Welcome to the Paradise Islands. Home of the fiercest warriors in the world. Warriors who work hard every day to deliver our people the best stories hidden in their hearts. But in a world filled with wonderful writers, there's the obstacle of their stories being lost in a sea of amazing books and never been seen by readers around the world.

That's why we're here. We want to help you reach the top by reading and giving you feedback about your writing, your story, your characters and of course we want to increase that read count and pray that the Wattpad algorithm will recommend your book to new readers.

Amazon Islands Book Club is our community's second club and compared to the first one, it's drastically different. If you're a longtime member of the community and Wonder Writers Book Club, please read the latest note posted on the Wonder Writers Book Club.

How We Work:

Unlike our previous book club, we'll have an assignment every two weeks. There won't be a recommended number of chapters to read, the members will read as many chapters as they can until a new book is chosen.

Compared to the typical activity of selecting partners to read each other's book, this time a group of people will have the assignment to read the same book until a new one is sorted. This means that the people who have their books under the Fantasy genre will read a book chosen  in that genre. Those under the Romance genre will read a book chosen in that category and so on.

For now, due to our schedule, we'll only accept ten members (including the admin) per category. We're starting small, so the genres that will be accepted are:

1) Fantasy

2) Paranormal

3) Romance

4) Sci-Fi

5) Teen Fiction

Depending on our admins' schedules, we may add more categories.

Also, there will be a stricter screening process before joining this club. Submitted works will be looked over for spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

Works don't have to be completely polished--after all, the aim is to help improvement--but a common comment we received from the previous club was that some books were difficult to read and give constructive criticism about plot, characterisation, world-building, etc., due to the grammar.

Similarly, we will test constructive commenting ability as everyone who signs up is looking for solid feedback on their work. More details will come in a later chapter.

We're looking for dedicated members, and dedicated members will be rewarded. A rewards system will grant prizes to participants as they reach a certain number of chapters read and commented on. More information will be available in a later chapter.

And it's not just writers who can enter. If you are a reader wishing to read more and provide comments on undiscovered books, feel free to sign up too.
