"I see you have met Matilda!" Hagrids voice boomed as he set down two bowls of piping hot stew on the table, and took a seat himself next to Amelia.

"Oh yes, I was just telling her about the house. This one is going to be in Hufflepuff I just know it!" Matilda smiled brightly.

"We could always use more Hufflepuffs now more than ever." Hagrid said and handed Amelia a spoon. "Hagrid where are you going to stay?" Amelia asked as she blew on her stew which was steaming.

"Don't werry bout me, I already made sure a room would be ready a few days ago," Amelia nodded and took a spoonful of her stew. It burned her throat but it tasted good it was savory and sweet perfectly spiced and hearty it tasted like autumn in a blow.

"Pumpkin?" Amelia asked confused Hagrid nodded. "Yep. Best pumpick stew in all of England." Amelia nodded and took another bite she had never had pumpkin stew before. She wondered if they had used magic to make it so good or if Tom was some kind of culinary genius.

After they had eaten and spent from more time talking to Matilda Tom came to tell Amelia her room was ready Hagrid wished her a good night. Tom led her up the dark stairway way only lit by the candle he hall in his hand. The hall was long and dark drafty even candles lined the walls all burnt out for the night as the dusty wooden floor crecked under her weight. Amelia saw that the people in the patins snoozed softy sound asleep just another thing she was captivated by in the magical world. Moving painting.

After a short walk, Tom stopped at a door and pulled out a key to unlock it. "Here you go, your room Miss Ovis. Enjoy your stay," Amelia took the key she glanced into the dark room.

"Thank yo-" She turned to see that Tom had already walked away leaving her alone in the dark hall. She took a breath. "Ok then."

She stepped inside and shut the door behind her, the room was dark except for the light of the moon peering through the window which allowed her to see as her eyes adjusted. It was a simple room. To her right there was a three-drawer dresser made out of pine that was a few inches shorter than her an old bed was on the far back right corner of the room the foot of the bed facing the left side of the room was near the window which was open allowing the white curtains to blow in the wind. A full-body mirror leaned against the wall in the far left corner of the room drearily across from the bed across the room from Amelia and near the mirror was a door which she guessed led to a small bathroom.
