The Ambassadors are a worldwide team of volunteers who help Wattpad with the day-to-day running of the Community.

The aim of the Ambassador volunteer program is to encourage a fun and engaged community that supports the millions of Wattpadders who read and write here every day.

Being an Ambassador means that you want to give something back to the Community. We focus on helping people find their way around, show them where they can find useful information, curate amazing reading lists, and try to encourage and nurture new writers.

What we're looking for:

- You must be 18 years or older at the time you apply to join the team for legal reasons

- You should be an active Wattpadder, and a part of the Wattpad Community (have a profile on Wattpad) for at least 4 months prior to applying

- People who want to be representatives of the Wattpad Community, and who maintain and uphold our Community Guidelines

- Members of the community who are able to dedicate at least 4 volunteer hours per week to the team

- Good written knowledge of English is a must. You don't have to be fluent, but day-to-day communications on the team are all done in English, so a good understanding is essential

Please note: The profile/account you apply to join the Ambassadors with cannot be a shared account. By 'shared' we mean that more than one person knows the password to the account you're applying with.

You will also need to have regular access to a computer/laptop to perform your duties as we use spreadsheets and documents that are not fully accessible on a mobile device.

Submissions

Submissions for new Ambassadors open and close three times a year to align with our three annual intakes of new volunteers into the Ambassador Program.
