Anika Pov

It's near to lunch time so I thought to set the table. As I am not  allowed to cook.

" Bhabhi what are doing here come " gauri said dragging me.

" Gauri what happened where are you taking me. " She take me to the next room beside living room.  Where all are present with some photographers clicking pictures of everyone.

"Anika where were you come we have to take family picture. " Said pinky mom.

" She is in kitchen " gauri said.

" I told you already there are servants to do work Anika "

" Yes Anika you don't have to do " badi maa said.

" Everyone is here come " bade papa Said I mentally thanked him.

Bade papa,badi maa, mom ,dad sit on sofa while we shivaay and me behind them in centre and either side om gauri, priyanka and Ranveer. Ishaan between bade papa and dad. After taking one-  two pictures Manav and Rudra joined.

" Take one picture of us with children's " bade papa said to photographer.

Pinky mom and dad stand as rudra were taking their pics.  They also called me. Then gauri called me.

I move towards all where other one photographer is taking the picture.

"Shivaay could you please move I want picture  with mine children's." bade papa said to Shivaay. And I clearly see the hurt on Shivaay face but he mask up immediately with a smile.

" Sure bade papa " he came and stand beside me. Nobody listen except me and Shivaay as everyone are talking between themselves.

" Priyanka Om come " bade papa said.

Bade papa badi maa stand inbetween with Ishaan in bade papa arms. Either side with om - gauri priyanka- ranveer. 

" They are looking perfect " Shivaay said with a smile. I looked towards Shivaay who is admiring them. Yet he is hiding his emotions with a smile on his face. 

Why I am feeling their is something off between bade papa and Shivaay. It's not only today but from the starting. Maybe I am overthinking.

After that elders left and we youngsters were remain. We clicked many pictures with eachother. Priyanka ranveer left to their room as Priyanka is feeling tried.

Bhaiya come sit Gauri drag shivaay and make him sit on stairs. And bhabhi you here making me sit on the  bottom stair where shivaay is sitting behind me.

" Keep your hand on bhaiya knees. Bhaiya you sit sideways. "

"Gauri already we have so many pictures what's the need of all this. "Shivaay said only to earn glares from all. 

" In your engagement we didn't get time for photoshoot so we are doing now " Om Said.

" It's your pre-wedding shoot as we  know  you will dein saying you have work. "

" No chance to escape "  Manav said grinning.

After taking many pictures in different poses told by  photographers while Manav jokes in between finally they allow us to go back in room.

I changed in suit maintaing saree is hectic. I keep the gifts in suitcase. But I don't understand one thing why bade papa behave strangely with Shivaay.  Om and bade papa didn't talk much.

I changed the bandage it's healing and thank god today nobody noticed because of sleeves are upto elbow.

I check my phone only to find missed calls from maa. After talking to her I play  some board games with Ishaan.

It's almost dinner time I came down with Ishaan. 

" Where is Om and bade papa "shivaay asked.

" They were in backyard " badi maa said.

" I will call them " shivaay said and leave.

I serve to everyone. But it's been 10 minutes they didn't come.

" I think they start discussing business " pinky mom said in disbelief.

" Anika go and call them " pinky mom said to me as gauri is feeding food to Ishaan.

I make my  way towards the backyard.

I heard voice of bade papa making me stop in my track. And what I listened cause the ground slip under my feet.

" Shivaay Shivaay  why don't you understand Om.  Why you run behind him like a puppy om. Shivaay is not your real brother for God sake.

" This is what he want I know very well him. Why you don't understand Om. Shivaay is doing all this because he want whole business under him. That's why from the starting he is supporting you. He knows you don't have interest in business so he can take over everything. I must say Shivaay played very well.

He freaking using you all. He is playing games. Whatever I say he always opposed and supported because he want to become good in front of you. This is all his tricks. I never wanted to you to become artists. But you didn't listen me.

I don't want gauri to be  your wife because she also don't have interest .I want someone for you how actually have interest in business as you not gonna change no never. Then Shivaay again supported you because he don't want any  hurdle in his way. So wisely he did that.

You guys never understand his ways. Following him like a lost puppy.  Even now I understand why he agree to marry Anika because she is not going to question him as she is from middle class family. Whatever she is getting is more than enough for her.

Not only you your wife and now Ishaan. For a smallest he run behind Shivaay. More than you he love Shivaay.  He very wrap everything around his  finger didn't he.

Not only in house in office also follow like a lost puppy. That's the reason I shifted to London so I can maintain business myself and asking you to shift as well. Atleast think about Ishaan and his future. Today he is showering love to him but in future when his children will come then what about Ishaan. He is just using him like he is using all of you.

I am saying you Om just understand we have time now don't regret at later when you don't have anything  in your hand. "

I was numb at that time. I don't know what to do what to think.  My eyes fall on shivaay who is standing at the corner emotionless. Take two steps back and he left  silently.

" Mr. Tej Singh Oberoi the great businessman. For you everything is business. Family , relation means nothing to you. Only business and money. You can't think anything except this. But I am not like you. And I never want to be like you.

And I happy and proud what I am Today and the only person is behind this is Shivaay.  He is the one who stand with me and priyanka when we need you and mom.

But you both were busy in business and making money that you forgot about your  own children.

He completed the responsibility which you have to do it. He is the one who cooked lunch for us as we don't like the when our friends bring home made food by their parents. He is the one who attended our parents meeting so we don't feel bad.

Whenever me and priyanka used to fight he is the one who sort out things between us. He used to stay awake when anyone of us fall sick with dadi.

He was child at that time also.Inspite of his studies his problems he has done every damn thing without complaining. He is the one who encourage me and priyanka to pursue our dreams which you neglected. He has faith in us in our talent.

You tell why priyanka didn't tell about Ranveer to you first why Shivaay. Because she know he will support her. Which he did.

About me and gauri you again stand against our relation but because of him only me and gauri are together happily.

And I am very happy that Ishaan admire Shivaay more than me. I will be proud if he became like Shivaay.

Whatever he is today is because of his hard work and dedication. And he deserves every bit of it. He is not like you for him family come first.

You are excusing him but you ever tried to find the reason behind why we respect and love him. No you never. He has earn our respect and love.

He is not only my brother he is my father also which you never became for me. So keep your thoughts with you only.

And we are not coming London with you. We will live here only. You said this thing today I repeat never again say this to me." Om said with tears in eyes left the room.

I stand aside before bade papa come out from room. No I can't leave him alone. I have to go. Before I can proceed. Manav stop me.

" Bhabhi where are you going "

I look behind to saw him coming towards my direction.

" Bhabhi"

" Manav I have to go I will come in some time "

" Bhabhi no it's not safe I can't let you go alone. "

" Manav you are not understanding "

" I am understanding bhabhi. I listened not full conversation but what Om said. " he said in a low voice.

" You.." I am not in right state.

" Then what for you waiting Manav I can't leave Shivaay alone when I know he is not fine. "I said with teary eyes how much I tried but no if I am feeling so bad. What must be Shivaay condition.

" Bhabhi please don't I will come with you "

We come outside shivaay is nowhere to seen.

"Where is gone god I know the places in Mumbai but here " Manav said.

" Manav I know where he must be " we get inside the car. Manav start the car. I looked outside to controlling tears to spill.

" Bhabhi please don't be worried."

" How I can't be worry I never seen shivaay like this. "

" He is like this bhabhi from the time I know him. In school days we all students used to play but Shivaay he never instead he used to study. Whenever I asked him why he don't enjoy like other you know what he reply that I have responsibilities to complete so I can't just waste my time.  Always first in class or any circular activities. He never wants to be an business man. He always wanted to be an doctor. When I asked the reason he said nothing is bigger than  saving someone life. After Dada jii deaths I don't know what happened to Shivaay that he chose to be go in business. Today also I asked him about his decision he never tell the reason. After school everyone parents come to take their children but for Shivaay driver used to came. Even in ptm as they remain busy in their own respective work. From that time Shivaay always make sure to wait for Om and priyanka. He used to go in their ptm. I know they all love him very much which he deserves.

I am his best friend then also he never shared anything because he don't want other to get worried for him. In school whenever anyone has problem in assignment or something they all used to go Shivaay because he has solution of every problem. Today also if I got struck in any problem the first name came in mind was shivaay. But he never share his sorrows and problems to anyone even with me. Always busy in work forgetting about everything. And when it's come to family he became the great wall of Shivaay Singh Oberoi.

I had remembered when tej uncle refuse for Om and gauri marriage he is the one who took the whole responsibility he fought with everyone in family can you believe it Shivaay Singh Oberoi fighting with family.

You know why I forced him yesterday because I want him to do something for himself that he never do. I know he will not change so I used to spend time with him whenever I get free even he get irritates or annoyed because he has to do work.

Today I am so happy that finally he got someone who was their for him. Who care for him. He couldn't have got anyone as best like you. And I have such a great friend like him  in my life " he said with a small smile on his face muttering something under breath.

I looked outside the window. Wind is blowing faster than usual with lighting. I saw the car outside.

" Manav stop he is here only  " I showed him the car.

I came outside.

" Manav please don't tell anyone about this. "

" Don't worry bhabhi I will handle you go to him "

I cross the bridge and their he is standing. His back was facing me.  I make my towards him. And without thinking twice I  back hugged him. I keep my head on his shoulder.
