella next to him.

Amelia wondered why he carried it around. It wasn't big enough to do him much good. She wondered if it was some kind of weapon like on the British TV she had seen BBC something she couldn't remember something about crime solveing. A counter was in the middle of the small shop separating the small waiting room from the back where Amelia could see that thousands upon thousands of shelves were stacked on where boxes which she guessed held wands in them.

"Good afternoon," Amelia jumped and spun around to see an older man with shining eyes was now at the desk she was just looking at.

"Hi." She squicked.
