I grabbed his sleeve and told him to come along with me to the seat, he looked at me when I gave him a manipulative smile and nodded, C'mon baby I said gesturing him to sit. he sat while I served him some wine saying drink please to ease ur stress and bring u back winking at him... I saw his mouth dropped probably about to loose control. But before he could accumulate, we both heard an applause, I quickly drop down the flute and left looking so bashful, he also left while the mc gave a remarkable speech saying we both look like a couple which made every one smile and beckoned in agreement

You both look pretty good together, won't you tell me the truth?

Please Mary nothing, I don't wanna ruin your dinner that was the main reason i followed up aside that, you know i won't hesitate to shot down the offer to entertain.

She let out a chuckle and said we shall know the real truth when it becomes official. I ignored her when I heard the mc requesting the couples to come out and cut their cake.

It was so beautiful seeing both couples feeding themselves some cake for the first time i wish it was me.

He left to meet the groom while maryam came to me telling me to get prepared because the event isn't over yet, and i was like yoooh it's late already.

Well it's a cocktail party you won't wanna miss and it will be held in cocktail bar but it's strictly for youth alone and yeah there is gonna be couples entrance so get prepared to stay and spend time with me because I know how uncomfortable u are right now so I will suggest you go grab your Mr. before he's being taking by some lady.  Oops less I forget come lemmi introduce to you some of my friends!! she dragged me with, while on our way i heard a sound which made me wanna know what it was.

I signed and look over to his direction, he did look good with his hair pushed back which shows he removed his cap, he is busy laughing with his friends then suddenly he looked sight over my direction and he stopped talking. I'm pretty sure are eyes made contact for a whole minutes, well it felt like it, I then looked over to maryam but she is no where to be seen, I smile and heard a giggling and looked up it was zayyad {my chewing gum} I call him that because he's always around.

I hope you are ready for the next party? He asked, not quite sure because its getting late and I haven't informed anyone at home I was gonna stay this late. I should call aunt i concluded grabbing my phone.

We all at the cocktail bar were in pairs... Its quite interesting, while we were having a Convo, a waiter came holding a tray of wine, sweet cake, chocolate and a Cookie. He picked up a flute full of wine, cake and handed to me, to which i declined saying am full.

It was such a beautiful, organized and interesting event, we both bid good bye and left for home. while on our way to the parking lot, the cool breeze outside blows slowly making me wanna stand out for a while.

I ignored his statement and move into the car before he zoomed off, the drive was really slow as it is in the night and only a few cars are seen.
