"Kids could you come down here for a minute!" Mrs Anderson shouted up the stairs moments later the sounds of two kids stomping down the stairs was heard.
"Amelia there is someone here to see you," Amelia tilted her head confused. Who would want to see her? And about what? She and Noah walked into the room but froze when they saw the tall man almost the size of a giant in front of them.
"Don't worry I don't bite! I haven't seen ya seen you were a wee baby small thng you were too. Still have that scar above your eye I see. " Amelia stared blankly at the man who seemed to be filled with joy to see her.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" the man stood up revealing his full size towering over the small children. He reached into his coat pulled out a yellowish envelope sealed with red wax and handed it to the small girl.
Amelia took the letter gently opened the seal and read aloud.
"Dear Miss. Potter. My last name isn't Potter!"
Noah chuckled.
"We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31. Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress."
Questions zoomed through Amelia's head. "What do you mean Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?"
"You are a witch, Amelia,"
Amelia choked on air. Her a witch? Nonsense! No one has ever proven magic to be real( no matter how much Amelia wished they had). There was no way she could be a witch. She was too ordinary.
"So I'm not crazy. It is real! But there is no way I am a witch! And even so, where is this Hogwarts? How are you why are you here you said you knew me. It said Potter on the letter my name isn't Potter!"
It was fair to say she was freaked out. Questions flooded her mind like never before. Questions about her past she never knew she had, questions about her family, about this man.
"You aren't crazy! It is very real! Not many people know about it though." Noha cut into Amelia's rant, she stared him down. "What do you mean it's real?" Noah scoffed. "It is as real as you and me! That boarding school I am going to is for magic folk. You didn't really think we were human with these fangs did ya?"
He reached up into his hair and tugged pulling off the blonde wing to reveal shining silver hair. Amelia was stunned but not as stunned as she was when Noah took out his contact leans revealing blood-red eyes. Mr and Miss Anderson did the same.
"Wait you're vampires?! You told me those fangs were just a genetic flook that I didn't get!" Amelia shouted standing up from her chair.
Noah laughed so hard he floated a few feet off the floor clutching his stomach. "Of course we are vampires! We didn't tell you becouse we thought you would feel left out of the fun! But now you are a witch!" Mrs Anderson slowly brought Noah back to the ground.
"Why didn't you guess tell me?" Amelia asked turning to face Mrs Arderson who frowned. "We wanted to for years we just weren't sure how to tell you that you were adopted or that we were vampires we didn't want to scare you or make you feel left out becouse you are human." Amelia nodded slowly she knew she would have felt left out becouse she was human instead of magic.
"I understand thank you."
"Ner that thds settled I guess you have serm questions?"
