Shivaay Pov

I am looking towards the gate after Anika left. She is so stubborn. And to my surprise she always get to know about what is going on with me. Moreover whatever she said is right if i will tell this to om Rudra, Ranveer and Manav they must be careful around. I called them in my room. They came after sometime.

" Are we going to do boys party. " Manav said and laid on bed.

" I highly doubt on you and how you become doctor. " I said.

" Always grumpy now care to tell why you called us. "

" Their are attacks planned on our family. So I want everyone of you to be careful and don't tell this anyone. Security guards will be around us. "

" You are joking right Shivaay " Manav said sitting.

" And why I will Manav. I will handle everything but you have to be careful around."

" But Shivaay why is everything ohk "

" You know Om important project is going on they want us to take our name back so they are blackmailing by planning attacks. "

" Shivaay what I am thinking is true right " Om said looking towards me.  To which I nodded.

" Nobody has to take tension. Everything is taken care of but I felt to tell you so I informed. As long as I am there noone can harm my family "

" Super hero back to earth don't put yourself in trouble " Manav said.

" Manav this is not first time this is happening. I know how to handle. "

" I know you  but what I am saying is don't put yourself in trouble " Om said.

" Rudra I am sorry because of .." he cut me in between.

" Jiju why are you saying sorry. I understand and it's not to your mistake. "

" Guys the environment  became so intense. So chill now so it's time for some fun only boys time " Manav said.

" Wait I will bring some snacks and drinks. " Ranveer join him.

We enjoyed a lot credits goes to Rudra and Manav.  Next day we explore other places like kimpty falls, jharipani falls company garden. Sir George Everest falls, christ church  And in  evening the very famous Mall road.

" Shivaay I found something come with me " Anika said coming towards me.

" What ?? "

" Your Rakhi gift that you asked me . I found something so come."

We go in a very narrow lane.

" From where you to find this. " I asked entering the small shop.

" Bhavya she told about this place as she already visited here once. "

It's a small art Gallery.

" It is the  art gallery not so much famous but the paintings are very good  here  as Bhavya told me. See his paintings. " Seriously it's splendid work of art.

" He make portraits also so give your best picture with Gauri and Priyanka"
Anika said as goes to watch other  paintings.

" When we will get the paintings " I asked the painter.

"  By tomorrow evening sir " 

" Fine I am forwarding you pictures."
I send him the pictures.

" Don't tell her about this two "

" Ok sir "

" Show me  the pictures."  Anika said coming .

" That you will see tomorrow evening now come "  to which she  frown.

" It's my idea now you are not showing me the pictures also. "

" Well you always have your secrets this is one of mine "

" Fine " she said walking ahead.

" Anika wait " I held her hand which cause her bump on me her hands on my shoulder and in a reflex my one hand on her waist. Some hair strands on her face which is blocking my view. I tuck them behind her ears.
Whenever she is close my heart start beating fast. This unknown feeling to hold her close. Her eyes which always attract me towards her I felt drowning in them. I can feel  her breath is heavy and that pink hue on her cheek didn't go unnoticed by me. I left lose my hold and step back I don't thinks to get awkward. But I know the effect I have on her. And she is blushing it make me happy it's because of me only. Shivaay what even you are thinking.  I Shake my head and come out from all this thought what is happening to me.

She hurriedly walked muttering something under breath shaking her head. I walked behind her. To ease the awkwardness I initiate the conversation.

" I want to buy something for maa - papa. " She walking ahead looking for suitable gift. At last we find the shop.

" See this one or that which one look good on papa " she said showing two shawls.

" Both are good " I said.

" Tell me the one"

" Left one I think "

" Bhaiya pack this one or show something me that bag. " pointing something towards the bags.

After choosing and selecting she paid the bill and I can't win this time.

" You didn't take anything for you " I asked her as she didn't brought anything for herself.

" I don't need anything " she shrugged walking ahead.

" But atleast take something for yourself. "  I said. I saw one shop and drag her.

" Choose something "

" Shivaay I am saying .. " I cut her in between.

" Choose Anika "

" Try that one " I said pointing towards the  one weird design earring.

" That is horrible" she commented I know her choice but choose to have some fun. I start showing her one or the other design which I know she will not like.

" Try this one I am sure it will look good"

" Shivaay from which angle it is looking good"

" From every angle " I said controlling my laugh but unable. She also start laughing understanding I am pulling her leg.

" I am not  buying anything if you continued to doing it. "

" Ok fine choose yourself "

" But your choice is horrible " she said.

" This one " she said shopkeeper to pack.

" My choice is not horrible . You are also my  choice "

She hurriedly left mumbling something smiling . I chuckled looking at her she is totally mad. I take the pack that she forgot here.

I came behind her.

" Balee papa balii maa " Ishaan said coming towards our side.

" What happened "

" He is looking for both of you.  Where were you "  Manav asked as he came behind him.

" Balii maa " he said extending his hand towards her as he want to go in her arms.

" Ishaan come here " I take him in my arms as her hand is already injured.

" No balii maa " he said extending his hand towards her .

" First time i am seeing him that he don't want to go to Shivaay. " Manav said.

" Ishaan come " Anika said.

" No Anika your hand "

" It's fine Shivaay "

" What happened to your hand bhabhi " Manav asked.

" Nothing  much. It's just paining yesterday "

" Why  didn't  you tell me I  could had  prescribed some medicine "

" I have  taken medicines Manav nothing to worry about "

" When shivaay is their no need to take tension he is moving medicine store.  " Manav said looking towards me. 

" I agree " Anika also said. 

" You have to be in my place why you become businessman Shivaay "

" Even I think because I don't know how you became doctor "  I said glaring at him.

" Shivaay baby "  someone said from behind.  No she can't be here. The most irritating person I ever know.

" Shivaay baby " Manav said imitating her and grinning.

We move look behind only to find her standing and smiling I make Ishaan stand on his feet.  She come and hug me tightly.

" It's so good to see you after long time Shivaay baby "

I break the hug.

" Good to see you too Tia "

She go and hug Manav also. She is our classmates in school the one who has crush on me and always tried to be around me.  Manav and me both don't like her and Manav always teased me because of this Shivaay baby.

" Isn't he is son of Om if I am wrong as I had seen his picture on social media. He is so cute. "  Manav nodded his head. Ishaan take Anika hand in his.

" She .." Tia asked looking towards Anika.

" She is Anika our friend." Manav said. As no-one know about our engagement.

" You here Tia. Alone or with someone. " I asked.

"Our trip of Rio de  Janeiro get cancelled so we came here for vacation. Robin is with me my husband . He is buying something their I saw you so came here. "

" Rio de Janeiro it's a good place "

" You have gone their. I listened their food  pincanha , Pão de queijo ,Brigadieros da Escocia  are very famous.  She start ranting. She just show off infront of others.

" Yeah it is you should go there. "

" Ishaan come we should leave " Anika said taking Ishaan with her.

" I thought she is Ishaan nanny . From when you start making friends like them " Tia said looking towards Anika direction.  And it angered me I didn't give right anyone to say anything to Anika.  Moreover , no- one has right to say anything about others  either about their profession or about them. The thinking of these people will never change. I hope Anika didn't heard  this. Before I can say Manav shout.

" If  you don't know anything then keep your mouth shut. "  Manav go behind Anika glaring Tia.

" Why he is shouting like this. I just assume her she is looking like a middle class so I thought " she shrugged.

"Whether it is middle class or not, no one has given you this right that you speak like this. Every person has his own life and profession, so don't disrespect other by assuming things. Mind before saying. " I said and came where all others are waiting. I looked  towards Anika she is with Gauri who is talking something she is smiling forgot to mention fake smile.   Maybe she heard what Tia said. I have to talk with her.

As we are heading back I thought to talk her but gauri and Priyanka not leaving her alone.

" Shivaay what happened "  Manav asked.

" I think she  heard what Tia said "

" I don't think so Shivaay. Look bhabhi is behaving normally . And about that Tia she like this only we know her since school."  now how I explain him.

" You are overthinking . Me and Rudra are going of camping you wanna join"

" No you guys go and please be careful . Rudra responsibility is your "

" yeah I will take care don't worry."

After I reached farmhouse everyone get back to their room. I thought to talk to Anika but mishra informed me to check the presentation for important project. Let me get back to office then I will handle them one work they can't handle. As I complete the  work I came downstairs for dinner as it's already past 10.  Only to find mom in kitchen.

" Mom everyone had their dinner "

" Yes Shivaay Om and gauri are out. Everyone else had except Anika. She said she had eaten something outside. You have your dinner "

Taking water she left. We didn't eat anything outside.  Why she lied I should check her.Out side  her room I knocked but didn't get any response. I tried to call her but she is not receiving. I again tried but same result. What happened to her. I call her name but got no response.

I called the manager and asked for spare keys. I opened the door but no-one is inside with dimed lights. I checked the washroom she is not their. I saw her phone on couch. I proceed to check the balcony then  gasp escaped from my mouth seeing  her laying on floor against the bed. I run towards her.

" Anika " I shook her. I patted her cheek  and sprinkle few drop of water but no response. I checked her forehead she is burning with fever. And god knows since when she is laying  unconscious on cold floor. I make her on bed properly covered her with quilt and switch on the heater. Manav is also not here. I came to my room take medicines and come back to her room and feed her. I rubbed her palm. I keep placing a cool, damp washcloth on her forehead to down the temperature.

I take her hand in mine. Some hair strands on her face I keep them behind her ear. She is looking so pale right now. Some time ago she is all ohk what happened suddenly. And what effect me the most was dry tears marks on her face.

Everything that is related to you effects me a lot Anika.
Seeing you laying like this is making
my breath uneven. This unknown fear has taken birth in me. Yesterday only I can't able to see you in pain now this. What are you hiding behind this smile Anika. You became the most part of my life Anika your happiness is something that's matter to me most.It's mine mistake I should had talk to you and  what if I didn't came here to check. What are you doing  to yourself.

I sit on couch as I don't want to leave her alone in this condition. And don't know when I slept. I heard someone shout. I again listen no it's not a dream. I opened my eyes and turned to see anika seating on knees clutching her head inbetween her hands. I quickly approached her. She is crying bitterly.

" Anika " I tried to take her hands in mine.

" Anika it's just a dream everything is fine.Relax  Anika "

All my efforts to make her calm down
failed her restlessness is increasing.

" Anika I am here, look here Anika " I said making her look towards me. Tears are continuously flowing. I wiped her tears and sweat from her face.

" Anika.  I am here relax. "

" I am so sorry. I am so sorry Shivaay"
She engulfed me in a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around her stroking her hair to calm down but her cry is not stopping. I can feel the wetness on my shirt. I never seen her so vulnerable. I am feeling worse with this feeling of helplessness.I tried to speak consoling words but nothing had been working. I become more tensed seeing her like this. What had happened that affecting her so badly.

"Anika what happened to you why are you crying. It's just a nightmare I am here control yourself "

After some time her sobs subsided I tried to break the hug but her hold remain tight.

Here the other update guys. I don't want to offend anyone sentiment about profession. I just used their so no offense regarding that. I know and I respect everyone emotions.   Now next update in 2022.  This year has thought me many things and help me to discover better version of myself. I would like to  know about  your experience what you learnt new or do this year. Eagerly  waiting.
