It's had been a week. I am going back home today early but seems Delhi traffic is not allowing me. Maa and papa already left yesterday to Bangalore. I have to do packing because tomorrow we have to leave for  Mussoorie.  Oberoi family is in Delhi only. They came in afternoon. Staying at Oberoi farmhouse.

And truth to be told I am nervous. After engagement I am going to meet them all. I talked to badi maa once or twice. I am going to meet them in person first time.

About the trip maa given me so much lecture what to do or what not to. What to wear , how to behave as I don't anything. She is so worried that  how I am going to manage.

Last week is very hectic to say. For shopping the gifts for everyone here and for wedding. Then helping maa in packing completing the office work.
I think same with Shivaay also. We have talked by message only. Because whenever I am free he is not. When he is we can say after midnight. Then I am asleep. He didn't want to disturb me. So we talked on whatsapp.

I didn't think to pack or what not to . Even I have to help rudra in packing because he don't like packing. But as sister I have to help him. It's already 7 pm.

After 15 mins I finally reach home. I unlock the door and came inside. Where is rudra he said he will come home early. He also start working in one of the MNC.

I changed my clothes in my regular tshirt and pajama. I called rudra. He informed he will be here in 30 mins.

I came to my room. I open my wardrobe now most difficult thing what to pack what not to.  First thing i took out the sareer the one Gauri gifted me on my birthday. She asked me to pack. After debating with myself. I take out some clothes.

I take my handbag and take out two boxes. One is for Ishaan. I am very excited to meet him. And i opened the second one. It's a gift for Shivaay. I never given him something so I brought this for him. I hope he will like.  I keep them also.

My packing is half done now. Rudra is already home. Now I have to help him. We ordered the food as i am already tried also don't want to cook. Radha didi already left.

" Rudra keep all things  out that you want to take with you"

" That's what I am doing. You just arrange  them in suitcase. "

"  I am trying to do but you  taking out first then keep them back. "

" I am confused "

" Rudra do it fast. I have to do mine also. "

" Di I am doing keep patience "

Then only door bell ring.

" Rudra go must be our order. "

" Going arrange them "

He said and leave. After arranging the bags I came downstairs Rudra already set the  table. We had our dinner. Rudra go back to his room. I am washing the dishes. After washing I am going towards my room but door bell rang. I see the time it's already 9: 30 who must be at this time.

I wipe my hands. As I open the door i got shocked seeing the person in front of me.

" Hii " he said.

Why he always surprise me every time. Last time also he came from nowhere and now also. Atleast he should have informed me. And then it hit me. I am in tshirt and pajama with this Messy bun looking like I can't even say how I am looking.  What he is doing here at this time.

" Shivaay you are standing here only. So busy in admiring bhabhi." Some one said from behind.

" Shut up Manav " Shivaay said looking behind him . Their came one man looking as same age of Shivaay.  He came stand beside Shivaay grinning like a child how got his candy.

" Finally bhabhi I get chance to meet you. " He said smiling.

To which i smile awkwardly. That's what I am feeling right now.

" I am Manav you soon to be husband's best friend. "  He introduced himself. Shivaay told me about him.

" It's nice to meet you. Come inside.  " I said.

They came inside.

" Bhabhi your house is so nice and cosy. " He said admiring the living room.

To which I smile. I came in kitchen. Now I am meeting his friend like this.If he is coming here he should have informed me.

I came back  with water. Rudra was already  downstairs talking with them. I give them water.

"Were are your phones. I am trying to call you both but no-one is picking up." Shivaay said while drinking water.

My phone must be in my room. I am so busy in this that I forgot about it.

" My phone is on silent even I don't know where I kept "  rudra said.

"Anyway tomorrow is bade papa and badi maa 40th anniversary so we  decided to give them surprise. So we are here  to take you both. We will leave from their only in morning."  Shivaay said dropping another bomb. Now seriously I have so much to do. My packing are not done yet.

" Now " I said may be he is joking.

" Yeah any problem " Manav said.

" Is their any problem " Shivaay asked.

" Jiju her packing is not done yet " rudra said.

"You can do it now. We can leave after that. Gauri , Om Priyanka are taking care of everything."  Shivaay looking at his watch.

I came back in my room. My room is mess now. First i take my phone. Their are some missed calls from Shivaay, Gauri. Whatever was meant to happen has happened, now I don't have time I have to pack soon.

After 30 mins i packed my bags. And changed my clothes. Most importantly I put charger in my bag always I forget to take this. I wear dark blue colour suit. And then I realised I don't have any gift what will i give them. It's late what should I do now. I will see in way if I get something. It's Shivaay mistake he should have informed me prior.

I came downstairs with my bag and hand bag. To see three of them engrossed in talking. Thank god rudra know how to make coffee.

" Di finally you are here. " Rudra said.
Then they noticed me.

" We should get going they were waiting for us "  Shivaay said.

Rudra take mine and his bag. I take all the gifts that maa already kept them ready.  I thanked her mentally.  I checked all the windows, doors light.

" Bhabhi give this I will keep them in car. "  Manav said.

" No i will "

" That's not done bhabhi i am like your brother only " he said making innocent face.

" What I listened about you is right. You know to make other do what you want " I said smiling giving him the gifts.

" That's what Shivaay told you about me. Very bad for him. Bhabhi I know his all secrets that surely i am gonna tell you. "  He said.

" What you want to tell  " Shivaay came from behind raising his eyebrows towards him.

" Your secrets Shivaay. I waited for this  day all my life. "  Manav said.

" Don't you think you are talking too much" Shivaay said  glaring him.

" See bhabhi that's what I am saying he always remain so grumpy. " Manav said again to irritate Shivaay which he is getting.

" You just wait for sometime Manav. I think you are forgetting something "

"  What I am forgetting??"

" You have to call someone don't you " Shivaay said.

"Oh shit how can I forget. Thanks bro"

Saying he leave both of us. I locked the door and keep the keys in my bag.

" You should have informed me prior about badi maa and bade papa anniversary. " I said.

" We all had forgotten Priyanka remembered in the evening itself . "

" But what will i gift them. At this time I don't think I will get something." I said looking at the time.

" You are taking tension for this reason their is no need for gift ."

" No it's first time I  am meeting them and it's their 40 th wedding anniversary. "

Before he can say something. Manav called us. I sit on back seat with Rudra. Shivaay is driving the car and Manav is sitting on passenger seat.

Whole ride I tried to spot something but there is nothing all shops are closed. Rudra and Manav are looking like long lost friends. Both were teasing me or Shivaay . Rudra you are my brother or not.

Soon we reached the farm house. We get down.

" Servants will take the luggage Come " Shivaay said.

We came inside. But nobody was there. All were in garden area. We go towards the garden area. Gauri,om , Priyanka , Ranveer discussing or we can say arguing over something.

" Hold on guys  why were you  shouting like this " Shivaay said going towards them.

Then they saw us.

" Bhabhi  finally you are here " gauri said. She came and hug me tightly.

" It's so good to see you " gauri said breaking the hug.

" Same here Gauri "

Then priyanka also hug me. Om and Ranveer hug Rudra.

" How are you bhabhi " priyanka asked.

" Fine where are others " I asked them as no elder are present their.

" They will come after some time as we asked choti maa and chote papa to keep mom and dad busy " priyanka said.

Om and Ranveer give me brotherly hug. I am looking for Ishaan.

" Ishaan is he fall asleep . " I asked gauri.

" He is with them only. " Om said.

" But tell me why you guys are arguing" shivaay asked them.

" That we telling gauri and priyanka not to put too many balloons but they are not listening us " Om said.

" Because it will not look good" gauri said glaring him.

" Guys don't start your World war now. We don't have time so finish this. " Shivaay said to both of them.

" You know do whatever you guys want we are going " saying gauri dragged me and priyanka inside.

" What they think of themselves let them do "  gauri said.

" Calm down Gauri why are you getting angry. " I asked her.

" Bhabhi I am not angry . It's just having some fun you know " now she is smiling sheepishly.

" Bhabhi Gauri bhabhi is like this only. " Priyanka said.

"But it's nice you came we are missing you " gauri said side hugging me.

" Bhabhi come let make us presentable we are looking like a cartoon. Mom dad will be coming anytime. "

" Oh yes come bhabhi. "

It feel so nice to spend time with them. Gauri is always cheerful filled with enthusiasm. And on the other hand priyanka she talk less but have great sense of humour. They were trying to make  me comfortable.

We make ourselves presentable. Gauri and Priyanka left I am finding by hand bag. I have to take my phone. But don't were  my luggage is kept.

I am looking for someone to ask. Before that Shivaay stop me.

" Anika "  he called me from behind. As I looked towards him he came with gift in his hand.

" Here take this "  he handed me the gift.

" What's this "  I asked him being confused.

" It's bade papa and badi maa gifts so give them " he said.

" But .. "

" I know you don't know about this earlier. So I brought this from our side "

" But you brought this gift Shivaay " I said to him looking the gift box.

" If I have been in your place you will do the same don't you " he asked shoving his hands in pockets.

" Yes " I will do the same.

" See you have your answer . But where are you going"

" I am finding the room where my luggage is kept I want to take my phone. "

"Last room at the left side. Come fast as they are coming  ." He said.

" Thank you "

" Again thank you. " saying he left. I kept looking his retreating feature.  He always keep we over me. Everytime he proves me wrong. It's so thoughtful of him to buy this gift from our side. This man is so different. He always thought about others before him.

And this remind me he have his dinner or not. I asked them in house but they both refused saying they will have later.

I came in this room is also looking so good. The most importantly the balcony.  I came in balcony. Everyone is downstairs  talking doing last min preparation with smile on their faces. Automatically smile formed on face seeing them happy.

I take painkiller headache again start before it become worse. Taking phone I came back to garden.

" Bhabhi why are you standing their come " priyanka said.
 

We all engrossed what do next pulling eachother legs and today's target is Priyanka and Ranveer.

" Bhaiya done please don't embarassed me that time I am child so stop " she hiding herself in Ranveer arms. While all are laughing looking at her flushed face.

" Dad messaged me they are coming in 2 mins. "  Shivaay informed everyone.  We all switch off the lights and hide ourselves.

Soon we hear the foot steps coming towards us. As it's click 12 Om switch on the lights we all wish happy anniversary coming out.

And they are  literally shocked seeing all the arrangements. But Ishaan who is peacefully sleeping in  Pinky mom arms wake up.

" Happy anniversary bhaisahab and bhabhi " dad wished them .

" Happy anniversary jeth jii and jethani jii "  mom wished them hugging badi maa.

" That's why you guys are not ready to come home. " Badi maa ask mom.

" This was all their plan ". Mom pointed towards everyone.

I came towards them touched their feet and wished them .

" Finally I get to see you Anika "  badi maa said hugging me.  Bade papa also blessed me.

" I am very happy by Shivaay choice. " Badi maa said looking towards Shivaay how is standing their with Ishaan who is being cranking and he didn't notice me yet.

I touched mom and dad feet to which they denied.  Rudra also take blessings from elders.

" Finally you are I am waiting for you so long . Now we both daughter and mother will spend some me time. I am so bored with these two man."   mom said side hugging.

To which dad and Shivaay frown.

" Hey don't look me like this i am saying the truth. You both are very busy in your work ". Mom said complaining.

" Let's come and cut the cake mom and dad " priyanka said.

I move towards Ishaan how is half sleepy busy in his own world.
Gauri,om and everyone wished them.

" Heyy Ishaan you forgot me " I said from behind.  To which he looked towards my direction.

" Balii maa " he said loudly giving full blown smile.

I take him in my arms. To which he hugged me.

" Now your sleep is long forgotten " Shivaay said to Ishaan to which he royally ignore.

"Wow my own family is ignoring me."
Shivaay mumbled to himself which I listen.

" Heyy both of you come " Manav said.

" Ishaan will eat cake or not "  I asked him.

To which he nodded his head excitedly.

We came where others are standing.
Bade papa and badi maa cut the cake and feed eachother.  Then other feed them. But I noticed something is off between Om and bade papa. Maybe  I am thinking so much.

" I want cake. " Ishaan said loudly.

" How can I forgot this little man  come here " bade papa said.
Ishaan go to him having cake happily.

Then everyone give gift to them.  I and Shivaay come to bade papa and badi maa.

" Bade papa and badi maa here it's for you  from our side." I said extending  gift towards them.

" Anika Shivaay what's the need for this " badi maa said.

" Yes Shivaay Jhanvi is saying right"

" Their is no need but we want to give you so take it now " shivaay said.

" You will never change " badi maa said taking gift hugging shivaay side way.

" Thank you so much " bade papa said to me.

And i give all the gifts that maa brought .

" Anika what's the need for all this "

" It's all send by maa and papa as they feeling bad not able to meet you all "

" I will talk to Asha jii their is no need for all this. We understand they have to go " mom said.

After everyone settle their. Ishaan is already asleep.

" Mom dad tell us how you both met. We want to listen your story. "  Priyanka asked.

" Tell them bhaisahab. " Dad said grinning.

Later they tell their story. Their 45 th year of togetherness standing by eachother in every up and down.

It's already late so everyone called it night as we have to travel tomorrow.
All retried to their room. As I laid on bed sleep engulf me.
