Harry tugged the cloak up again, but the damage was done.

"Harry!" Ron said, stumbling forward and staring hopelessly at the point where Harry had disappeared, "you'd better run for it! If Malfoy tells anyone -- you'd better get back to the castle, quick --" "See you later," said Harry, and without another word, he tore back down the path toward Hogsmeade.

Would Malfoy believe what he had seen? Would anyone believe Malfoy?

Nobody knew about the Invisibility Cloak -- nobody except Dumbledore. Harry's stomach turned over -- Dumbledore would know exactly what had happened, if Malfoy said any- thing --

"Well, he is in trouble. Want to go into the Shrieking Shack?" asked Amelia appearing beside Ron.

"What? We can't just let him get in trouble! And there is no way in?" With a sigh and roll of her eyes, Amelia jumped over the fence. "Relax Ron. If we can't get in we will head right back to help Harry and make up a lie on the way. And if we can get into the shack we won't stay long. No come on and hop your ginger ass over."

Ron groaned, tugging at his hair in frustration. "Fine, but if Harry gets in trouble, I blame you." He huffed and hopped over the fence, his boots sinking into the snow. "Dman it."

Amelia walked around the striking shack running her hand around the wall pressing at the wood testing for weak spots. "Can we leave now? I don't like it here," Amelia rolled her eyes and kept pressing at the wood. She hummed.

"All doors and windows are boarded up and the wood isn't rotted enough to smash though."

"Good, let's head back." hissed Ron's arms wrapped around himself to fight off the creepy chill of the meer presses of the Shrieking Shack.

"Wait a second! Wait herę!" Before Ron could see what Amelia was doing she had disappeared. Minutes passed and with a loud creak, the front door of the Shrieking Shack opened, Amelia standing in the door frame. "Mousehole. I turned into a rat and snuck through. Come on, this place is huge!"

Ron groaned and stepped into the Shrieking Shack, looking around him half expecting to see a ghost. A creak of the stairs made him jump. "JKust me. Come on, it's not even that scary in here. Haunted my ass."

Ron glanced at the old dust-coated walls as he walked up the stairs, holes in the walls letting sunlight and cold winter air through, dust littered the floor with a few mouse droppings. Though it was old and disgusting the Shrieking Shack was far from as scary as Ron had thought it once to be. "Hay, Amelia, you were right this place isn't so bad. Amelia?"
