My Fanfic Experience In General
First TMI: 23/24 October 2020
I want to write about how much I grew up from writing three years ago.
I read wattpad approximately three years ago during the summer because I was so bored and wanted something more. I liked the show, Miraculous Ladybug, so I began reading and building my platform on that. I wrote 5 books about miraculous ladybug sans the unfinished works I was planning to release sometime two years ago ( published in a separate book).
Looking back to https://www.wattpad.com/477641719-i-loved-you-an-adrienette-story-chapter-1
I reread it and it was so short and bad. I used to think writing more than 300 words was a piece of work.
I Loved You will have a place in my heart as my second book published on the site with my first book being unpublished for my inaccurate theories on the series. It's deleted so unless you can magically find it, I am happy.
I remember feeling proud about writing I Loved You and Drops of Poisonous Love during my freshman year. I often would turn to these books as ways to escape reality, from the negativity and now here I am more brighter. I really thank miraculous for changing my life or I would be in a worse state I guess. You can find them at chloebourgeois. I used to have so many followers and could have stuck with it, but sometimes you come to a point where you want to separate from a brand. I was selfish and still wanted to claim the username as mine because I am pretty sure a lot of people wanted it. (I got that one email that someone tried hacking it *facepalms*)
My next phase came in the form of roleplaying still on that account, fun fact: this was supposed to be my roleplay account but I got used to the original account too much. I came this account only to read yandere fanfics, and I haven't read them quite in a while (I only keep up with one, I suggest thelobsterlord is generally a good choice, I still remember their discontinued fanfics and I wished they didn't unpublish their last one they were making).
Somewhere I changed and wanted to write more serious fics, and guess which fandom absorbed me? Harry Potter. I wasn't too big into it, but if you look at my drafts, I have several unpublished Harry Potter fanfics that I haven't finished and they are based on my own universe. The only ones that managed to get published were Tales of The Lestrange (I felt sad when it didn't get much viewers because I spent two months writing 50k+ words for the first time), and Their Stories (available on ao3, but haven't finished, and a little stray from my portrayal of my universe).
Again I changed the following year when I saw something special: BTS. I knew they existed, but the only KPOP group I listened to were Blackpink with a sprinkle of Red Velvet.
I read mainly Blacktan fanfics, and I admit became a delulu for a couple of months before switching to my ult: NCT.
Now here I am writing NCT fanfics thinking my writing has improved.
Short note: NOPE, but at least my minimum went up to 800 words instead of a max of 300.
See you on the next TMI.
