Shivaay pov

After one month

I got up due to continuous ringing of my alarm. It's feel like I slept now only. Shrugging off the thought I make my way in washroom to do the morning chores. Last night I was working late on the project. As I had meeting today.

After doing workout taking shower I get ready for the day come downstairs to make breakfast for Ishaan.

In middle of cooking the breakfast. Om joined me.

" Good morning om " But he doesn't reply. That's what happening since the last month.

" Om "

" When did you slept yesterday?? " He asked crossing his arm in front of chest.

" I slept well you tell me what you will eat? " Because I know where the conversation going.

"Nice way to change the whole conversation. Shivaay look yourself in mirror you clearly need rest. You are working like a robot. "

" I always work like this only om you know this and I had meeting so better you stop right there. "

" How much you will run away shivaay. You know the truth. I  can't even understand how you are behaving normal after freaking whatever happened. "

" Then how you want me to behave tell me Om. Whatever it is it's over. I accepted that it's better you also do that. I really don't wanna talk about the same topic again and again. "

" Are you convincing me Or yourself shivaay. Because a only idiot can't see that you love.. "

" Not a word more Om. Not a word. I told everyone right we are not going to talk on that topic again."

" Shivaay "

" Breakfast is ready. Feed this to ishaan I am getting late for office. "

I said grabbing the coat.

" Atleast have your breakfast "

" Will eat something in office "

I made my way towards the parking where my car is already there.

I know everyone is worried about me but I just can't do anything. After that day it's take everything in me to be like this.

Next day after the whatever happened that night. When I came down at my usual time everyone try to talk with me but I didn't budge. And first time I saw fear in ishaan eyes when he came for breakfast. I realized what wrong I had done.

I tried to talk with him. Make him his favorite he come back to normal.

Even I apologized to gauri for my behaviour. I know everyone has question but I can't answer them. Even how many times gauri and om tried to talk .

From that day what all I doing is work that is what something keeping me sane.

I didn't realize when we reach office. I made my way towards my cabin.

After ensuring everything I came to conference room for meeting.

In middle of meeting my phone ring. I saw the name it's from Manav. He is another case for me to handle.

I keep my phone away. But it ring again. So I excused myself.

"Why are calling me again when I am not picking up your call. "

" Hello " Came different voice

" Who are you and why are calling from Manav phone "

" Here is man who met with accident and your number is on emergency list . We are taking him to hospital please come soon. "

"What where and how this happened."

" Car just hit him when he is crossing the road. So please come soon. I will send the address. "

" Please with him I will come as soon as possible. "

After ending the call I waited for the message God please keep him safe. This man seriously can't he properly cross the road.

I saw the address it's Delhi hospital address. Without waiting for a second I called khanna ask him to arrange the jet and informed my Pa to handle the meeting.

Delhi, the place I don't want to go. Because it will remind me about her. Our moments everything. Because it's all started from Delhi only. But for Manav I had too.

When I reached Delhi I told khanna to handle the media I don't want anyone to know about my visit in Delhi.

I was making my way inside the hospital when I saw Manav walking out from the hospital. He is looking absolutely right.

" Manav are you fine?? "

" Yess"

" Then why the fuck you called me here. " Is he insane if this is one of his prank he is gone today.

"Keep your voice down shivaay it's better we go somewhere else and talk."

" Why did you called me here?? " I said in the final tone. Now I am getting angry. It's a game for everyone whatever they want they can do.

" I said we will talk in my hotel room so better you come. "  I was controlling myself. Whole ride is filled with silence.

As we reached his room. He locked the room.

" Now will you tell me why did you call me here "

" Because I want to talk with you. If I asked to come here you will never so not having any option I had to call you. "

" Reason Manav. And it's should be better. You are really testing my patience. "

" Am I doing shivaay Or you are testing everyone patience. "

" What I had done?? "

" We also want to know the reason behind what happened a month ago. "

" Are you serious Manav you called me for this?? "

" Yes I am Shivaay and for God sake stop running away from this . "

" I am not running away . And I told thousand of time whatever it is it's between us. I don't have to tell this to everyone."

" Yes you are shivaay. Have you seen yourself. What you have to done to yourself.  You had become someone who is human version of robot.

All I know is you do one thing that is work work and work. Do you even eat food, take your medicines on time Or sleep properly, you don't even talk  to others shivaay. So stop pretending like nothing happened."

" Manav.. "

" You better not start with the crap. Everyone knows you loved bhabhi then why did you did that. Why??"

" I don't "

" Shivaay for once stop this okay " He shouted what happened to him. He never talk like to me never.

" You said you don't love her then why her pictures are there in your room and office drawer.  You say you  don't love her then why putting security for her now. If it is not love then why are you not the same shivaay that we know. Because the Shivaay is standing in front of me is not mine. He is not the Shivaay Singh Oberoi whom I say my friend.  From when you become so selfish shivaay?? "

" What are you even saying Manav me selfish?? Are you even in your senses?"

" Yes I am fully because the shivaay I know he can do anything for his family, his loved one Shivaay. "

" I still can do anything Manav "

" Then why the hell you left bhabhi your love when she needed you the most. And what you did you left her if this is not selfishness then what it is??  Tell me?? " He shouted.

And here my patience level break I am selfish seriously. When my whole world is snatched from me.That's what everyone think and who give him right when he don't know anything.

" I am not selfish " I shouted in the same pitch like his.

" Yes you are then why did you left bhabhi when she is on death bed fighting for her life. When she needed you the most you left her shivaay. " He shouted grabbing my collar.

And I froze  there  when his words settled in my mind. Anika is fighting for life what happen to her. No nothing can happen to her. I closed my eyes no the thought of something happen to Anika is more hurtful then her leaving me.

" Ani.. Anika what happened to her??"

"Manav tell me what happened to her. I am asking you something. " He seems to understand the seriousness in my voice he left my collar.

" You don't know?? " He asked shocked.

" No I don't know anything. Manav tell me what happened to her. "

" Then why.. " I cut him off.

" I didn't left her Manav. Will you tell me Or not  ?? " I shouted again. My breathing become heavy. It's hard for me to take breath.

" Shivaay sit here please and have some water take deep breaths " I try to calm down but how can I.

" I don't want anything apart from the truth. "

" Shivaay listen to me you first  sit here I will tell you. " I sat on couch Manav handed me the glass of water.

" Shivaay  bhabhi  is suffering from Brain Haemorrhage." He held my hand in his but it's so much to process.

"I will explain this in a simple language for you . Brain Haemorrhage is a brain stroke. It means a stroke in the brain caused by the rupture of the arteries in the brain. In a certain part of the brain, blood vessels will be swelled and burst out anytime causing bleeding in the brain. Bleeding in the brain is dangerous. There are types of Haemorrhages in this. In her case it's Intracerebral Haemorrhage means internal bleeding in the brain. In this, a part of the brain is swelled which leads to the rupture of the arteries which leads to the internal bleeding." Manav pause and looked at me but I sit there completely blank.

" How severe it is Manav? "

" It depends on the bleeding inside the brain. Many patients who have experienced a brain hemorrhage do survive. However, survival rates are decreased when the bleeding occurs in certain areas of the brain or if the initial bleed was very large. If we couldn't stop the bleeding, it will cause the brain cells to die and the person will also die.

I closed my eyes painfully unable to imagine her condition. How much pain she is enduring alone. And  here I am blaming for leaving me.

" Shivaay I know it's hard for you. But you can't fall weak  now we have to be there with bhabhi. "

" How you come to know?? "

" We had a medical conference in city hospital. From all India came here. I was coming to hotel when I saw bhabhi with her father. I was shocked to see her condition  she is unable to walk by herself. So i follow as I want to talk with her . They head neurological area. And looking at her condition I got idea that something is wrong. After they left I met the doctor who is treating her. It's hard to get the details what I anyhow convince him. He told me about her condition.

I was so angry on you that how can you left her. Just because she is suffering from disease. I wanted to clear everything so I called you here. "

We sat there in silence. Now everything is making sense why she didn't tell me reason or asked me not to ask anyone. She knew I didn't left her. That's why she break the marriage suddenly. I can't pinpoint what I am feeling right now. It's like a whole whirlpool of emotion going on inside me.

" I am sorry Shivaay. I didn't know that you don't have any idea. I thought you left her because of this reason. "

"You really think so low of me Manav."

" I know I am wrong what that's what came in my mind. Because from one month we are asking what had happened that you both break the marriage all of sudden  you didn't tell us. And  even you didn't let anyone contact with bhabhi or her family. "

" I didn't break the marriage Manav. It's her . She wants to end  everything how much I tried she didn't tell me the reason. I never thought she had done everything for me. She knows me well that's why she did this."  I closed my eyes I am tried it's like someone sucks all mine energy. It's exhausting mentally and physically both.

" What's her condition Manav?? " Fearing the worst. And one look at him I know.

" Bhabhi condition is serious shivaay. I had gone through her report. We had to do surgery as soon as possible. And I am sorry to say her survival chance is less. " I had to control myself. I had to be there for her with her. Nothing will happen to her. I will not let happen anything.

" Manav call the best doctor even it caused anything. Talk with them arrange everything as soon as possible. I will directly meet at hospital. "

" But shivaay where are you going?? "

" I have some work Manav . I will come there only and don't tell anything to others atleast not now. "

With that I came outside it's seem everything is suffocating me. I will deal with everything later my priority for now is Anika. I can't lose her no she can't leave me like this.

I reached to car where khanna is waiting for me.

" Khanna I have work for you. "

" Yes sir "

After telling him I made my way towards hospital I had to talk with her current doctor.

I was there in hospital garden talking about the status of consulting the doctors. As I turned I saw Rudra with uncle is coming towards me.

" Shivaay " Uncle said slowly his eyes are becoming teary.

"Uncle you remembered that you asked me to call you papa or dad. You said that you consider me as your son.
Did you ever consider me that. "

" Shivaay no it's not like that.. " I cut him in between.

" And you Rudra I consider you as my younger brother you also did this to me.  Am I nothing to you. " He looked down.

" It's not like that jiju. Anika didi asked us not to tell you. "

" You all listened to her did I not have rights to know. "

" Shivaay I know you angry and you are right . We try to make  her understand but she didn't listen shivaay. She is in so much pain shivaay she just asked this one thing from us. And we also thought it's good for you. "

" Nobody has to rights to decide  what's good me. Even Anika. "

" Shivaay I was helpless son it's just I Anika she is " I hugged him he is crying so bad. I am hurt and disappointed but I can understand as parents it's so difficult for him to see his own child suffering.

" You can't fell weak uncle. For Anika she needs  you. " He wipes his tears. I told him about the doctor which we are consulting to go ahead. Meanwhile Rudra bring water for uncle. Uncle went inside to consult the doctor.

I saw rudra standing silently lost in his thoughts.

" How is she Rudra?? "

He looked at me and hugged me tightly I can feel his body shaking. He is crying.

" Save her jiju. Please save her she is in pain. She don't a say word to anyone. She smile just for us but she is broken jiju. I can't see like her that.
I can't. "

" Nothing will happen to her Rudra. Nothing. " It's my promise to myself without getting my answer I am not allowing Anika you to go. Not this time.

Rudra phone start ringing he receive the call his face become pale.

" I am coming. "

" Didi jiju.. "

" Rudra "

" Didi fainted I had to go. "

I have my final exams in last April till mid of may. So next update will be late. Though I will try to provide one ASAP. But after this my college and everything is going to end. I am feeling so low about thinking that. It's tough to leave everything again to start a new journey from the start.
