Sorry for such a long wait for this new chapter, but my cousin has recently past this past month and I've been really busy with schoolwork and studying for the ACT test next Saturday. I'll let you get reading now. Hope you enjoy it!

*3 Months Later*
*3rd Person's POV*

Lily was now 6 months pregnant. Lily and James was growing very close to each other. James has gotten Lily's parents' permission for Lily's hand in marriage and was planning on asking her on Christmas day in the Great Hall in front of everyone. Remus has already asked Sirius to marry him the month before, which Sirius said yes. They were already starting to plan their wedding.

Emma and Severus was as close as close to be. If you saw Severus, you would see Emma close by and the other way around. They were inseparable from each other. It was very cute, but annoying to their some of their friends.

Lily and Emma haven't spoken to each other since their fight on the train. James has been trying to convince Lily to talk to Emma while Severus has been trying to convince Emma to talk to Lily, but neither would do it with an apology from the other.

There is going to be a Christmas Ball during our Christmas Break this year and everyone 4th year and above must attend. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years went home for Christmas Break while everyone else stayed at Hogwarts.

The Ball was 3 hours away and all the girls were getting ready while the guys chilled out for an hour. Lily had to get her dress modified, so it would still fit.

*3 Hours Later*
*Emma's POV*

I was to meet Severus outside of the Great Hall. I was finishing up my makeup in my dorm. My dorm mates were waiting patiently for me. I was finally finished and we all headed down to the Great Hall, where our dates were waiting for us.

Soon the Great Hall came into view, but I didn't see Severus. Narcissa and I spotted Lucius. He was talking to someone that I couldn't identify. Lucius was too busy staring at Narcissa and me to answer whatever the person had said to him. When Lucius didn't answer him, he followed the direction Lucius was staring at to me. It was Severus! Severus cut his hair short!

My mouth fell open in shock as his mouth fell open in amazement. I looked over at Narcissa and she smiled at me. I continued to stare at her. She rolled her eyes at me, grabs my arm, and drags me over to our dates, which gets me out of my stupor. Narcissa and I both reach up and close our dates' mouthes for them.

"Don't need you to catch flies," we say simultaneously. Lucius comes out of his stupor and whisks Narcissa off into the Great Hall. I give Sev a peck on the cheek, which got him out of his stupor.

"You look amazing, Emma," Sev says. "There are no true ways of expressing how beautiful you are in that dress." He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me as close as I could to him.

"And you look very dashing yourself," I pur into his ear. He shivers. I ran my fingers through his short, sexy looking hair. "I loved your hair long, but this hair style just makes you ten times sexier."

"Then, I might as well keep it like this," Sev says. "And I love your hair this curly." I kiss his cheek, again.

"Thanks darlin'," I say in a Texan accent.

"Was that a Texan accent?" he asks, blushing madly. I nod. "Why have I never heard it before now? Where did you get it from?" I sigh.

"I don't like to use it all the time," I say. "It can be embarrassing and annoying at some times. It's from when I snuck off to Texas for 2 months during the summer breaks after our 4th and 5th year by myself. I love it there in Texas. It's so amazing, Severus."

"Well, you'll have to take me there sometime in the future," he says. "Let's get into the Great Hall and dance our feet away." I nod and let him lead me into the Hall. We waltzed around the dance floor with everyone else for 2 songs straight. My eye caught someone start to leave the Great Hall and looked to see who it was. It was Lily. I stop moving and watch her leave. She walks out and I continue to stare at the door. A fellow Slytherin girl slipped out out a few minutes later. I turn my attention back to Severus to see him looking at me in concern. I give a reassuring smile.

"I'll be back, Severus," I say. "I have to use the loo." He nods and releases me. I walk quickly out the doors and search for the which way Lily and the Slytherin went.

The twin link I have with Lily, which hasn't been opened since the end of last year, suddenly opens.

(Author's Note: When Lily and Emma talk through the mind link, Lily will be like: 'normal' and Emma will be like: 'italicized.')

'Emma, I need your help on the 3rd floor!' I magic my dress and shoes into a shirt, jeans, and flats before running up the stairs.

'What's going on, Lily?'

'Get to the 3rd floor lavatory. Slytherin girl wants to take babies.' I barge into the lavatory to see Lily, still in her dress and shoes, on the ground with the same Slytherin girl as earlier across the room from her.

She sent a cutting curse towards Lily's stomach. I jump in front of Lily and let the curse hit me. It got mW in the side. I wince in pain as I help Lily up onto her feet.

"Go get help, Lily," I say. She nods and waddles put of the lavatory as quickly as possible.
