Shivaay Pov

Life is change drastically after engagement. Before myself I have to think about her. My one descision can change someone's life. I had been trying to call her but neither she is recieving nor she is replying then her phone is switched off. She never done like this.

I try to concentrate on work. But I am not able to. I again try to call her but same answer. If she is ohk maybe she is sleeping. I messaged rudra he said she is with him.

But something might happen that she didn't reply. It's not that like only one person life is changing after marriage. I understand girl have to leave her house,her city. But it's not that boy life same as before. It's our responsibilities to make her happy and take care of all her comforts.She is trusting me for her life. But I am also trusting my life to her. Marriage is bond of two persons and two families. Everything is equal in marriage. Girl boy both are equal in every aspects. If girl has one or other responsibilities then boy have their own. Equality is something that is required in every relation.

I had seen dadi and dadaji the respect and love they have for eachother. Their love never faded even after dada ji death dadi love for  him increased. I learnt from them only the equality in their relationship.

And same I want in our relationship.
I noticed her their is something she is not able to say to anyone. Something I had seen in her eyes. I want to know her like noone. She want time I am willing to give her. The hesitation in her is something keeping her back.
But now I want to talk to her. I am not able to sleep. If I didn't talk to her.

I again tried hoping that she will pickup and she did.

"Thank god you pick up the call or else I thought you pledge not to talk "
I said as soon as she picked up.

" It's this way how you talk. And i am not picking up your call that's means I don't want to talk. So good night. "
came her voice.

" Hey Anika wait. That's why I called you to know the reason behind why you don't want to talk " I really want to know.

" You are talking like you don't know anything "

" Then why I will ask to you "

" You will let me sleep or not "

" Until and unless you will tell me reason " here i she take my sleep and their she want to sleep not happening.

" Because of the stunt that you pulled at morning "

" Wait what because of that ." Thank god this is the only reason. I know Gauri told me she is worried in morning. And i know it's my mistake i should atleast talk to her. It's all new to her.

"Happy realisation Mr. See how many time I called you."

" I know I m at fault but at that time I was very angry . I didn't want my anger to come down on you or on anyone else. For sure that was the last thing you want to see. Because anger bring my worst side. " I told her truth.

" Whatever is the reason but this is not right Shivaay you know that.Even Gauri and Om is worried for you. "

" I know I am at mistake. "

" Then what for you waiting apologize "I frowned listening her.

" And why will I apologize "

" you are at mistake you should "

" You also have to you also didn't recieve my call and top of that you switched off " I didn't apologize to anyone. She is playing then I am not getting back miss.

" But I didn't do any mistake. I am upset with you " smile formed automatically. We get upset with them whom we think we have right on them.

" Then I am also not going to apologize "

"That's why I always say you are so full of yourself ". She always say this to me. It's very weird for me to apologize.

" Anyway why you didn't sleep it's quite late. " She said.

" Same thing I can ask "

" Can you stop asking questions for a question. Or else I am cutting the call " came her irritated voice. I love to tease her.

" Ok nothing working and you also didn't picking up my calls. "

" Again you are working till late " why every one has problem with my work.

" That's my habit "

" You have weird habits you know "

" What's weird in this "

" That for you to find out. You didn't tell me that you know cooking "

" You never ask me ". She never asked me or never we discussed about this.

Silence. I said something wrong.

" Hello are you their "

" Yeah I just didn't except this so "

"You mean I can't cook "

" I am not saying their are only few man know cooking. Even rudra don't know how to cook "

" It's quite late you should sleep good night "

" Good night "

I cut the call. She didn't talk freely and their is reason behind that. Even I want to know answers from her. I am waiting for right answer. Because some time she asked something which have hidden meaning.

After two months,

After the hectic day I came back. Days are running like anything. Only six months remaining for wedding. Date is fixed one month ago 30th November. Coming over to our relation we progressed. Anika started talking more, sharing more she start opening but not fully and I happy about this . We didn't get much time because of our professional commitments. This time she is busy she has to lead some project . She understands me and my priority like noone can. She always behind me to eat on time. She even start scolding me because of my work habits. Already I have so many she join them. About Ishaan and Anika their bond is so strong. He even forget me when it's come to his badi maa.

Everyone in family is so happy with Anika . They don't stop praising her. About wedding preparations mom is so excited she told no she threatened me to ask Anika about changes that she want in our room. Yes it's our not mine. She asking me from so long to show her room but I didn't . But now I have to do.

We talked over video call once in a week and I always been in office only. So she didn't get chance to see room.

Badi maa and bade papa is coming in first week of July more precisely after 15 days. They have cancelled their plan because of some business issues.

"Bale papa bale papa " Ishaan come running. Surely he did something.

" Slow down Ishaan you will fall I am not going anywhere"

I take him in my arms and he kissed me on my cheeks. Surely he did something or he want something.

" So much love for me what you did this time"

" Noo " he nodded his head in no.

" Then what you want "

" Shake shake shake"

" Ohh I see some one want chocolate milkshake"

" Yes " he said grinning.

" But you are not getting you are eating chocolates more you should so no milkshake"

" Bale papa " he start sobbing.

" It's bade papa Ishaan not bale papa "

" No bale papa shake shake " he start crying. Drame baaz.

" You will get only in one condition " he stop crying and listen me with full concentration.

" you will eat all veggies from tomorrow with  no crying or troubling others done "

" Done " he said smiling. One minute he is crying now smiling.

" And you will not say anything to your mom or else she will definitely kill me for giving you milkshake. She strictly told me not give you "

" Secret " he said in my ear.

" From where you are learning this "

" Balii maa " he said grinning.

How can I forgot about Ishaan and his badi maa secrets.

We came in kitchen. I make him sit on counter. I started making his shake then only my phone start ringing. It's Anika call.

" Hello "

" Hello " she said in low voice. Something definitely wrong.

" Are you busy " she asked.

" No just making milkshake for Ishaan"

" Ohh I will call later "

" Ohk 15 min i will call you"

She disconnect the call. After giving milkshake to Ishaan. I asked om to take him.

I came back in room and changed my
Clothes. Then I video call her.

She picked up three rings. Their she is sitting in front of laptop with red eyes. One look at her I knew she had cried.
In this month I never seen her crying or better she always hide her tears like now.

" You cried don't you "

" No why I will" she said.

" Then why were you sounding so low over the call and even your eyes were red "

" That because of headache and eyes were red as I am working continuously "

" I am not buying your lie now tell what happened " I asked in firm voice.

She looked here and there. I know something is going in her mind.

" Anika I am waiting tell me what happened "

" It's not happening Shivaay. I can't do this "

" Because you are leading this project you are getting scared don't you "

" What if I failed their are so many people who are more experienced than me "

"You worked so hard for that project how can you failed in that. Why are you scared Anika. Your confidence speak volumes. It takes gut to prioritise knowledge dedication over other things in life. "

" But how can you be so sure Shivaay " to which i smile.

" Because I know you. You can do it Anika you are just over thinking so stop worrying yourself. Have faith in yourself. And tomorrow you gonna be give best "

" You know you should start doing counseling. You are so good counselor. " She said with a small smile.

" Thanks for the compliment"

" Where is Ishaan?? "

" He want milkshake so he came to me after having he go back to Gauri. "

I know how to lift her mood.

" You know I am thinking to show you something "

" What ?? I am asking you to show your room but you are not able to do that. Now what you want ?? "

" Hey that's very bad. I thought to show you today but now you saying like this "

" Seriously Shivaay " she said with excitement. She need just small happiness. She is back.

" Yes "

"Then what for you waiting show me "

I come outside the room.
Firstly I show her door then I enter I show her the vanity then closets. Then I show her the bed side area. As I moved to poolside. She stopped me.

" Shivaay what's it's shinning in your room "

" That's water of pool "

" You have pool Shivaay " she asked shocked.

" Yes let me show you. "

I came to poolside area. Showed her.

" It's so beautiful Shivaay. It's gonna be my favourite spot " she said excitedly. She is imagining herself here.

" See if you want any changes in room tell  "

" I don't want any your room is so beautiful everything I am already in love with your room "

" Miss trivedi it's our room  in sometime it's going to be your room also. "

And she smiled softly.

" Still there are six months mister so it's your room only "

She never going to agree with me typical Anika.

" Today also you over worked don't you " she asked.

" No it's just some business clients are fussy over the deal it's take a lot to make them agree on our terms and conditions. "

"All bosses are like this only make their employees work like anything " she said and i frowned after listening her. And min later realisation hit her.

" Excuse me "

" Ohh I am talking about my boss Shivaay you know  and it's late I am sleepy good night "

" Don't stress your self sleep peacefully. All the best for tomorrow. Good night "

I cut the call. This girl seriously need some lessons. 

I kept my phone away. And laid on bed with Anika thoughts sleep engulfed me.
