Personality:
Energetic and curious, Sushi enjoys a good time and is always looking for something to do. Her canonical adopted brother, Soy, is probably the only thing that keeps her under control due to her hyper habits and slight anger issues.

Backstory:
Admired for her voice and ideas of art, Sushi decided to become an idol in hopes that maybe she can form life-long memories with someone.. but oh so little did she know.. now as an idol, Sushi got wrapped up in the Squidbeak Splatoon as Agent 9, helping with whatever task she now must be put up with while also keeping her career as an idol.

When she was little, octolings weren't exactly accepted in the dominant inkling society, so she painted a black line between her eyes and tried to pass off for an Inkling on the streets. Anything about her previous family is unknown, but an Inkling named Soy took her in as a sibling and kind of just hid her from the family for a few years. She tried her best to remember where she came from, but has eventually forgotten what the underground is like. What was Octarian and Octoling life supposed to be like?
Soy promised her that everything would be fine, no matter what species/race she is, so he protected her when she was made fun of at their school for being different. Nobody exactly knew she was an octoling, but they'd call her names for her different appearance. Did Sushi care that little squids called her names? Nope! She took all that they said as odd compliments and laughed with then.
Soy didn't need to protect her at all, but he's very protective anyway.

Years later, Sushi and Soy formed Neon Tide- their idol trio, although mostly a duo- with one other member by the name of Wasabi.
Sushi went missing for a while, so Wasabi and Soy got some time to shine without her as they needed two idols up on the screen.
Soy put up posters and everything, but Sushi was missing and nobody seemed to know where she was.
Not even she herself knew where she had been.
Soy and Wasabi found Sushi unconcious near the closed-off staircase (the one that leads to the Deepsea Metro), later she claimed "I don't know what happened today. I was only gone for a second, though! No need to worry about me, Soy, you always worry!"
She had been gone for weeks, not a day.
People like to ask what had happened, they will theorize, but still to this day- even if all of that drama has calmed down by a lot- nobody knows where she had gone.
